Waited inside a long time only to get a partially wrong and partially warm order. Wendy's service has slipped a lot over the years.

We arrived I. The lobby to order just past 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Lobby was empty. Drive thru was empty. 5 staff members visible inside. One couple in front of us ordering. They did seem to be having some difficulty u der standing the menu or making decisions, not sure which. I waited patiently while the young lady taking their order seemed to put their whole order together slowly. Not sure what the other 4 staffers were occupied with as no activity was visibly happening. Two guys walked in behind me after about 10 minutes. Couple in front of me got their order and refused the sandwiches so we started all over again. No one even made eye contact or said hello, no "I'll be with you in a minute." Nada! I felt it was completely a prejudice issue and no one was going to wait on the white couple. We obliged with what they obviously wanted and left. Plenty of other burger joints in the area. Don't bother trying to get something to eat here. If you are white, no service. If you are other, poor service. Snake eyes whatever you roll. read more

I sat in line for 10 minutes to get my mobile order. I would drive off but I paid $25 for this order, I should be able to get this resolved without 15 minutes. Would not answer the call station. This Wendy's needs a corporate correction. No photos, still have not gotten my order. read more

Refused to take orders and it smell like weed on the inside. Told me they are understaffed but I see 8 people on the inside just talking with each other. read more

The Wendy's on Richmond road Monticello is horrible. It has went down over the years. I used to take my children to this location all the time I will never go there again. Today I took my grandson and son to have lunch. The line seemed to be moving rather quickly until the man in front of us had to wait it seems like for eternity to order. The cashier obviously didn't have a problem with the men she was waiting on but when we were next in line she took her sweet time taking our order. She was rude, unprofessional and had a horrible attitude problem. Why work if you don't want to do your job. We got inside of Wendy's at 2:15 p.m. and didn't leave this pathetic establishment until almost 3:00 p.m. workers were coming from behind the counter holding conversations with the staff as if they were customers. The Manager was on the phone and didn't care how quickly customers were being taken care of it's obvious they don't value their customers. I refuse to spend my money at a place that doesn't value my time or service. Drive thru was backed up as well. They were all on their phones during company time how ridiculous. Do you're self a huge favor don't go here the service and wait are really bad. Everyone had attitudes and was no help at expediting service this Wendy's is a huge joke. I will be contacting corporate as well to let them know how poor their establishment is being ran. Dissatisfied customer waste of time and money read more

no add ons at window. woman was trying to take my order so fast she missed an item. over 5 minutes sitting at the speaker box. everytime its multiple somethings with this place. read more

-5 stars is the only accurate rating this place deserves. I tried to order a double baconator with no cheese and no mayo. They gave us a single, WITH cheese and mayo. We told them it was wrong but the extremely rude girl at the drive thru insisted we ordered a single....we did not. She said they couldn't remake it because we didn't order a double. We did, it was her mistake for putting in the order wrong. We just pulled off because I'm not gonna argue with some lazy teen who's gonna lie to my face. Based off the other reviews I see about this location this is a common theme here when they make a mistake. I'm the least "Karen" person in the world, but don't give me and my wife Attitude when you screwed up in the first place. Her attitude was completely unacceptable and I am Never ever going back to this joke of a location again. Stay away!!! read more

Service is awful. Employees are slow and incredibly rude!! Will never come back to this location!

I would rate this a 0 star but it won't let me do that. This one girl completely messed up my order and started arguing with me saying i was the one who messed it up. I knew exactly what i said. She was yelling at me. The food is messed up. She slammed the window in my face after completely arguing and yelling at me. I was apologizing before saying the order was wrong and i'm not trying to be an inconvenience but I am paying money to them for my food and i would love for it to be right. I am never going to this wendy's ever again. The worst drive thru experience i've EVER had. read more

Horrible service and management. They have a large poster on their window advertising sandwiches they don't have. Rude employees when I asked about their false advertising. I will not go back to this Wendy's ever again. read more

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Spent almost $20 on breakfast here only to get home and be disgusted. Ordered 3 Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits and they were HORRIBLE. The chicken was old and hard and the biscuit tasted stale. I had to spit it out and throw it away. Ordered seasoned fries as well which were undercooked. Only thing we consumed were the lemonades. I Will never return to this location. read more

Worse Wendy's in Ohio...The girl with the orange hair that worked the drive through window tonight at 7:45 pm had the worse attitude ever...When you asked her questions, she cut you off she doesn't let you complete your order, she smack her lips with a attitude while your talking, she speaks with a nasty attitude and the food fits her attitude...It was gross, cold, and the fries were very old and just threw back in the grease...Whomever trained her did a horrible job...One of the worse experiences ever read more

Unbelievably bad experience. Pulled in to the drive they line at 2:30 PM, due to size of the line it took 20 minutes to get to the speaker. Sat at speaker another 5 minutes. The employee simply says "we ain't takin no more order's " i ask why not ? "We ain't takin no more orders " all the lights were on and cars were 6 to 8 deep behind me. No apology No explanation. Wendy's you either are hiring garbage or your training is. read more

4/4/21 pull up at 9:03 a.m. and by 905 still haven't had anyone say anything on the intercom. I bail and ok the way out I see the same car sitting at the pickup window that I saw from the road when I was pulling in. Just shut this location down until you can staff it with robots. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. The last 2 times I've went to this location, no one ever answers or greets me on the intercom. 2 weeks ago, I waited 20 minutes in the breakfast line before I had to pull off to make it to work on time. Only 2 cars were in front of me. You would think they would ask the first car to pull over as to not hold up the line. Then, I stopped at 8:45 this morning and made 2 circles passing by the intercom and the service window trying to catch a staff members attention but it was a ghost town. No one ever even acknowledged me. It's sad that Wendy's customer service has taken such a tremendous dive over the last 5 years. I strongly feel something needs to be done in terms of the training system to turn this franchise around. read more

I just ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that had no tomato! I asked where is the tomato? Mine you this is the manger I spoke with. He said we don't have any. The service goes down when the sun does. This Wendy's is "supposed" to be opened until 1AM. The lights are off by 9 pm, the worker taking your order is off to- doesn't greet you just talks at you. If you don't like your job....why do we bother with this place !!?? read more

This is the worst conceivable restaurant that exists in the Cleveland area hands down. Go in on a Saturday and theres nobody in the restaurant except for the three people waiting to get food they ordered ages ago. The drive thru doesnt budge. Thers 5 people working but they're not really working. Just kind of staring off into space. Keep driving.... read more

Use to be really good. Not anymore. Screwed up my order two days in a row. Slow drive thru. They need better help.

Would give zero stars. I've tried to go twice. I thought the first was a dinner rush and gave up after 15 min in line. This time I went in the afternoon- waited over 30 min to get to the speaker. Sat for another 5 (even after saying hello twice and being told to "hold on"). Then pulled up as the car ahead of me was leaving and waited again. There were at least 5 people walking around not doing anything (and they had the doors locked because I watch 2 people try to go in while in line). They seem to only do one cars order at a time and even with that they do it incredibly slow. I've never been to such a slow and inefficient drive through. I know I will never go again. read more

I literally had the worst experience. I went through the drive thru at 11pm with a friend and we got to the window to get our food and after the man gave us our food, I said have a nice day. But his response was "oh I'm trying to, do you want to help me with that?", giving me a blank stare. Me, as a underage girl, said um no and drove away. It really gave me the impression that he must have been taking something at work. read more

This is worst drive threw in the world. Waited 30 minutes for the wrong order and it was cold. The owner needs to fire everyone and close the doors I was there April 30th 2022 at 2pm. read more

Don't go, 90% of the time the employees are just standing in there doing nothing. They always say they aren't taking orders at that time. I can't believe this place is still open, they need to close the doors and allow something else to be put in there. Terrible, I cannot express that enough. read more

Terrible service. Destiny at the counter moved slow as could be on a busy Saturday night. Decided to stand and hang out rather than take orders. Messed up my order by giving me a sandwich rather than the nuggets and somehow seemed like I inconvenienced her. They took the sandwich and put it right back to pass it along to some unlucky person. Food was so-so even for a Wendys. read more

(This is a review of fast food joint - specifically Wendy's, not to be confused with the finer dining places in the area) I'll step it up a notch because this Wendy's is NOT as ghetto as some I've been in around the 'Heights' area. It also seems like they give two shi%s about the food sent out to customers. Problems in the past have been rectified promptly and even gave us some freebies for the next visit. I guess the only thing I would change would be the parking situation, it gets a little cramped with one of the grocery store exits directly across the street. I will also agree that Wendy's do a great sandwich and as Justin stated: The Spicy Chicken Sandwich consistency is very important to some of us. I'll add the chili as my side and I am one happy camper although the new 'fry' is quite delicious. read more

Baconator. The end. No seriously, though... as far as fast food goes, Wendy's has the highest quality sandwiches in my opinion, and as far as Wendy's Restaurants go, this is one of the better ones. Super friendly staff, and they are a well-oiled machine behind the counter. I'll echo what Kevin said over four years ago (LOL... I can't believe two people have felt compelled to Yelp about a Wendy's)... the consistency of a Spicy Chicken Sandwich is of paramount importance. Always good at this Wendy's. read more

Don't waste your time or money. Practically ignored. Wait time is forever. Take your money to a real restaurant and give to a real local spot that deserves it. I hope Wendy's does a massive overhaul or just closes this place permanently. read more

WORST. WENDYS. EVER! I put the blame solely on the manager for having the store understaffed. Why does it take 20 minutes to get a burger and Frosty? Even at peak times they only have one person taking orders. And when I was there today she had to go back and help the grill staff make burgers. It is rare that anyones order is filled correctly as evidenced by the number of people returning their food. About 50% of the time my food is made incorrectly. When the drive-thru line is out to the street you know that things are running slow. The last time I went there I saw the long line at the counter, turned around and left. Today was my last visit there! read more

This Wendy's takes credit cards, which is a plus. The staff here is very friendly, so they earn an extra star for their attitude and the consistency of the Spicy chicken sandwich (the only thing I ever order). Keep in mind that three stars for a Wendy's means that it is slightly above average for fast food. Not food in general. read more

More like germ central at this place. The food was good (fries and chicken nuggets) but the place was poorly managed. The one trash can near the woman's restroom, near the counter, was somewhat overflowing, everything appears to be dirty near the back of the store, there was unclean restrooms, and the mens' bathroom smell horrible, and only one trash can was overflowing. The interior is old and in need of renovation, which the smell from the restroom spilled right into the lobby area, so avoid coming to this Wendy's because it is dirty. Some of them look like this. If you are out of town or need something in a pinch, AVOID THIS WENDY'S!!! Go to the one in Mayfield Heights instead! read more

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! There is literally 8 ppl working on this shift and it took them 10 before anyone even acknowledged me ... Like who is hiring these ppl.... I've been coming to this Wendy's since the 1990s and its always been just fine, better than the Wendy' I've visiting in NYC and Cincinnati. My order has never been messed up at all, the service is quick and the employees have always been friendly. read more

This is the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. Not only is the drive thru line always a long wait, they messed up my WHOLE order. I didn't realize until I got home. My fiancé ordered the new barbecue chicken sandwich and asked for no onions or pickles. He got onions and pickles on his sandwich with no cheese . Then I ordered a home style asiago chicken sandwich and they gave me a spicy chicken sandwich. I'm not good with spice at all so I couldn't even finish my sandwich after the second bite. It sucks because this is the closes Wendy's to me. This Wendy's will never get another dollar from me. People wait too long and pay too much for your whole damn order to be messed up! read more

sat behind the car in front of me at drive up window for 4 or 5 minutes heard her keep saying hello to the speaker. Finally she said she was going to pull up to window. I pulled up along side of her and she rolled down her window. She told me their speaker wasn't working and she they were taking her order. I backed up and told the people in line which was quite long now that the speaker wasn't working pull up. I am going to call manager and ask them do you or not one of your employees care enough about your customers to take 1 minute and put a note out there saying pull forward. No they let you sit there and get aggrivated waiting so long. I parked and went in to order but didn't like what I saw when I went in. read more

I arrived and the drive through was full so I decided to walk in. I was the only one in the restaurant. 3 employees walked by and didn't acknowledge that I was there.
