Walked around quite a bit popping our heads into coffee houses. Found this gem. Fabulous homemade shortbread by the cash register .

My wife and I also shared a millionaire shortbread (when in Scotland...) which was a great treat with a layer of shortbread topped with caramel and chocolate. Indulgent. Yes. It was sunny and we were able to get a table on their patio (dogs are welcome). You order inside, all of their employees were friendly, and they bring your order to your table. They have a soup and sandwich lunch option that was simple, and just right. We also took a piece of lemon cheesecake to go.
