My puppy returned back to me dirty, smelly, and incredibly sick. Beginning Friday evening (he was returned back to me that day), he pooped out a sock. He did not eat. Saturday afternoon he pooped out part of a red toy. For the following week, he went on to eliminate another 7 objects (socks and soft toys) that were all ingested while in the care of Ruth. He was admitted overnight to the animal hospital two times in the two weeks since getting back from training and visited the vet two times. While in the animal hospital they found a large soft object that was still stuck in him. This was object 10. I had no idea he had 10 items in his body when he returned back to me that Friday which explained why he stopped eating, drinking, couldn't sleep through the night, and became lethargic (all of which is what led to me seeking medical care). All of the medical expenses totaled $6,000 last month but the worst part was having an extremely sick puppy for 3 weeks straight and Ruth taking no responsibility, stopping all communication, and blocking my puppy's Instagram before she ever even replied to my first email explaining everything that had happened. Thankfully my pup is home and recovering but is down 8 lbs from this whole situation that lasted a month, and awaiting the vet to determine what will be done about the kinks in his intestines from passing so many objects back to back. Not only did Ruth not train my pup but she was negligent in boarding him by not keeping a close eye on him while knowing his history and why he was with her in training. My puppy has been to day care and boarding many times at another reputable dog facility in charlotte and not once has he returned with any foreign items in his body. My puppy attended week long board and train with a reputable trainer in Florida when I first got him to work on different puppy behaviors and basic commands. Again, he never returned home sick or with anything in his body. This has been a disaster.

He would bark at any strangers that approached us, even though we knew he is a total sweety. Ruth's approach of positive reinforcement is a game changer and has helped Bodhi gain confidence. We can now have him join us in public places and is very well mannered. He walks so well now I leash. I would highly recommend Ruth to anyone who needs help with training, basic obedience, and walking on leash. She is fantastic and truly understands dogs and their needs.

We were fortunate enough to find them while we were searching for land to build on. They were kind enough to look over the land we were interested in purchasing and gave their opinion as to what home it was suitable for. We spoke numerous times with them during the land purchase and while working with our architect. They even attended a meeting with our architect to go over our plans and discuss potential cost saving ideas. There were several times when Mitchco suggested options to achieve what we desired in a custom build while saving us thousands. They were always willing to meet with us and willing to listen to our questions, responding with detailed explanations. REMEMBER that no builder can control the weather. As frustrating as it was, our build was delayed due to rain, snow, and freezing ground; but you must remember they want to build as much as you do. They did NOT come back with random price increases and any build modifications were at our request, fulling knowing there would be additional fees. They definitely used superior contractors and products. They didn't get the cheapest labor and products available which absolutely showed during the build (we were at the house at least 1-2 times per week). A suggestion: If you are thinking about adding something to the build; E-Z Breeze window system, larger deck, bumping a wall out... DO IT!!! Don't settle and/or plan on doing it later, we do NOT regret ANY of our modifications at all and it would absolutely cost us more to go back in 5 years and change something. We can't say enough positive things about the entire Mitchco build experience...Thank you Mitchco for building our dream home!!!

I…read moremade the purchase from the Plafftown location and upon receiving the mower, 2 things were wrong with the mower. Lcd screen fogged up on the first start and the safety with via the parking brake contact was faulty, thus making the starting difficult. I was pissed but, somewhat understanding. Had to take it back, a hour to hour 30 minute round trip. Told it would be back in 2 weeks. When the 2 weeks had passed, I called and was told, they would "get to it the next week"! Ahhh, I just bought the damn tractor to mow and was needing (grass does tend to grow during this time of the year), the mower to do so. Nothing"runs like a Deere" right. I told them I would deal with those issues later because the whole purpose of a mower was to in fact, mow! Another week, maybe, was not an option. Drove back and the next day, I mowed. Wait a minute! The cut looks like Ray Charles adjusted the deck! Spent 4 hours, yes, every bit, trying to get the damned deck to level as per directions and every tube video available as a guide. To NO avail. How the Hell could this come from the dealership this way??? Much colorful language was expressed! I was pissed to say the least. I kept the mower and used it for a total of 7 hours because I needed to mow! And was to mad to take it back, just yet. Finally, I had enough. I just happened to find this dealership, called told them of my problem and was told to ring it to have it checked out. I schlepped it to Ashboro's James River Equipment location. Nolan was very helpful and understanding and listened to me moan about "green" paint. Fine, I figured I would get it fixed and when retrieved, would sell it and get a Toro, as I have "The Beast", a commercial 60" z series that I love, as it never "laid down on me", but, it is too big for around my home. Great for the 3-4 acres surrounding the hacienda however. Damn near went and bought one ( a smaller deck), during this time. I did express an interest in "upgrading" to a x350 to Nolan, as I was gun shy to say the least of the x330. After a week, I was contacted by Nolan and told the deck was in fact "defective". Love me some dat "green" paint kiddies. Yep, gonna sell the thing as soon as I got it back... I told myself. Nolan communicated they would have to get it (a new deck), from the factory. Great, a month away. I thought. Nolan was very professional and understood my "angst". 4 days later I received a call from the owner/manager "Brian"and we chatted. I chewed and he kindly listened. Long story short, he offered me a complete refund, tax and all back to me towards a x350 with a 48" deck if I wished. He didn't have to do that and I was truly surprised! His kindness and professionalism was in "full" display and very much appreciated to say the least. Thoughts of a Toro soon faded during his proposal, and I went yesterday and picked up the new x350. I Will mow tomorrow with the "Hulk II" and add to this review to report how it performed. But as far as Brian and the gang at James River Equipment in Asheboro goes, 4 stars. A professional attitude that is far from normal these day's. Thanks guys, really appreciate it!

Get there a little before 4pm and this RUDE front desk lady I formed me that they moved me to 4:30pm and that it would be about an hour wait. For a comprehensive exam???? I know we are in a pandemic but COME ON Banfield! I canceled the appointment because I'm not waiting an hour and I'm not dropping my pet off to sit in a crate ALL day until someone can see him. Get friendlier staff members and have better Covid guidelines. This is pretty freakin ridiculous. Will NOT return to this location and don't advise anyone else too either.

Several fabric shops suggested that we use Spivey's Upholstery because of Mr. Spivey's knowledge of antique furniture. We took the chair to Mr. Spivey and shared with him something of the chair's provenance. In a few days he contacted us and told us that he had been doing some research on our chair and found artifacts in the piece suggesting that in the 1930's the owner attempted a restoration of the chair. Some of the materials and techniques used for the 1930 restoration were not authentic to the period of the chair's manufacture. He asked if we wanted him simply to replace what he found, or to use traditional techniques and materials. We assured him that we wanted the chair as nearly identical to its original design as possible. I was astounded at Mr. Spivey's knowledge, his willingness to do intensive research and his skill in restoring the Chippendale chair to its original glorious appearance. As he worked on the chair, he continued to find features in the wood revealing how the chair had originally been assembled, covered and decorated. Mr. Spivey followed these cues and produced a chair that is genuinely a work of art. We are heartily delighted with Mr. Spivey's expertise and skill, and we offer the highest recommendation possible.
