Late coming home from Iceland. Stopped in to grab something to eat. Picked up Apple Pecan Salad. Service was good, food was good. Can't beat the salads. They are enough for two meals. Based 5 star on food and service since I walked in and ordered and took it home. But store could be cleaner. Sept 2025 read more

Why is it that I always have to use the bathroom just when the traffic gets bad? After some breathing techniques, prayer, and tears rolling down my face, we finally got out of DC traffic and found a shopping area where I could access a bathroom. This one was great! A single room with a deadbolt. Plenty of room for my wheelchair. Clean. Wendys is one of the few fast food places I enjoy. I would have happily ordered food, but we were down to our last couple of dollars, after our incredible trip to Luray Caverns. Would recommend read more

This Wendy's is always horrible, food never comes out fast even if it's just a drink. The lazy managers don't even correct behavior. I thought it would be different if I came inside to order food but I was wrong. Took forever & they didn't even greet me. While the guy was taking my order he was doing stuff on his phone which is super unprofessional. Fire all these slow incompetent workers & hire people who want to work(.) also super dirty inside the store & it's missing straws & soda inside the machine at the self serve station. Everyone needs to be fired shut the place down. read more

Date of service: Jan 9, 2025 Ambiance: Just the drive thru - a little messy on the ground by the window. My guess it's from items dropped when being passed to/from the cashier and the customer. Food: grabbed something quick, just a kids meal to hold me. Fries are always hot and tasty so were the nuggets. Funny: I joked w/ the cashier and said geshhhh you all giving out Dixie cups for drinks now. He laughed and said I didn't do it, do you want me to fill it up. I thought long and hard and decided NO. It might not have been what I wanted so I opted to keep my unfilled cup Pic shown read more

Always messing up orders everytime I come, seven when I specifically said the order and what I want on it

I needed a quick meal to take with me home and this place fit the bill for that time. I was out for the day and my day was nearing the end and I found myself pulling into this drive thru. Service was what I expected it to be for the drive thru. Placed my order, pulled around, and paid. There is always a little wait between paying and having your food handed to you. This also gives you some time to peer inside and see what is going on. They seemed to be a well oiled machine. Everything worked together and soon enough I had my food in bag. I checked my bag before pulling out of the parking lot. Everything I ordered was correct. Can't really say much about the food. It was what I have come to expect. The fries were a little too done, but I wasn't really disappointed by that. I was happy to see that the sandwiches were made the way I asked for them to be. Maybe a bit too greasy, but how I asked for them to be made. read more

Definitely have mixed emotions about this place . Seems like this Wendy's is a hit / or miss depending on when you go . I ordered both the Ceasar chicken salad and the taco salad for my coworker . Both salads were surprisingly good . The salads were premade . I placed the order via the drive thru . All I can say is rat the service was blah. The lady at the drive through time was having a difficult time hearin and when I wanted to make a changes to my order she gave me a slight attitude . read more

I gave this location a try twice recently to be fair! Service is okay could be better everyone seems asleep. I ordered the new Krabby Patty meal first they got my order completely wrong. Giving me a biggie bag after fixing the order I received a soggy Krabby patty the sauce was watered down. Fries was cold unsalted and dry. I got a regular vanilla frosty which they didn't say they was out of the pineapple frosty that comes with the meal. 2nd time same thing overall not worth it. read more

WORST WENDYS EVER! the staff is so rude and disrespectful and they literally LIE to your face over and over and over again . not to mention the laziness is over the TOP! this is the second time they lied to my face ! i asked for a chocolate frost with extra brownie batter and they gave me vanilla. i said to the lady I DID NOT ask for this so she closes the window and this other lady gives the SAME frosty and says WE DO NOT HAVE CHOCOLATE its melted and broken and i said well you guys did NOT tell me that before i paid and i want a refund ... she closed the door and then hands me to chocolate frosty with barely any brownie batter . ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Yall just lied to my FACE?! I have had problems with them before and it's an overall 0/10 ! read more

Look, I get it. Many of us have brushed against our wits end wearing face masks, cursing when we accidentally pour too much Purel after handling packages, and seeing our happy homes transform into our workplaces, eroding the distinctions between the work week and the weekend in ways that make us uncomfortable. This should not mean that our expectations of fast food should be too low or too high. "Were we happy with our experience?" & "Will we return as customers?" are the only two questions that should matter. And the answer for this Wendy's off of Route 1 in Laurel, Maryland is a resounding yes. My wife and I ordered three maple bacon chicken croissants for our German Shepherd/Rottweiler rescue; and, unsurprisingly, she devoured two in nanoseconds. We have tried them before and enjoyed them ourselves. Our treat for ourselves was an order apiece of their breakfast potatoes, piping hot and crisp potato wedges seasoned attentively with perfect amounts of black pepper and onion salt. Pulling into a parking spot to eat them after completing your drive through order is, without question, the way to prompt your taste buds to celebrate fast food. read more

The people were nice, but they should not cook. My family and I went to this location for the first and last time. I tried calling after getting home with our food and noticed one of the burgers was raw!! It was only seared enough on the outside... I know for a fact these are most likely not angus... their menu does not say they are. Exactly why it's so disgusting and chilling that they would serve this. No one answered the phone so I could get a refund, so I'm just calling HQ in the morning. Buyer be warned... read more

Ordered the new Spicy Jalapeño Popper Sandwich "A juicy chicken breast marinated and breaded in our unique, fiery blend of peppers and spices made even spicier with jalapeño cream cheese, shredded pepper jack cheese, and, of course, jalapeños. Then we added some applewood smoked bacon and cheddar cheese sauce for good measure." It was missing the jalapeño cream cheese and cheddar cheese sauce. So it was a chicken/bacon sandwich with jalapeños. Also ordered a chili & asked for extra chili hot sauce (the packets). Got zero. And they were out of the pretzel rolls for their new pretzel bacon pub burgers. read more

I don't know if the service is horrible here just when they are understaffed or all the time but the service here is horrible . Extremely rude in the drive thru and long waits read more

I mean, it's fast food but I've never had an issue! My order was always right and chicken nuggets fresh.

RATS - The man who filmed the TikTok of rats in a Popeyes in DC was recently fired, reminded me to post abt Laurel Lakes in case that is ignored too. I regularly took my dog to Petco, every evening driving on the service road behind the restaurants, my car had a team of rats running next to it from behind Wendy's (my headlights made them run), as well as a small herd (half dozen) that ran from the lot of Hibachi Grill towards Chipotle. I saw the rat squads on multiple evenings and never ate at those establishments. I've since moved from the area. read more

Potok forever . We had order twice: they forgot food. Terrible place. They don't know what they doing

This location does not allow entrance inside to order. No sign is posted on the door. Not sure if this is just for evening hours. You must use the drive through, which took 15 minutes. Our order at time of payment was correct. We got the 4 for $4 deal that comes with a small burger, fries, 4 pieces of chicken nuggets, and small soft drink. This meal has gotten smaller over time so it is more like a children's meal. You may want to get something bigger if you're real hungry! read more

Wanted a southwest salad and decided to go to This Wendy's instead of McDonalds to try there new South Salad. BIS MISTAKE!!! I wish I didn't go through the drive through because I would of returned it. I got the full size salad and half of the salad had brown lettuce. I had to separate the good greens and I got no tomatoes and they gave me ranch dressing instead of the southwest Ranch. Employees need to make sure they are executing the deliver and the appearance of all food products especially new items. I was very disappointed . I'll consider trying it at another location but IDk, think I'll stick to the McDonald's version read more

I just left wendys on rt 1 in laurel 8850 Gorman road laurel md. I had a simple hamburger order no cheese, mustard , ketchup and onions. I took the burger back inside after i saw they added cheese. They remade the burger again and wrong again. The manager elyse came out and I asked for a refund andI asked why can't you get this order right. She said nothing and gave me a refund. The young girl who worked the register had a hard time comprehending the words no cheese. I would give them no stars if I could. My order is always wrong. Be prepared to get a cheeseburger even though you have not ordered one. Every time I come to this location my orders are always wrong. I strongly recommend you check your order before you leave because you dont know what you will get. Poor service. I give them a negative 5 stars!!! I will also post this on facebook and twitter. read more

We just spent $25 on the worst meal ever at Wendy's. Every item we ordered was wrong except the fries, which were cold and dry. I ordered a pretzel bacon pub cheeseburger and got dried out chicken. The Wendy's in Laurel MD is consistently horrible. We hadn't been there in 6 months and made the huge mistake of giving them another chance. What a waste of money. Oh and this isn't a COVID thing - they were horrible long before the pandemic started. Shame on me for actually giving them another chance. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I tried to give this place a chance but it fails miserably every time. The line is always long, they can barely get your order right over the loud speaker and tonight all our meals were cold with sandwiches that were missing basic ingredients like a tomatoe. I paid for tomatoes so where were they? You mean to tell me you "forgot" to put tomatoes on all three sandwiches which come with tomatoes standard? I wouldn't even feed my dog this garbage and guess what? I don't have a dog! I will never patronize this location again and at this point I'm not quite sure ill return to any Wendys at all. Last $35 they'll ever get from me! read more

The service was trash once I got to the second window where Marcus was super rude because I wanted to wait for fresh nuggets then he proceeded to give me raw food which I had to go inside to ask if I could get them cooked longer and the guy at the front was actually very helpful but I wanted to watch him do it because MARCUS stood there as if he would do something to my food please do something about this employee I'm a manager and if he worked at my establishment he would be fired on the spot for being so rude and giving a customer raw food I will not be returning read more

Signs says close at midnight and I go because I received a door dash pick up at this location. I go thru the drive thru and the lady say ok pull to the widow. I get there and I'm waiting for 10 minutes and wouldn't you know, they were telling me the stores close and they weren't taking any orders. So why the hell you tell me to pull up if you were closing. Lady kept saying it's close and I kept telling them you guys told me to come here. So don't come to location because that was just terrible service and communication read more

So I stopped by the drive through this morning thinking that I would try their new breakfast menu. No line, perfect. "One moment please " Many moments pass. I say hello, and again I get "one moment please" again. And again many moments pass. Finally looking at my watch I decide I have no more time to wait I have to get to work so course as I pull away I hear the voice over the PA about taking an order I drive on. Wendy you're going to have to try a lot harder than this to get my business back read more

My food (nuggets, burger & fries) was hot and made to order. I waited less than 3min to get my order. The drive thru was busy because of the rain. The dinning area was empty. The front counter was clear and appeared clean. The staff was very nice. I love the fact that the soda fountain is in the lobby and that I don't have to wait when/if I want a refill. The restroom was very clean and maintained. However, I wish paper towels were available (they have the hand dryer) as not everyone washes their hands. The only "issue" was that the 'bin' housing the straws needed to be cleaned. Apparently there was a spill and some of the straws on one of the bins looked like soda was spilled on them. read more

Beware of the bugs. I was waiting at the drive thru window when I noticed a big roach like bug coming out of the window. A few seconds later, another one came out. I observed several bugs coming out so I decided to say something to the person at the window. He said that they were water bugs. He really thought that is was ok for water bugs to be coming out of the restaurant. I explained that those are not water bugs. They were roaches and no bugs should be around and so visible. I got my money back and haven't been there since. Don't go there. read more

Yeah so I've given this Wendy's plenty of chances, but they suck hands down. I placed a pick up order and wanted to skip the line in drive thru. The dining room closes at 8, of course, so I wait 20 mins in line just to get to the window and she tells me the spicy chicken I preferred for my salad is out so I had to choose another. So I did and when I got my order and mind you it's just a salad and 4 nuggets... the nuggets were soggy. Felt like they tossed them in the microwave before handing them out to me. Couldn't even finish them, and I'm scared to even eat the salad now because idk how my stomach will react. If you want quality Wendy's go somewhere else or only come here before 4 o'clock or else you will be highly disappointed! Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Please Wendy's come do an inspection or something to this establishment and get better workers in there! This one hires anyone! read more

Unfortunately this location was everything but professional. While in line what seemed to be an employee ran in pushed past the line grabbed a cup from over the counter then proceeded to ask for lemonade since the machine was not working, while the person in front of me was having their order taken. Then yelled vanity and spoke loudly while demanding food from the back. After a few minutes she left and yelled be back tomorrow y'all and skipped out. Next we waited for our incorrect food order that was dry and semi cold, no one wanted to discuss what was wrong but ignore it as the line grew and grew. We took a couple bites pitched the meal and left after the volume in the place became a bit outrageous with yelling from other frustrated customers. The best thing from this visit was my frosty. read more

Not really sure what star to give this location, they have made me upset previously. I wrote to their corporate and they didn't cared to respond to me. So I completely stopped eating at the Wendy's. But it's been raining all day and when I got home from work, there were nothing to eat. All of a sudden, I was craving for Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich. So I drove there again with my dog. Came home to find there are chicken nuggets in my bag instead of the chicken sandwich that I ordered. I'm eating the nuggets as I'm typing this review, and whoever is reading it, I want you to know my dinner is ruined! Thanks a lot again, Wendy! read more

How long does it take to order in drive thru? This lady spent 20mins allowing her 50 kids bathroom breaks and all but wait does that mean they are slow inside?
