I had a special occasion pop-up unexpectedly and needed my suit cleaned within a few days. A co-worker recommended West Cleaners and said that they should be able to get it done quickly. I dropped it off on a Tuesday afternoon and asked how soon it could be ready. The lady working the counter was very friendly and said that while they usually ask for two days, she would try to have it done by the end of the next day and to give them a call then before coming in. I've used the wash and fold service 3 (4?) times and I love the quality and the fast turn around, and the low price with no minimums. However, there is no system in place to verify what items you bring in. (ie. They don't count the laundry with you or do a checklist you sign off on, or anything to make sure that what you drop off, you get back). First load I reported I was missing a sock, second load a dish towel and last load (yes, I know. But I really just felt like it was a huge coincidence) I left my own hand written inventory with them, which I could see that they referred to. So, today at pickup when I counted and found the pants short one pair (6 recorded but 5 in the bag) I called the main line again to report (which appears to be the manager and/or owner personal line) and was told that my inventory was wrong but they didn't tell me at any point because they "didn't think it would matter." I was told that they've never had to do a customer inventory before and no other customers seem to have this problem, I can come look through the small items they have that sometimes get stuck on the insides of the washer/dryers and see if my sock and dish towel are in there. ( So... things do go missing? I thought it was just me). When I tried suggesting to the manager that they do an inventory of some kind so there would be zero misunderstanding, I was told that the system of checks and measures they use (which is not mixing customer items) have been great, until now (me). I got the same flippant attitude when I called about the sock, and I felt so stupid when I hung up for even calling about a two dollar sock. Today when I called about the inventory discrepancy, it was clear that the manager was irritated and thought I was the problem. I've never threatened or complained. I've been kind, and have been trying to be helpful bc I really wanted to use this service. But no convenience is worth being condescended and gaslit over. I heard this cleaners was under new ownership and when it was time to clean the blankets and pack away for the winter I thought why not...,,and the price was right.(less than if I brought my oversized blanket/comforter to the laundromat because it will not wash well in my washer without throwing the machine off balance!). So typical of april spring weather we had a cold snap and I pulled open my perfectly packed clean king fleece lined blanket and oh my goodness it cane out brand new!!! I don't usually post bad reviews but I am today. I HIGHLY discourage using West Cleaners. UNG clothing and sales recommended them for getting my husbands uniform cleaned. He dropped it off last Saturday. They said it would be done Wednesday. Jer went to pick it up and there was a note on the door saying he had Jury duty and they would open later that day. I went Thursday- the girl told me it wasn't done because he'd had jury duty. They were doing it that day and it'd be done the next day. I went Friday at 2:00. Still not done. She said it would be done in a few hours (they close at 5:30) We went back today and it's STILL not done! No apologies, no discount. Nothing. I understand life happens. But does it hurt to call and tell your customers there's a delay? Or to just tell us it wouldn't be done until Monday so we weren't driving across down 5-6 times. Hopefully they don't ruin his uniform too. read more

I took a $75 Tommy Hilfiger shirt in and they pulled the button-down button right off, and tore the front of the shirt on the machines. When I brought it in (having been a customer for months) I was told I had to present the original receipt for the shirt, and that it must be the original or it would not be reimbursed. Of course, I had not saved the receipt when I had purchased the shirt several months before (do you?). I said I would see them in small Claims court. That afternoon the sheriff showed up with a restraining order prohibiting me from going within 500 feet of them or their facility. They have no worry. For the person complaining about him having Jury Duty, and why he didn't call you while he was in Jury Duty.....why didn't you call before you drove across town (probably 5 miles) to check to see if he was able to finish your order. I find that just making a simple phone call, helps out in any situation and would have saved your time. read more
