Somehow, just the sandwich cost less than the burger and fries and pop? So we just get the combo, whatever. The sandwiches come out with one piece of bacon total, in the bun, burnt and clearly a frozen pre-formed patty. I returned my food and pointed out that the bun was present and the bacon was 1/2 missing. He proceeded to throw my burned burgers back on the grill to presumably heat them up so he could slap on another piece of cheese and ripped the one piece of bacon in half and dumped everything into a cup. The poor cashier complained that the cook and the owner don't care about the customer and that even though it says 2 pieces of bacon, they will only put 1 on it. Although she offered the business owner's card, she said I can call him tomorrow. Unfortunately we are from out of town so it's not going to do any good, I'm sure.

They cater to a younger audience than a couple of the older breakfast places do. It's now my favourite breakfast place in Woodstock. The menu has a lot of variety in it. They offer weekday specials as well. The management has safety protocols in place due to COVID (screens between the tables), and they wipe the tables and chairs down carefully between customers. They also seem to be well staffed, but the restaurant gets busy. Also note that it gets loud in here.

I am giving a 3 star rating because while it was a 4/4.5 star meal, a waitress spilled a kettle of liquid on my back as she walked by. Thankfully the liquid wasn't hot. I know it was accident and the staff was very apologetic, but it definitely put a damper on my visit.

There is an outside patio, and a large open interior space - definitely a bit of a biergarden feel to it. You go to the bar to order your food and drinks, and tell the server where you are sitting. They then bring the food out to you. Let's talk about the food! More specifically, let's talk about the poutine! I'm not Canadian, but I have had poutine before - and theirs might be the best I have ever had. The gravy was amazing, you could tell they add beer when they are making it. I also tried their regular cheeseburger - cooked perfectly, juicy, and delicious. If I hadn't had the poutine, I'd give it high marks for the burger alone. Don't sleep on this place, it's great. Now, I don't consume alcohol, so I can't comment on the quality of their beer - but my work colleague said it was very good. I did try their vanilla soda - and it was really good. High marks all around!
