Good evening, I am writing as a deeply angry and disgusted…read moreparent. Today, when I picked up my son Leonardo, I was informed he had SLEPT ON THE COLD TILE FLOOR because he was "hot." That explanation alone is UNACCEPTABLE, but it gets worse. He was WET when I picked him up this afternoon--his hair, his pants, his coat--completely soaked. And when I asked why, not a single staff member could give me an answer. "I don't know" is NOT an acceptable response when a child is returned to their parent in that condition. The lack of accountability, the carelessness, and the indifference are beyond disappointing--they are DISGUSTING. As someone with experience working in multiple daycares and schools, I know that if a 3-year-old refuses to sleep on a cot, you don't allow them to lay on a cold, dirty floor like an animal. You comfort them, you redirect them, and you provide care. The fact that this didn't happen is a complete failure on your part. Even a dog gets a bed. My son deserved far better than this. And yes, I will say it--had Leonardo not been a young Black boy, I believe this situation may have been handled with more compassion and urgency. He was neglected. There's no other word for it. Let me ask you this: How would you feel if you found out your child took a nap on the cold floor? Or picking him up wet and not exactly given an actual clear explanation ? If he was uncomfortable, if he was upset, if something happened--WHY wasn't I called? As his mother, I should have been informed immediately. Instead, he was left in that condition, and no one took responsibility. This is not just poor care. This is unacceptable. This is disgusting. This is neglect. Leonardo will NOT be returning to your center. I will also be reporting this incident to corporate and taking further steps as necessary. I expect a written explanation, not excuses. Do better!!!!! This is my review and what happened to my child

His teachers have been phenomenal and so patient with him. Special thanks to Mariah and Diamond who had him in toddlers, Amy in Twos and Alyssa and Rachel in EP. Our son needed Birth to 3 services and all of the teachers adopted the strategies needed to help our son grow and thrive. They were even flexible with us about our continued enrollment after summer 2023 which gave us options as we planned for our son's transition to Pre-k and allowed us to breath a little. Sarah, your leadership and your leadership team are truly exceptional and I wish you, Alex and Liz continued success.

My younger son asks to go to school every morning! They adore their teachers, and I feel safe and confident with them in their care. The KinderCare curriculum has worked wonders for both of my children! My older son was prepared for Kindergarten even as the youngest child in his class he was able to have a successful year. My younger son blows us away with the things he knows! Even our pediatrician was amazed at his vocabulary at 18 months! I would highly recommend this childcare center!

Cindy and all her teachers were wonderful with the children. The only thing I can say about not receiving phone calls is that it can get pretty hectic with all the kids, teachers, parents, etc. trying to speak, pay their bills and collect all their children's supplies / projects. It is unfortunate that not all of the applicants aren't accepted. I can only suggest you give it a try, and hopefully your child will enjoy it as much as my granddaughter & her parents did.

I can't speak to the the quality of care for the children as my daughter was never enrolled. She…read morewasn't enrolled, however, because of the poor management and organization of this establishment. After a tour of the facility back in April for September enrollment we informed Cindy we were interested and she said she'd provide the paperwork to sign up. I gave her the benefit of the doubt after not hearing anything for weeks as I assumed the end of the school year through June would be hectic. I then reach out via email and hear nothing for a few more weeks. After three weeks, I finally receive a call from Cindy informing me the spot had been filled as she was waiting to hear from my wife and I regarding the enrollment. Are you kidding? If that were that case, then why not reach out to us before filling a spot? Why not provide a simple call or email or anything? She says it was our fault for telling her we needed to think about it during the tour as this was on her notes. I can assure you she took no notes during our visit nor did she even remember my child's name when she called. As you tour the facility and speak to Cindy just ask yourself is this person organized? Is the place well run? Again, I can't speak to the care of the children here, but, after this experience I will be sure to keep away. I don't trust a disorganized person to manage the care of my child, the most precious thing in my life. I'll search elsewhere. You might want to as well.

I wish I could give them zero stars. I sent my children to…read moreCountry Kids for a year and a half. Unfortunately, Cadence Education purchased Country Kids during that time and turned it into an incredible mess. I am aware of 4 other kids in my children's classroom who switched to the Goddard School in the last month. These are my reasons for our switch and why I would NEVER recommend Country Kids Cadence Education. 1. The Cadence administration does not care about the teachers and some of the teachers seem extremely unhappy. It felt upsetting to leave my children with a teacher who seemed visibly angry and unhappy. The head teacher for my children often did not say hello to my children when they arrived or acknowledge they were dropped off. She seemed extremely stressed and upset on a daily basis - not a great fit for a room full of three year olds. I do not blame this teacher since it was clear she was not being supported by the Cadence administrators running the school. On one of our last days, she was the only teacher in the room at drop off with approximately 15 children and she was on the phone trying to get help from someone in the office. 2. The teachers repeatedly complained to me that they do not have the support they need from the Cadence administration to properly take care of the children. There are not enough floaters so kids can't be taken to the bathroom if they have an accident. On 2 occasions when my 3 year old had an accident. I was called by the teacher and asked to come to the school due to not having a change of clothes. When I arrived, there was an available change of clothes and my child had been sitting in her soiled pants since the call was made 30 minutes earlier. The teacher informed me that the office was not answering her calls for help, they did not have enough teachers to help my child get cleaned up, and that my 3 year old should be able to clean herself up after an accident. 3. They are unable to retain teachers as employees. In a three month period, four teachers that my children were familiar with quit and told me they were leaving due to how awful Cadence treated them. On our last day at Cadence, a teacher confided to me that Cadence has recently hired a high school student who did not seem qualified for the job. 4. From age 2 until 3 1/2 my children switched rooms 3 times. The teachers in each of these rooms never helped my children to clean their faces (or guide them how to clean their own faces) properly after lunch and my kids would have food all over their faces each day when I picked them up at 5:30. This meant they had ketchup and other grime all over their faces for hours while they slept and played. 5. The teachers repeatedly told me that my children's room was supposed to have direct access to a toilet in the room and mentioned it was against the state guidelines that they did not. 6. The teachers and administration do not communicate with the parents about upcoming events like parent-teacher conferences, theme days, or if my kids took a nap or anything specific about their day. All communication about a child's day is copied and pasted for each child in the room and no individual details about my children were shared through their app. 7. When we decided to stop daycare with Cadence and move them to Goddard, Cadence assured me of the final amount I would be charged. They then overcharged me and have not provided me with a refund or a final accounting. Speaking with anyone by phone or any of the teachers is a constant chain of blaming each other and then blaming the overall administration. Due to these issues, I strongly discourage parents from sending their children to Cadence's Country Kids in Brookfield.

Rozetta, Felicia, Chris and Diane are all amazing with my son, caring for him as if he were their own. He has flourished while under their supervision and is even starting to walk early.. They are on top of safe sleep and AAP recommendations for illness, introducing solids and overall feeding so I never have to worry (especially as a first time parent). They have a 3 to 1 ratio in the infant room which is better than anywhere else I've seen. I toured many facilities before choosing Country Kids and am very happy with my decision, as is my son. Additionally, they have handled everything from COVID-19 to a week-long power outage this year with great leadership and clear communication. They are taking health safety very seriously and I have been very happy with the steps they've taken to keep our kids safe.

They're still employed after physically harming children. Do not enroll your child. The care my child while enrolled in the twos classroom has been unacceptable. As an educator, your job is to teach, manage emotions, redirect, and provide language to those who do not have it. My child was dealt with aggression by his teachers in the twos classroom. They belittle, mishandle and sometimes ignore the children. I saw on live video, One of the teachers blocked her face with her hand, while a child was crying in front of her. I understand challenging behaviors can be frustrating but it's never your job to apply force to anyone's kid. If your goal isn't to make a difference in the early stages of development, then this is not the place for you and you should not be working with kids of any age group. There are teachers who witness this treatment and do not speak up. The twos classroom consists of Andreana Stevenson, Angelique Clark and Jasmin Cardona. Sometimes Chantal is in these classrooms and she also should not be around children, she has fallen asleep while on the clock. The cameras aren't monitored enough by management, they do not pop into classes enough.
