Have you ever been somewhere and just gone wow this food is the bee's knees! The cats Pyjamas! Or some variant to that effect. Because this place most certainly did that for me. Firstly the decor is lovely, post modern layout. The floor tiles are older but very modern, dark, grey coloured which matches the tone of the wood tables and dividers. Interestingly half of the cafe is only six months old because they've done so well they had to expand. Which they so deserve! Now something that surprised me on my second visit was the staff. Not for their kind words, presentation or genuine interest in who I was or what I wanted but rather for the detail to how as people they matched the cafe and it's food. As if the cafe was built around them or as if the cafe was hired by them not the other way around haha. It's so stark that one staff member actually stood out feeling as though he didn't belong (this doesn't denote from anything, I just found that the recruiting is taken just as seriously as the food). The staff are wonderful, didn't interrupt during my meal but asked afterwards without sounding like a prerecording. The manager and I spoke with a bit about the place and was a delight to speak with. Very dedicated however would come and ask a few question every now and again whilst I wrote which caught me off guard and made me forget what I was trying to convey in the review. So the coffee is good. I'm pedantic with coffee so it's never good enough for me haha. But this blend was nice. Portion was pretty accurate but wouldn't go to say perfect. First cup seem to be off second was too but fine. Now the food, banana bread is great. Good texture, soft, little bit of a crunch, home made. Crumbled on the fork which made me worry a tad but was far far far from dry. The lemon curd was beautiful, and the presentation was just as beautiful. Over all a star dish. The "out benny" dish which is a take on the classic is a super star. Loved it! Hands down! Hollandaise sauce could be a bit more tangy but otherwise it's a perfect dish. Presentation amazing as per what I now expect from them. The southern fry chicken burger also was a enjoyment. The chicken wasn't deep fried batter either, thumbs up! And the chips? They were like fresh maccas chip, not too sure if it's a cost effective decision or a flavour move but either way it's very cool and they taste great. My brother enjoyed the pancakes which I finished off for him, so I can't truely give a opinion on them but what I did have was too great. The macadamia nuts on it were outstanding!? To the point where I had to ask them if they prepared them here or if they purchased them like that!! Over all I'm going to keep on coming back. This place is amazing and it just makes me want to try every dish on the menu. They came so very close to five stars it's not funny, and I may even change the star rating after my next visit. Truly a pleasure to eat here.

A cosy cafe in a burgeoning part of the inner west, one to watch for sure.

In the end we found a table and the waiter came straight away, he was very friendly and didn't mind that my mum didn't want dry fruit in her fruit salad. After a small chat the food came in, we were both surprised how quickly it was. I ordered the Boston Burger which was amazing and it came with plenty of chips and it filled me up really easily. The bread is really soft and the chips were very tasty! My mum enjoyed her fruit salad and was very happy with the restaurant (which can be very difficult). All in all I would 100% recommend going to this place, with friendly staff and amazing food what else is there to want?

If you don't have much time on lunch break (like myself), called them to order in advance and their friendly staff will prepare a special table for you and everything. Looking for brekkie? They've got 'em all. I usually randomly ask them to prepare me some scrambled eggs on toast with mushrooms, tomato and spinach. The result is better than expected. Try their Benedict eggs as well. All worth it. Lovely and friendly staff! Nice background music!

It isn't a huge coffee shop, and it is nowhere near as crowded as some of the other ones around the place, which is also pretty cool. The staff are quite friendly, and the coffee wasn't all that bad either. However, what I really liked about this place was just the relaxed atmosphere, the quiet surroundings, and the aesthetic design.

It's a beautifully designed little place, taking over the convenient corner space previously belonging to the Seddon Post Office. An all day breakfast spot, The Little Man offers the standard array of eggs, though someone at a nearby table ordered the 'Little Man's Burger' ($16 with chips or salad, one of three lunch options) and it looked freaking delicious. Will definitely give it a go next time I head there. They're clearly catering to the young family crowd in the area, with egg & soliders and nutella/jam crepes on the menu for the kiddies, as well as a doorway ramp practical for the ever growing size of prams these days. With HEAPS of lovely natural lighting and a huge share table in the front window, it seems like it's going to become a really great place to grab a coffee, do some work on a laptop or meet friends for breakkie. Latte was really smooth & nice, and while it was always going to be tough to live up to the coffee standards of their neighbour Common Galaxia, they're not too far behind. Give this adorable little place a few weeks to relax and settle in and it will no doubt become another well loved addition to the ever growing Victoria St.

Honestly. This venue…read moreoperates in a very competitive location and it also houses a very lucky position with itself sitting pole position from the Sun Theatre properties. However.. This seems to be one of the only positive aspects of the Business through my previous visit. As mentioned very competitive and populated area around Sun Theatre. The desserts are all outsourced, which is fine yet are clearly not kept or served with care. Cakes are dry and not as you'd least expect. Wine also tasted questionable which I find difficult to understand if it's due to the product itself ( Poor Menu Listing) or contained signs of aerated. [ We had the macadamia cheesecake with a glass of shiraz & rielsing] Staff service. Very poor. Caucasian Male staff member carrying on and walking in and out of the venue during our time spent and then returning with friends who would also allow themselves out back to the kitchen/food prep area and engage in social conversations with younger female staff in what was a clear desperate cry for attention and acceptance as a young male. Conversations could be heard throughout the venue about their desire to go out 'get pissed' and general respect towards other staff non involved in their conversations were very blunt for a team atmosphere. Confronted the staff regarding issues when leaving and was amazed at how quickly their attitude changed when behaviour was addressed. He's response was some what of a child being lectured by a teacher at school which leads me to believe he was full of sh*t when agreeing to his behaviour as poor status and will continue to behave with no care of the business he represents nor self presentation in the future. As mentioned. Venue is great and has potential and poor experience was definitely driven by the team representing the business that evening. I will not be returning.
