If you keep walking past the Wendy's, you'll hit a food court with a lot more options. Nevertheless, sometimes when I've just gotten off the plane, I'm definitely in the mood for some junky fast food. This Wendy's has a limited menu - for instance, they only have the 10 chicken nugget meal, and you can *only* order it as a meal. For someone who really wanted just 4 nuggets, it was kind of annoying. The prices are pretty steep, so it's not really cheaper than the other options in the airport. All of the staff speaks Spanish a lot better than they speak English, and they have the interesting policy of calling out your orders based on the name on your credit card. There's limited seating off the side, but this location is open later than the other eateries in the food court.

Power Mediterranean, yum!

IMO this is one of best places to get food in the Miami airport. I don't go here often because there is always a line but when I do the food has always been fresh and reasonably fast. This location offers a simplified menu. For example you cannot order kids meals or half sized salads. When I order a single burger I ask for no cheese and it's always made then and there. Their salads are amazing and super fresh. Love the Power Mediterranean! I've ordered from here a million times and never had a problem worth mentioning. I would say the line moves pretty fast. If there are 15 people in the first order/payment line. You can plan to have your food in about 15 minutes on average. My only complaint is the lack of table and seating. Not sure this is Wendy's fault. Miami airport seems to have something against tables in general. Why Miami, WHY?

Oh boy, run to next vendor

Okay, granted - travel today almost uniformly sucks and I try to give Most businesses the benefit of the doubt but, considering that Most airports vendors charge more than their independent vendors due to airport fees you would think they might try a little harder to keep customers in the corporate fold....or not. The next time a Wendy's employee looks at me like a Martian for asking for Ketchup for fries will be the last. This isn't Europe, and I'm not using Mayo! Wendy Thomas are you listening?

The system they have of calling the customers name when the order is ready is not a good idea when none of them speak English.

(2/5) -- Great concept, but this visit missed the mark…read more I really wanted to like this Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers location more than I did, because the concept is solid and, generally, Cane's food hits. But this visit? Frustrating from start to finish. First off, the setup is misleading. The inside looked empty, and even the drive-thru appeared manageable--until you actually commit. You have to drive deep into the parking lot just to see how long the line really is, and once you're in, there's no easy way out. So now you're stuck. Not ideal. Then comes the wait. About 10 minutes just to place an order, with aggressive drivers jockeying for position like it's a race. I get it--no one wants to sit in that line--but the flow (or lack of it) makes it worse. For a place with two lanes, the organization just isn't there. Service at the speaker? Rough. I felt rushed the entire time, struggled to hear over the noise, and kept getting hit with "I can't hear you, speak up" in a tone that felt more dismissive than helpful. No upsell, no real engagement--just hurry up and move along. To their credit, the pickup window redeemed things a little. Once I got there, the food was ready, and they even overdelivered on condiments (asked for two ketchups, got four). That part was efficient--but it came after a pretty long wait for only about seven cars ahead of me. Now, the food... This is where things really slipped. * The 4-piece tenders felt noticeably smaller--more like large nuggets than actual tenders * Fries were undercooked and skimpy for the price and I had to ask for ketchup * Sweet tea was mostly ice, barely any drink * Overall portions just didn't match the cost For a brand that usually delivers consistency, this felt off. Like corners were being cut. Final take: Started as a 3-star experience based on the process, but dropped to 2 stars once the food came into play. If I could split it, it'd be a 2.5--but Yelp doesn't do that. This place should be better. The foundation is there. But between the chaotic drive-thru, rushed service, and underwhelming portions, it's just not hitting right now. Hope they tighten things up--because Cane's can be really good when it's done right.
