I ordered two croissant breakfast sandwiches at this location, but they told me they only had enough croissant bread for one and substituted a biscuit for the other. It seemed like they didn't want to open a new bag of croissants just for my order, because I saw the staff and the manager discussing it, especially since breakfast hours were almost over. I can understand that situation. However, the biscuit is about 30 cents cheaper than the croissant, and no one mentioned anything about the price difference or offered an adjustment. It's a small amount, but it still made me feel a bit unfairly treated. I am writing to let you know I had very poor service and horrible food quality at your facility at: 14303 Bear Valley Road, Victorville, CA 92392 On Monday Aug 3,2026 Started bad from beginning, walked up to oder counter and could not find menu, electronic menu board was black with main menu items, only screen with sides was lit up. The kid came to take order and in attitude asked harshly, " What would you like", I answered back a menu. He through a laminated copy of menu across the counter. Ordered two #1 single combos with cheese and a chicken fingers kids meal. After waiting over ten minutes with empty store, asked about order, the kid said I will get to it in minute. He place fry's in bag and set on counter, then retrieved burgers which were on counter near preparing table, he placed in bag, then said give me a few minutes to get drinks. I took bag to my family and went back to get drinks which were still not ready. I had to ask for them. Then they got the two diet cokes and a milk off the counter. It had been so long milk on counter was warm. They also were playing music so loud inside that you could not cleanly communicate with employees, if fact my grandson was covering his ears! Got back to table and the fries were stale and ice cold, the burgers were ice cold and meat way over cooked, was dry like hockey players puck. The chicken fingers were also ice cold and way over cooked. I understand price are high due to inflation but $31.00 for this horrible service and quality is ridiculous. No manger could be found? Really nice restaurant. The place is very clean. Only one bathroom works, no key needed. There's two kiosks you can order from or you can talk to a real person. I ordered online via their app and unfortunately they didn't have some items I had paid for. There was also a mix up in orders because it just so happens that someone with my initials was also picking up an order so they gave her my order and vice versa but it was quickly resolved. On top of all that, the operator asked me to park out front for my food AFTER I PAID, which is an attempt at cheating their wait time meter in order to make up for a lack of preparation. Although the folks seemed nice that worked there, I unfortunately didn't have much of a positive experience. I made a mobile order which I thought would help from getting any errors int order. I stood there patiently for my order as I saw it on the screen as it said it was being made..I continued to wait and watch my order disappear from the screen. So I asked the employee there about my order as other orders have been given out and she asks my name..I give it and it wasn't even being made yet. *sigh* Finally it's made but our Large fries are missing and I let an employee there be aware of it ..I think he was a manager. He said he was right on it. So I continue to stand and wait and eat while waiting..still no fries. At that point my "free" large fries I ordered never came to be and I just about gave up. He had completely forgotten me and I was just fed up from waiting and it just wasn't worth my time anymore. My kids got their mini frosties and are given them but after the employees give them their sweet treat, they immediately walk away without giving them spoons. How does one eat a frosty without spoons?! So we have to go back to the counter to ask for something that should have been given in the first place? My family wasn't happy though..it just felt off with our sandwiches. The buns tasted stale..I can understand the whole lettuce shortage but the buns were dry and stale tasting. Now here's the reason I rate this place low. It is clean and many of the times I go there. The food is fresh and I never had a problem with that. Here is my problem. I have a large family so when we eat out we use lots of coupons. Wendy's up here used to accept expired coupons but I guess they have gotten tired of me using coupons that they change their policies on the spot. They said no more expired coupons and I was good with it. So I use my newer coupons and we were good. They then said no more then two but they can do it on separate orders which I was good with. But I guess they got tired of that also. I order part of my food through the app so I don't have to bother them with so many coupons and frankly I get a little embarrassed also but when you have 5 kids you try to save where you can. So I ordered part through the app and was going to order the rest in store where again another policy change at this store said I was no longer to use two maximum . This employee is a cool guy. I knew him before he got the manager position even shook his hand when I would see him but I guess I was too much of a hassle to deal with. He told me that the policy changed at this store and that he would only take two coupons. I would have left right there to a more friendly Wendy's but keep in mind I already made partial order through the mobile app. I prefer them telling me "We don't want to deal with you and your coupons" rather then changing policies on me on the spot making me look stupid because they don't like that I use coupons and don't want to deal with it. Mixed emotions about this location honestly. For the most part the employees are kind of rude & don't listen. They take forever in the drive thru sometimes. The young person at the window "slid" my card and and said it was declined (it wasn't, bank said it was fine), but even if it wasn't, I handed cash and the change was forcibly handed in waded up $1s. Today around 12:50PM my boyfriend and kids went to have lunch at this location. They went to get refills and he slipped and fell on his back, besides him hurting his back he had to deal with employees negligence. Not one employee went to go help or ask if he was ok or needed help, instead a couple who were also customers help him. Worst experience ever. I had a door dash order I was picking up. The person working the window was incompetent. Don't know if he was having a bad day. The order I had came with three large drinks, he put them in a drink tray and handed them to me through the window. As he handed them, I suggested giving them to me one by one, as I noticed they where to darn on heavy for the drink carrier. He proceeded to hand them to me, all three large drinks spilled on me in my car. He was unapologetic, the other person working the window offered me a frosty, for the mishap. Was disappointed today with our Wendy's food. We try to eat out to support our local restaurants. It was not busy at this location upon arrival. My husband and I both had our masks on as well as the employees. My husband and I ordered a meal combo and we were not offered the free frosties for his or my combo meal. He did request a frosty however he was charged. The biggest disappointment was the burgers, the lettuce was old and the burgers were as if they had been reheated and almost burnt, rather then grilled upon ordering. Tasted terrible. I've been to this Wendy's a lot and every time I check my food and there's always something missing or wrong. I would've thought they'd remember my face how many times they've messed up my order. I work in the same parking lot and decided to walk there on my lunch(1min walk) (30min lunch) once again screwed my order up. So I was waiting for my replacement burger everyone else in line getting their food so I asked what's going on and the lady looked at me dumbfounded and told someone in the back to start my order. This is 20 min into my lunch and my fries are cold and nuggets too I asked for my money back and left. We stopped in to grab some hamburgers and was not very happy overall. The restaurant was like an icebox and extremely uncomfortable. Then the cashier, Stephanie, was rude and never smiled. We asked for the key to the restroom and without speaking at all she walked to the other side of the counter and grabbed the key then proceeded to walk to the restroom. We had to assume she was gonna let us in. My daughter was on crutches so by time we made it to the restroom, Stephanie was once again irritated. This is a nice restaurant. One of the things I always notice is how it is always clean in there. The staff are always very friendly and you can see that they want to help their guests. I order my burgers a particular way and they have never made a mistake while making them. Their fountain drinks are always very good and they have a big selection of drinks to choose from. Their frosty's are very good too. You can pick from chocolate or vanilla. Lately we have been getting the 4 for $4 deal. A small fry, 4 chicken nuggets, a small drink and your choice of a Jr. bacon Cheeseburger or a chicken sandwich, both of which are small compared to the normal burger or sandwiches. Still, not a bad deal! You really can't go wrong with Wendy's. Great food, great service and a grear value. read more
