My car got towed whatever but the service here is ass. The reception lady needs to be fired. Leaving work early before the store closed when the website says 5:00 and she leaves at 4:30. Then she rudely hung up on me when I was there to pick up my car. I'm a college student and don't have a lot of time to pick it up. The least they can do is actually stay open till the time it says they are open till. I will not be paying for an extra night. This is not okay and not how people should be treated. read more

Absolute crooks. I'm a decent guy but I'm sure karma will come back to get these bums! $450 for an invalid reason on my car being towed for 2 hours. Reviews tell the truth on these people - just greedy and rude read more

If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. This was hands down the worst service experience I've ever had. The tow truck driver was completely unprofessional and unaccommodating. I arrived at my car less than ten minutes after the service was called, yet he insisted I pay him $250 in cash, no exceptions, just to drop my car from the tow truck. When I explained it was a misunderstanding, he rudely told me I had to pay for his "time", which amounted to fifteen minutes max. Out of frustration, we agreed to pay just so I could leave. He then handed me an "invoice" just so he could pocket the cash. Pretty sure he just made up the amount on the spot. This man essentially scammed $200 for fifteen minutes of "work" and treated me with complete disrespect the entire time. Absolutely unacceptable and predatory behavior. read more

Worst place EVER, super rude over the phone AND the tow guy was soulless. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, if these guys didn't have a contract with the city of West Chester they would be out of business in a day!! Whoever that lady was that answered the phone needs to find herself in therapy, I can tell she's taking her inner anger out on the customers! read more

Very rude and don't like answering questions. Asked a question, got attitude, and got hung up on. I wish nothing, but the worst for this company read more

I called because my car was broken down in a West Chester Parking Garage and I was informed they were the tow company that would come in the garage to help. Dean was here within a half hour, wire brushed the corrosion off the battery connecters and jumped it and it started right away. I call that good service and will use them again if necessary. read more

I've never had a more unpleasant experience, both over the phone and in person. This lady Katrina over the phone was rude and obnoxious, hung up on me and when I tried calling back she denied my call. Awful place, don't recommend whatsoever and I seriously hope that they figure out the phone receptionist situation because I promise nobody wants to talk to any obnoxious moron like that. Get your business together. read more

This place is the worst place that I have ever gone too. I do not think I have met anyone that works here that is in any way friendly or helpful. I also realized that they are pretty much the lowest rated towing company in the area, so if you are in dire need of services, I believe you are better off waiting for a company than asking any of these awful people for any help. When I called to make a complaint because the tow-truck driver got in my face and took my phone out of my hand in an angry rage, they just said "we work with people all the time and it's annoying.". Seems like you may be in the wrong line of work considering you picked a job that is not only with people, but with people who are most likely feeling stressed out. Honestly, a shame that they are still in business and a big disservice to all. I wish I could rate lower than 1 star but it will not let me read more

The woman behind the counter was miserable. Acted as if doing ME a favor or as if I was a criminal??? They had my mother in law's car there after an accident. I offered them the salvage and asked what they would pay. They said they don't do that but that I could sign the title over to them and they would take care of it. I opted to call a service that would pay me for the salvage and after I paid the bill to the West End and 30min later the other salvage co showed up, the women behind the counter came running out screaming for the driver to get out of her yard and then kicked them off the property. Fortunately I could start the wrecked car and limped it to the street just off their lot and the salvage company loaded it there. Zero kindness, concern or any concept of customer service from West End! The bulldog (real dog) behind the counter had more personality and was slightly more friendly. If you have a choice, use another company! read more

My car was towed from a parking lot in Chester Springs to Westchester where West End stores their vehicles, and they charged me $645. When I inquired about why they cost was obscenely high, they responded in saying that the tow itself was separate from the cost of winching the vehicle into the truck. There was also a charge for storage and a charge for the lot, a disposal charge and a standby charge. Since you can't tow a car without winching it, and you can't store a car without a lot, I'm not sure how those are separate charges, and I'm even more puzzled by why they charge so much for those. I priced out the same exact tow from four other local tow companies in Chester Springs - Kenny's towing, Judges towing, Express towing and Bench's towing - and each one of them quoted me between $115 and $175 for the exact same tow. Why West End can up-charge so much more and get away with it? Well because it's a hostage situation and you either pay their fee or don't get car, and they'll charge you another $65 per day. West End is highway robbery. Avoid them like the plague, because they'll take all your money and then charge you more for the inconvenience of having to take all your money. read more

Total crooks. They prey on people who get their car towed because they have no where else to park , then try to justfy their inflated prices. Do not use this towing business. read more

Use someone else!!! Consistently rude and nasty. If your car is towed there after an accident, they will only let so when certain towing companies onto their lot as they seem to have toxic relationships with other towing companies. read more

The rudest, meanest, most disrespectful business people I have ever spoken with. Due to COVID many land lords have not been paid rent for a year. Many Renters have not been able to pay rent for over a year. $325 towing bill for 4 hours? $325 is a big bill for people that can't even pay rent? read more

West End Towing are skum. If they didn't have a contract with West Chester they would have been out of business a long time ago. My car was there for 14 hours and they charge me a 2 day charge bc it got towed their at night and then charge me again in the morning when I removed it. They're only looking for profit and dont give a shit about the people whom either just lost their car or it got damaged. Then their dispatch sector is terrible. They dont explain exactly what they've been fed. They have no remorse or ethics. Other then trying to squeeze money out of their "clients". My recommendation, if you use them dont, if you have to use them get your vehicle out of their lot asap! read more

I'd give this company zero stars if I could. The negative reviews are all correct. Pay attention to them. Rude, horrible people. Tow driver was aggressively rude when I wouldn't let him tow a severely damaged, low-profile car with a dolly truck instead of a flatbed. read more

My car broke down across the street at the CVS & the man who towed my car brought right across to the WELSH Automotive Repair shop. I would give them zero stars if I could. They towed my car because a pass was mistakenly left out of the car. Fair enough. But this happened while I was on vacation and I was not able to get the car until 6 days after they towed it. I was charged nearly $500 including storage. During those 6 days they left my car under a tree, in a poorly maintained lot. 6 days worth of sap, leaves and bird dropping we're all over my car. The thing is, I am a lawful resident of the lot it was towed from, The car had every right to be there. I had a pass hanging in my apartment it was, *frustratingly*, just never used. Again, *my* mistake. When I tried to explain this to them and ask them for some sort of concession they were completely inflexible. They kept telling me my car was illegally parked, to which I told them it was not illegal, just not correctly placarded. This distinction made no difference. Further, they only take cash. So I needed to play frogger and cross 322 twice, to get cash from the ATM at the CVS. This was amazingly frustrating. I think someone should contact the IRS to make sure they're reporting all of that cash. I can only hope they get audited and fined heavily. A bit of Karma would be nice.... read more

lmao the hillbilly of a truck driver couldn't even do simple math and had to ask what 40-25 is and then started being aggressive like he wanted to fight me. These people are dishonorable, won't follow rules for apartment parking; the driver flat out said he was told to tow 3 cars today and he towed 3 cars regardless of where they were. Good luck and god speed should you ever run into these greasy people read more

Worst place the police had them illegally tow my car out of my driveway then dug a 2 inch hole in my driveway and proceeded to say that they can't tell if they did it obviously if i scraped my own driveway I'd know about it and the woman inside was very rude and ignorant. read more

This crappy probably racist towing company needs to reevaluate their life. My car was towed from my parking spot THAT I PAY FOR. What towing company tows cars without double checking if it's your own spot? They looked alittle unintelligent so whatever. I called the owner some idiot with a lisp to figure how how they're gonna charge me $225 to get my car out when it shouldn't have been towed in the first place and he hung up on me several times. Unprofessional towing company with incompetent workers. He said if I kept calling him he would raise the price to get my car out. Is that how towing works? Let me know because I didn't think so. I guess white trash around here needs to get their income some way. Too bad money doesn't buy class read more

If they show up at the accident scene to tow your car you have no choice. Watch what they do when towing the car. If I could rate them lower I would. My daughters car had to be towed and the next day my daughter arrived at the company to pick up the car. The tow truck driver who towed the car the night before was there. He said she should not drive the car as it was leaking oil. I got on the phone and he told me the car was leaking oil and that I should turn over the title, the car was done. My daughter asked to at least go and try to start the car. It started fine and so she opted to drive it to the mechanic to avoid storage charges. As it turns out the car is completely fine. Oh and the tow truck driver looked her up on social media and requested her friendship. Completely unprofessional and I am super thankful we decided NOT to listen to their advice and opted to drive our "oil leaking" car off the lot! read more

Just what a damn fucked company poor service to honestly and the lady on the phone is very rude

This is a horrible company run by liars. They towed my car because somebody told them to. Somebody that had no legal authority to have them do it. Worst of all, it was towed from my own space. I called the company after verifying everything and the woman just screamed that I'm not getting my money back and hung up on me and would not pick up the phone again. I am in shock that your car can be towed from your spot and you have to pay to get it back. It's racketeering. read more

BE AWARE!!!! Had them store my camper here and when I came to pick it up, it had a massive scrape all the way down the side. Clearly, they hit the gate moving it. Refused to let me see the video footage that I asked to see. Basically they knew they had done it but didn't want to have to fix it. Very sketchy place and horrific service. These guys can't even let a camper be stored without damaging it, can't imagine letting them service or repair a vehicle. Their reviews reflect them perfectly, a run down building with terrible terrible staff and no regard for their customers. You won't see this place staying open much longer. Take your business elsewhere. Don't make the mistake I did. read more

Do not use them. I wish I would have read the reviews first. I got a flat and called them for roadside assistance. They said they would arrive within and hour. horrible horrible customer service. business is a joke. my left thumb could provide better customer service.

This place will tow your car at after 5pm even though they close at 5pm, Making you wait til 9am to retrieve it. I'm not used to these little town hillbilly companies, that rip people off so blatantly. What towing company closes at 5pm but will tow your car at 5:01 to get the overnight charge? This one!!! The city of West Chester needs a more reliable company to use for towing cars. Maybe one that has reasonable hours. I will be attending the city council meetings and writing all members of the board to make sure that something changes. I will continue to write and attend these meetings until something changes. As a business owner in town I find this company to be a joke. It effects clients perception of the town when we work with jokers like this company. read more

Writing this review a week after my engagement with West End so that no one is mistaken that this was written out of anger. Recently I was towed in a lot that did not have adequate signage. I had parked my car to unload something into an apartment, and upon coming back down the steps ten minutes later, they had towed my car. I called immediately to ask about retrieving it but they were apparently closed. Funny because they just towed the car five minutes ago. I then asked when they were open to which they answered 9-12 the following day. Already an inconvenience as I had plans before 9. Upon arriving, the store was closed up and I waited 45 minutes for anyone to show up. The manager who I spoke with on the phone was rude and arrogant to a fault before I had even warranted attitude. $175 later for a 1/2 mile tow. 13 hours in a lot. Two rude reps. Very unprofessional in every sense of the word. I would strongly urge any complexes, parking lots, and other business establishments to shy away from using West End as your means for towing. It reflects poorly on your business. There are better options in the area that can properly police no parking zones without going to great lengths to abuse and take advantage of their power. Very disappointing. read more

Do not ever do business with these guys! I went to Westchester and parked in a parking lot outside where the old rite aid used to be. At night you cannot see the no parking signs the numbers on the parking spaces are so tiny and they were covered with snow anyway that night. I went to hear a band at a local bar. I was there for one hour, when I came out my car was towed! It cost me $175 and I could not get my car that night they made me come back the next morning! They are working this with the owner of the old rite aid building. They know that many people park there because the signs are not clear at night. They were towing people all night. Some nice locals were trying to warn people but they can't warn everyone. These guys are dirtbags. read more

Illegally towed my car. When the owner of the building I parked at called to tell them they shouldn't have towed my car, they said it was in a completely different spot than where I parked. When the owner of the building corrected them, they stated it was a new guy who made a mistake and I could pick it up no charge. Basically STOLE my car and gave no sort of apology, then tried to get me to sign a contract stating they weren't liable if anything was damage. Will be hearing from my lawyer. Absolute joke. read more

I have used West End towing probably 5X. In all different situations, and also with different cars. They were prompt, did a great job, handled the cars carefully and went the extra mile to help us by dropping me and my daughter off at our home one time and another time helping my college age son and also helped us in our driveway with dead cars. We felt the charges were appropriate and we tipped. We love West End towing. read more

Unbelievably Rude!! My daughter was towed in a lot that had a hidden sign. I tried to pay by credit card over the phone, the woman was so rude to me then said NO. Fine, so then I told her my daughter would stop home to pick my card. She said she wouldn't accept it unless I showed up in person. I explained that I couldn't and we don't live close by but if she wanted I could let her bring my licence. She started to get nasty with me so I asked to speak with the manager. Her smug reply as she laughed was "I AM the manager!" This woman seemed to be getting a kick out of this! Do yourself a favor and avoid them if you can!! OVERALL QUALITY SERVICE VALUE read more

Had an accident with undercarriage damage but NO BODY DAMAGE. Car was towed to WET and when it was delivered to mechanic the front end was torn off. the detailing strip was missing EVEN THE WINDSHIELD WIPER was broken. With 5 witnesses to the condition of the car before towing I was shocked that they would damage my car like that. Driver was not nice either and would not release car from hitch until he got a check!!! The one good thing was the young lady who answered the phone at WET. She was helpful. I am concerned that the police use this company when needing tows when they clearly do not care about the cars. My car wasn't totaled by the accident, but was totaled by the driver of the tow truck!!!! read more
