Wow, so much hate on this location! I can't say I agree as I've generally had good experiences here. Particularly with covid, this is one of the most convenient drive thru locations in the city and while it can get crowded, it is generally reasonable particularly compared to the always jammed chick-fil-a next door. In addition, I will typically order on the new Wendys app, which has some great offers and is really convenient. They also always get my customizations right from the app. Why 3 stars you ask? Well, I have one beef (no pun intended) with this location. They are literally the closest location to the wells fargo center and they openly refuse the "Frosty Freeze-out" promotion that the sixers do. I was shocked when they would not honor it and give me a pathetically small free frosty (I even ordered other food), when its such a nominal cost. I suppose this promotion and in person sixers games are gone for a bit, but still... it ran for like 2+ years and to not honor it is crazy. read more

I order online. They didn't have my order pulled up to start., not a problem. I told the woman behind the counter no condiments. She had no clue what that was . I told her no ketchup mustard etc. She rolled her eyes tell the cook no condiments. When it was done she threw the bag on the counter. Horrible service put in a mobile order through the app and go to pick it up and wasn't even started. The kid at the counter prints out a slip and I wait for 20 minutes while 4 other people order and get their food before me. I ask where my order is and he laughs and says "Oh this order? Used the drive-thru- they were so rude while ordering (I was as only ordering a Diet Coke) and she made it sound like I was being inconvenient to her. Pulled up to the first window and someone yelled out the window that we had to pull up the next window. About 5 people were working at the second window, carrying their own conversation and all with AirPods in. They opened the window and tossed the soda. Shut the door- and never gave me my card back. There are so many things wrong with this Wendy's. There is a reason why it is rarely a line in the drive-through. Customer service is ass. It is very frustrating trying to order through the app (i know this location has no control over this). They often forget something in your order such as the dressing or a side. Then when you try to bring it up to the staff they are straight up rude. I don't understand why they are so slow when they are no customers waiting in line SMH. I stopped there this evening. The drive through crew was completely unprofessional. No straws were given with my order, nor napkins. The order was missing ingredients to the jr bacon cheeseburger. After a long weekend, I took it upon myself to have a pre-bed time delight. I asked myself "What Would Dave Do?" I went with the classic single with fries, a Dr. Pepper. To my dismay, they were out of Frostys, but alas, I was hungry. I pulled to the window and was greeted with a smile. I was not prepared for what happened next. I unwrapped the familiar silver paper to unveil the most perfectly protected burger. I sunk my teeth into the culinary relic and my serotonin receptors went absolutely mad. The crunch of the onion. That was wasted time! It was 1:45 in the afternoon, and I stopped by to eat-in. After standing in line for 5 minutes, the manager said they weren't taking any orders from the lobby and walked away. Not imagining that they wouldn't take orders from the folks that had already waited. I asked here when she came back 5 minutes later: "Aren't you going to take our orders?" No apology, she just said that the car pickup line was backed up and they weren't going to serve inside. Customer service is very poor. Wendy's does not close until 3am and I got there at two. I went to go place my order and nobody greeted me or told me to wait a couple seconds. I waited a total of 10 minutes before a worker said something to me. They told me they were only taking cash and at that point I drove away because of how upset I was. This Wendy's is really not good. The lady on the headset for the drive through was rlly nice and so was the girl at the first window but the food.... was bad to say the least. I got a medium meal w chicken nuggets and a frosty. The fries were so cold, soggy and limp. I literally could squeeze oil out of the fries they were so saturated and so so soggy. totally inedible. the nuggets were cold and when i got the bottom, my last two were not regular nuggets they were spicy. I really don't like spicy things at all and didn't notice before i ate the first spicy one. it was rlly unpleasant to end the meal with that, so technically i rlly only got 8 nuggets. Basically it just wasn't a good experience. The employees here are pretty much affronted by the prospect of doing anything. They look at you when you walk up to the empty counter like you have 19 heads, roll their eyes, sigh, and ask if they can take your order, while you're clearly still reviewing the options. Then tap impatiently and sigh some more if you take more than 10 seconds to decide what you want. The fries are always cold, the burgers toppings are slapped on haphazardly with ketchup on one corner and a pound of mayo all over. The nuggets are like ice every time I've had them here. Avoid. I visited this new location about a week ago. The staff were all very friendly, seemed to know what they were doing. However during my visit in the early afternoon it was plainly obvious this location was sorely understaffed. Additionally there were several issues with the drinks: the store was completely out of large cups so I could not order a large meal. Then there were no medium lids available in the beverage area - I had to be given a lid from another area of the store. And the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine was nearly empty, having no regular soft drinks and only a few diet flavors available (side note: those Freestyle machines are awful as a customer, and I think they are a particularly poor choice for such a high volume store as this one). 0 out of 5 stars on the drink. Putting aside the issues with the drinks, I had a poor experience with the fries as well. I haven't been to a Wendy's in quite a while, so maybe I don't know, but do you have to ask to have salt on your fries these days? The fries were very bland - if there was any salt added, I couldn't tell. They were also overcooked, which surprised me because the restaurant was very busy when I visited. Perhaps staff was too overworked to stay on top of the fryer, but I was very disappointed with my unsalted, overcooked fries. 1 out of 5 stars on the fries. The one bright spot of the meal was the sandwich - it was excellent, and saved my dining experience from being truly terrible. 5 out of 5 stars on the sandwich. The last thing I'll talk about is pricing - most of the menu, but ESPECIALLY the meal combos are overpriced compared to local pizza and sandwich shops. Even with Wendy's much higher quality product than the next door fast food store the value just isn't there for what you get - especially with the fries and drinks. Even if my order had been perfectly prepared I still would have been disappointed paying almost $10 for a sandwich and a medium fry and drink that would be considered a 'small' at any other shop around here. In conclusion I think that with the exception of the pricing most of the issues I've raised are the result of poor management at this location. Whether the understaffing is also a symptom of that, I can't tell. It's a shame that Wendy's didn't send one of their best managers to open this location because it's a great spot with a ton of traffic potential, but that is currently going to waste. How do they even stay in business?Every time I've visited, the food is mediocre to bad, and the service is slow. The final straw was today when I visited at noon on a Thursday and there was one register open and a line of 10-12 people that wasn't moving. I used to be very impressed by the speed, accuracy and quality at this location, but over the course of the previous two years, they've completely fallen apart. They are still pretty fast, but I suppose that's easy to maintain when you couldn't care less about accuracy or quality. They have also become extremely stingy with toppings like lettuce, tomato and onion. The last three chicken sandwiches that I have bought there each had one wilted piece of lettuce and literally two small rings of an onion slice. And that's after requesting extra onion!
