The radio commercials for the Meal of Misfortune worked on me and got me thinking Halloween so for $11.48 I had my order placed at the drive through. The Meal of Misfortune comes with custom packaging, with writings on the bag and containers, and a "Spoon of Gloom". The meal includes the "Rest in 10-Piece" nuggets (regular or spicy), "Cursed and Crispy Fries," and a "Raven's Blood Frosty" (chocolate or vanilla with dark cherry swirl). The fries were some of the best I've had in recent memory, crispy crunchy outside soft inside. Seemed to be a larger size. The nuggets were excellent, better quality. Only one dipping sauce was provided though I heard you get two. It was very unique; grape jelly in color with an underlying red, and is sticky with a spicy kick. There are 4 different types. The Frosty was the highlight and those whose life on this Earth depends on having a frosty when the need arises will not be disappointed. I never had one taste this good ever before, anywhere. Dave Thomas, founder, wanted a dessert that was a mixture of a thick milkshake and fluffy, creamy soft-serve ice cream. The consistency and texture are the key differences between a traditional milkshake and a Frosty. And the ingredients are very good, I checked before ordering. Very good window service. read more

They were friendly, helpful and deserve a livable wage that comes from the inflated salaries of BlackRock and The Vanguard Group execs and not the consumer. The food was as expected (not good but better than Carl's Jr). Zero stars for quality and warmth and the portion sizes are not what they once were The atmosphere at Black Rocks corporate office the day after Shane T visited were more welcoming than this location. In closing this place is a scam, the employees are amazing and I only went here because my kids didn't believe they had square burgers. I went through the drive-thru and when I got home, I realized that my order was completely wrong. There was also no receipt included with my order, so I had no way to easily verify the charges or what was supposed to be in the bag. I went back to the restaurant to complain and ask for my money back. Since it was toward the end of the day, I was told that the restaurant was closed and that I should go through the drive-thru instead. When I asked for a refund, they refunded most of my money in cash but kept $10 from my card, saying that there were items from the order that I had not returned. That was not my understanding of the situation, and I felt that I was being treated unfairly. At that point I was with my son, who became upset and asked me to just leave, so I decided not to argue further. Another thing that really concerned me was the cleanliness and food-handling situation I witnessed. When I went to the door, I saw employees sweeping the floor, and then I saw an employee with what appeared to be dirty hands handling/giving out drive-thru orders. That was very concerning to me from a hygiene standpoint. The drive-thru was still open until 1:00 AM, so I also don't understand why customers were being turned away from the restaurant and sent to the drive-thru for a complaint/refund. Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating: wrong order, no receipt, a refund that didn't match what I expected, and serious concerns about cleanliness/food handling. I hope management looks into what happened and takes customer service and hygiene more seriously. I would not recommend this location based on my experience. read more

But let me be clear, I am not talking about all Wendy's fries, just THIS LOCATION. I sent back my first batch of fries cause they were dark brown and tasted bitter and icky. They said they would make us a new batch. Bring a new one a couple minutes later and I swear they just refried a batch cause it was the same thing. You have to try their fries. They changed something for the better. Hot and crispy like when I was a kid. They maybe using beef talo to fry in because these are amazing. Not the limp fries they use to have. If you grew up in the 70's and 80's and remember how fries use to taste before the vegan's had a melt down about the frying oil had beef in it and everyone changed because a few snowflakes were upset that a burger joint has beef in its fries and all the fries went limp after that when they changed their oil. I've been here 3-4 times. The quality of the food is always fine, but lately the speed of service and the quality of service is poor. I feel like the staff is distracted and I had to repeat my order a few times even when they weren't that busy. You have to ask for utensils or straws. (I'm guessing people are stealing them? Unsure why.) I noticed they gave out multiple frosties with the lids barely on/leaking. Didn't have lettuce on my sandwich that normally comes with it. I love Wendy's and this is the only one in this area, so it's kind of a trade off of getting what you want to eat but dealing with poor service. We got there and it seemed pretty hectic, despite only having like 5 costumers outside and 3 in the drive through. Took us 30-45 minutes to get FAST food. It has fast in the name because its supposed to be QUICK! Then they got our order wrong and we needed to get it fixed. But, since the staff was so unorganized they couldn't understand what they had gotten wrong. The manager at the time (red hair, older woman, latina) Was extremely rude to my friend despite their staff getting our order wrong and not even writing down one if my friends names on their order.
