Vanessa assigned us to the most amazing tutor on the planet - Sofia. Sofia is fun, patient but most importantly, has taught our daughter to not be afraid of math - particularly when it gets more complex. Now that our daughter is in Gr 7, we have seen a definitive change in her attitude towards math - she no longer hates or fears math anymore. In fact, most recently, she informed us that she now understands the 'language of math' - music to our ears. Her most recent test mark: 95%. I have recommended The Math Guru to countless friends - you are truly the best math tutoring service in the city; we would not go anywhere else. Thanks so very much Sofia and Vanessa!

It is a family run, traditional Montessori school, and so the atmosphere here is unique, and I would even say special. The classes are small so nobody gets lost in the shuffle. I really can't say enough good things about this school, honestly. I sometimes wonder what I would do without them :) I highly recommend anyone who is thinking of going in the Montessori direction, to definitely check out Discovering Minds.
