Since Immaculata is a Catholic University founded by the IHM Sisters, it's not uncommon to pass a nun on the way to class. Mass is held on campus, which is another plus. There are a variety of sports and activities to become involved with, so don't expect to be bored! The architecture of the buildings, specifically the dome, is beautiful. Despite the school's old age, things are kept looking fairly new, while preserving historic aspects. The dining hall is a real treat compared to those of other college campuses. A dining menu is published each week featuring a variety of food catered to a lot of different dietary needs. Some of my favorite dishes Nazareth Hall serves up are bagels with strawberry and pumpkin cream cheeses, chicken parm sandwiches on Amoroso's rolls, BBQ ribs, chicken quesadillas, BBQ beef brisket, corned beef, and homemade cakes. I absolutely love the fact that fresh, local ingredients are used when possible. There's also plenty of delectable special events that take place in the dining hall such as IU in Peru Day and Late Night Breakfast. I'd recommend that anyone attend this school or at least stop for a visit!

Come to find out students can stay in anyones room they want too without any one checking. Just don't want parents to be fooled by all the crosses on the building. And the variety of food choices is limited as well. As a parent there is more I could say just make sure before you pick this school.

As you know, Pope Leo XIV is an Alumnus of Villanova University Catholic theology. Appropriately, Villanova (and the other catholic school, Notre Dame) are finalizing plans for a historic men's and women's basketball doubleheader to open the 2026-27 season in Rome, Italy, on November 1, 2026. The games will take place at the 3,500-seat Palazzetto dello Sport, Pala Tiziano, located 30 minutes from Vatican City. This is the first time College basketball season kicks off in Europe! We're very excited as true Villanova college basketball fans. Let's go Nova!!! Thank you

Whether it's participating in the Special Olympics Fall Festival (the largest student-run event of its kind in the world) or just hanging out at the Oreo, there is a genuine sense that people care about each other. It's a "work hard, play hard" environment, but with a heavy emphasis on service. I completed my MBA at Villanova, which is consistently top-ranked. The curriculum is challenging, and the professors especially in the Finance and Nursing programs are well-connected. Let's be honest: Basketball season is a religious experience here. Standing in the student section at the Finneran Pavilion or heading into Philly for a big game at the Wells Fargo Center is an unmatched vibe. \\// up!

Bryn Mawr is an inimitable place. Any top-tier college may have comparable academics, but nowhere where you find such a thriving community of passionate, inspired, intelligent individuals. Not only did I have the incredible opportunity to be taught by Macarthur "Genius Grant" winners in every class (not TAs!), they'd talk to me like an equal afterward. I have to admit that I found the students to be even more inspiring. Someone was always doing groundbreaking and fascinating research, but there was always enough time to explain it in a relaxed way over chocolate chip pancakes. And if that weren't enough, the traditions really did bring the entire campus together, in ways a Yelp review can't do justice to. All the upperclasswomen were astoundingly knowledgeable and supportive, and the friends I made at Bryn Mawr are friends for life. Without question, going to Bryn Mawr was the best possible decision I could have made for myself as a young woman.

In addition to having the ability to walk across a gorgeous campus, there is access to a local rail-trail. The professors, both tenured and adjuncts, at the university care about sharing their knowledge with students while encouraging class discussions. If a student needs extra help, professors go out of their way to be helpful and the tutoring center is a great resource. I found the student body to be welcoming, friendly, and passionate about learning. There are a number of student organizations on campus and activities to participate in. For example, I co-hosted a radio program on campus. There are also interesting lectures that take place on campus. I highly recommend enrolling at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
