Wentworth Antiques centre is situated on Cortworth Lane, in the serene village of Wentworth on the outskirts of Barnsley and Rotherham. Set in a cluster of stone built barns the centre is delightful. In the various little outhouses, previously stables, there is a selection of small crafters business ranging from wrought iron work to high class soft furnishings. In the main building on the higher level can be found a maze of individual rooms displaying the items for sale from various dealers, who all rent the space. Downstairs, again all items ranging from large pieces of furniture to small items of collectables and jewellery are offered for sale by different people. To relax after what can become hours of browsing as everything is so intriguing, the visits can be brought to a close in the warm and friendly coffee shop. read more
