Someone came into my work with their dog and it was cut real nice so I asked who did it and they game me Wendys name. I made and appointment. When I walked in they greeted us and greeted our dogs. They even came out and petted and talked to them. Talked to us and really made a good impression. I totally trusted leaving my dogs there. They came out beautiful. And the price was very reasonable. First time (and likely repeat) customer! We just moved to the surrounding area and our old groomers (which we think highly of) would've been a 40 minute drive. We've come to love the previous one and the thought of trusting our furbaby with new hands is always daunting. So naturally, we Googled all of the local groomers, read reviews, looked at photos, and most importantly, read all of the 1-star reviews... and thought... let's give this place a try. Our groomer, Jamie (I think that was her name), was very detailed! Asked all the important questions since everyone's got their own preference. My boy and girl maltese came home dashing as ever! And let me tell you, the girl one rarely comes out looking feminine. Jamie was able to give her a new do and youthful girly vibes. Both dogs came home with adorable handkerchiefs, too! I had been taking my doodles to a different groomer but recently they had been booked up so I thought I'd try Wendy's. Big mistake. I took my dogs there three times and each time they tried to tell me my dogs had mats. I know this isn't true because I combed them myself to make sure. My first dog they said had mats and shaved him all the way down. The second dog they tried and I showed them I could run a comb through her hair just fine. The next time they pulled it again but called before shaving her down and they got nasty when I said I didn't want her shaved. I took her to another groomer that afternoon and gave her a beautiful haircut. I'll never go there again and do not recommend these lazy people who can't be bothered to do a job right. read more

I was trying to find a new place to take my pup since I heard about neglect from the last place I had taken her and took a shot at Wendy's. Walking into their store, I immediately thought how cute is this place! They had so many accessories for sale. Cute dog collars for only 5$. Clothes, etc. once the lady checked me in and wrote down my dogs information she grabbed the groomer who came out and kneeled with my dog and asked if there was anything they needed to know about her and ask me if there was anything specific I wanted done for her which made me so comfortable m, because at the other place I had taken her they just took her down this long hallway and I never actually saw the grooming facility. Her groomer also told me that they wouldn't put my dog in a kennel, only if it was necessary which only was for a few minutes which was a relief to me. When I picked up lily, she looked perfect, and on our way out the receptionist told us she is welcome back anytime cuz she's a good girl. They were all so nice and welcoming, I can't wait to take her back! read more

I made an appt for 3 dogs I was in the hospital and missed the appt. the woman (being nice by calling her a woman) that answers the phone that left a nasty message on my recorder said you're a no call no show can not see you're pets. So I called and explained being that I did not call to cancel the appt (being I was in the hospital) my pets are not allowed to go there and it was our first time to go there. I'm good. It's obvious no one taught this woman customer service and any manners. I agree with the other girl that left feedback about being unprofessional. Never been there but they say blessings come in disguise. I am so glad my babies didn't go here. My pets don't need the stress !! *** owner did call me and was understanding. And did say I could bring my fur babies there but since I was a no call no show would have to pay a $25.00 no show fee. My dogs have not ever been to this groomer before and my health is more important to me at this moment. So any type of stress I need to avoid. But I thanked her for the call. read more

Just took my Two doxins to get nail trims..... They are doing curbside right now, so we waited in the car. They took our first dog inside, and we heard him Yelp from outside a couple times... not thinking much of it cause our dogs absolutely hate nail cuts. She brought him out, blood on his leash and all over his two back paws. Telling us to mix corn starch and baking powder with water to stop the bleeding... I asked if they put anything on it and she with very little patience said UGH YES.... So dummy me, handed her my second dog to give a nail trim. As I'm sitting in the car with my husband and first pup that got cut, the bleeding wasn't stopping!!! Now it's all over my hand and clothes. I'm standing at the window, waiting for this lady to come back out... finally comes out with my second dog and I hand her the first one and tell her the bleeding hasn't stopped. No apology or anything just takes him inside... then I notice our other dog is cut also!!!! My husband and I both went inside and asked what the issue is! Not only were they both bleeding but she didn't mention that when she handed us back our second dog, and also they didn't finish cutting his nails anywyas.. probably cause they noticed they have no clue what they are doing. I totally understand these things happen, but the lack of respect for your customers... so disgusting. Obviously we will not be back, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

This is my first time going to Wendy's and let me tell you I am OBSESSED! The last groomer I went to would cage our dog while she groomed her other dogs, this groomers let her stay out and run around with the other dogs, I LOVED that! I also loved that she actually groomed her how I wanted to, my dog is a mini Aussie and I have always wanted to trim her ear hairs and leg hairs, my last groomer said you shouldn't do that with this breed, I'm not sure why? Because I have seen so many aussies with a hair cut, when I asked Wendy's to do that they had no problem and she came back looking absolutely beautiful, like a totally different dog!!! Wendy has been grooming my dog for a decade and now that she has her own shop her staff has continued to take excellent care of my dog and new puppy and they always come out looking wonderful. She takes care to make sure the dogs are groomed in a timely fashion and allows the friendly and healthy dogs to hang out in a supervised play room before grooming instead of keeping them locked up in cages. Because of this my dogs don't mind being taken to get groomed, at previous groomers my 13yr old dog would shake and shiver when she saw where she would be going. Wendy and her staff really love the animals that they groom and are really talented groomers. Couldn't recommend them higher, and I believe that they do other pets too! read more

I went in to take my very small 2 pound Yorkie to get groomed. They only give you an appointment time and will call you when pet is ready. I receive a phone call about 3 hours after my set appointment time that my yorkie was ready to be picked up. During that phone call the owner stated that I was being charged extra because it took them longer than usual to groom my pet and that my pet was acting really bad and upset. It is not stated in their policy, on their website or in store that there are extra charges in those cases. I felt that was very unprofessional and unfair being that they are groomers dealing with all types of sizes and animal personalities daily. Upon me coming in to pick him up she states "people thought we were back there killing him." Mind you my puppy is very small and non intimidating. They made me feel very embarrassed and blamed for the way my puppy behaved. All pets are not the same and this is also new for my puppy being the fact he is a baby and only 4 months old. Terrible customer service in regards to that, completely unfair! I will never bring my pet back there to get groomed. read more
