I was just getting over a sickness and got my appetite back and with it, I had a craving. A craving for onion rings. Not just any onion rings, but ones from Burger King. Unfortunately there aren't very many left in the city, and you have to drive to find one. This one is one of the nicer ones. Big and spacious on the inside complete with an indoor play area. And amazingly this location is spotless. Clean from top to bottom. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food...average at best. But what can you say about fast food. I was able to satisfy my craving, that's what counts. The most interesting thing about the place is the fancy soda machine. All touchscreen with everything in it from sparkling water to Powerade. With a tap of the screen you can add a flavoring. All in all, I was happy I stopped here. Will I come back? Eventually, but it's not going to be a daily thing.

We called Burger King. I asked for a manager. I explained the problem with the missing burger. She offered to add me to her book so that I would get the free burger the next time I came into the store. She further suggested the problem was likely the driver's fault because her "bosses were expediting orders." I find this preposterous and I believe that she was just trying to use Door Dash as a scapegoat. So, based on this experience, I believe that Burger King has not improved in any way. The food has not gotten better nor has the service. If I could have given this Burger King less than a 1 star, I certainly would have.

We have been eating Primanti's since the early 70's when the only place I knew of at the time was the strip district. Then several more popped up in all the right places. I am not as fond of the restaurant style they have now moved into, I still like the quick shop for a sandwich. The restaurant don't offer the quick service that the small sandwich shops do. It is nice to have a choice when you have kids with you. The North Versailles is my least favorite, but it is the closest. The service is good here, but time from taking order to receiving isn't all that great. Monroeville isn't bad, either, slow service. I still prefer the Strip District. They closed my favorite on Cherry Way, downtown, for a more of restaurant location in Market Square, just isn't the same. The location in Oakland on campus is hard to get to when you can't find a parking space. For the most part we have received a good sandwich, every now and then the bead was cut to small or the slaw was to over powering. For the most part it has been consistent. We have never had other restaurant foods either than the sandwiches. I have been meaning to try the pizza fest, but not as of now. Something about the fries and slaw on the sandwich makes it for me. I like the Genoa & Cheese, The Roast Beef and the Pastrami. Other family members have gone for the When Pigs Fly. I do like trying the new creations for the Penguins. I've noticed these changes since shopping here since 2019 & this location has made huge leaps & bounds by offering what I've just mentioned recently. My shopping experiences have improved in checkout efficiency. Even full service checkout has a little improvement as I've observed 3-4 checkout lanes open recently vs 1 lane more backed up then Pittsburgh tunnel traffic at rush hour. Checkout experiences will vary as some cashiers have knowledge pertaining to non-traditional payments like Healthy Benefits (United Health OTC/Grocery benefit) or store credit card. Eight times out of 2 my checkout experiences have been efficient & reasonably quick while offering satisfactory customer service. Associates strive to assist customers in other areas throughout this store. Each dept offers only essentials within merchandise selections. If your sewing auto or home improvement projects involve beyond their selections of your needs. Go elsewhere. Store cleanliness remains above average; they could stand to maintain their restrooms better & dressing rooms with less items & other clutter left inside. Shopping areas seem to be maintained well as I didn't see any problems with the floors furnishings or anything filthy for that matter. Other service offered on premises is their TLE (Tire Lube Express) offering basic maintenance services from tire repair oil chances along with other selected car maintenance services.
