That turned into 30 minutes. Thirty minutes for fast food. Not once did anyone apologize, explain the delay, thank me for my patience, or even say, "Have a good night." It was as if wasting a customer's time was completely normal. While I was waiting, I tried to go inside to throw away trash from my car and use the restroom. The restaurant still had an hour before closing, yet the doors were already locked. Locking customers out an hour early while you're still serving the drive-thru is lazy and unacceptable. Then came the food. After a 30-minute wait, the fries were cold. The sweet tea was so hot it had already melted all the ice. How do you manage to serve cold fries after making someone wait half an hour? The entire experience screamed that nobody working there cared about the customers, the food, or the job they were being paid to do. Basic courtesy isn't difficult. A simple apology takes five seconds. Instead, I was treated like I was an inconvenience for expecting the bare minimum. If this is the standard Bojangles is willing to accept, it's no wonder customers choose to spend their money elsewhere. I'll gladly drive past this location next time, because waiting 30 minutes for cold food and being treated with complete indifference isn't worth it.
