When you walk in esthetically everything is clean and well designed. It's bright and inviting as well so I already felt at ease. The front desk lady, Hope, promptly greeted me and got me checked in. She had actually called me earlier to try to get my full body treatment done in one day bc I only have my lower body booked but I didn't see it so just had one appt. She took to the back to my room and got me set up. I told her it was very cold in the room and she quickly got me a fresh blanket. The PA came in, Mara, and she was FAB! She really helped me comfortable, explained everything to me, and really took her time doing my full lower body. I do have to say that I have I high threshold for pain and didn't the session was painful at all. At the end Mara mixed a little soothing concoction for me and then rubbed all of my body that felt amazing. When I came out, Hope let me know that somebody canceled and I was able to do my upper body too I really appreciated her looking out for me to make it easier to get my full session in one. Overall, highly recommend. Great staff. Clean facility. Will keep you posted on results.

A day later pieces of my scalp started falling off in flakes. I went to two different salons who both told me that my scalp was severely burned. Danny gave me the full refund but unfortunately that doesn't cover the cost of what I've been spending to repair my scalp - and definitely doesn't help the embarrassment of walking around with huge flakes falling out. I never write mad review but I really don't want others to experience what I did. I'm so lucky that my hair didn't fall out (which the other hair salons said should've happened - but guess what - it didn't because I have a TOUGH SCALP unlike what Danny said). I picked a design I had had my eyes on for at least 4 years, and looked forward to getting a hammer and anvil to mark 3 years of perseverance and willpower. Chris ruined the experience for me and turned it from a celebration of my own achievement to a showcase of his ineptitude and idiocy. From the moment I set foot in the shop, he gave me crap about the design: the placement of the anvil and pincers, the overall design, etc. Despite the fact that I provided my own reference material and gave clear instructions about what I wanted done, he half-assed the job and finished the tattoo in half an hour with the skill of Napoleon Dynamite. I felt revolted by his work as soon as I got back to my place and from the first moment I looked at it in the mirror, knew I wanted it removed. Now, as a seasoned tattoo collector with more than 20 on my skin, I am having to pay 3 thousand dollars and endure blistering lasers once a month because of this imbecile man's belief that he is anything other than someone with a skill (HA) who lends his abilities to others to make their vision come true. If you want to have your positive tattoo experience shat on and to endure tattoo removal for years afterwards, I highly recommend booking with Chris at Oxygen Ink.
