This Wendy's is always horrible, food never comes out fast even if it's just a drink. The lazy managers don't even correct behavior. I thought it would be different if I came inside to order food but I was wrong. Took forever & they didn't even greet me. While the guy was taking my order he was doing stuff on his phone which is super unprofessional. Why is it that I always have to use the bathroom just when the traffic gets bad? After some breathing techniques, prayer, and tears rolling down my face, we finally got out of DC traffic and found a shopping area where I could access a bathroom. This one was great! A single room with a deadbolt. Plenty of room for my wheelchair. Clean. Wendys is one of the few fast food places I enjoy. I needed a quick meal to take with me home and this place fit the bill for that time. I was out for the day and my day was nearing the end and I found myself pulling into this drive thru. Service was what I expected it to be for the drive thru. Placed my order, pulled around, and paid. There is always a little wait between paying and having your food handed to you. This also gives you some time to peer inside and see what is going on. They seemed to be a well oiled machine. Everything worked together and soon enough I had my food in bag. I checked my bag before pulling out of the parking lot. Everything I ordered was correct. Can't really say much about the food. It was what I have come to expect. The fries were a little too done, but I wasn't really disappointed by that. I was happy to see that the sandwiches were made the way I asked for them to be. I gave this location a try twice recently to be fair! Service is okay could be better everyone seems asleep. I ordered the new Krabby Patty meal first they got my order completely wrong. Giving me a biggie bag after fixing the order I received a soggy Krabby patty the sauce was watered down. Fries was cold unsalted and dry. Look, I get it. My wife and I ordered three maple bacon chicken croissants for our German Shepherd/Rottweiler rescue; and, unsurprisingly, she devoured two in nanoseconds. We have tried them before and enjoyed them ourselves. Our treat for ourselves was an order apiece of their breakfast potatoes, piping hot and crisp potato wedges seasoned attentively with perfect amounts of black pepper and onion salt. RATS - The man who filmed the TikTok of rats in a Popeyes in DC was recently fired, reminded me to post abt Laurel Lakes in case that is ignored too. I regularly took my dog to Petco, every evening driving on the service road behind the restaurants, my car had a team of rats running next to it from behind Wendy's (my headlights made them run), as well as a small herd (half dozen) that ran from the lot of Hibachi Grill towards Chipotle. I saw the rat squads on multiple evenings and never ate at those establishments. I've since moved from the area. read more

This location does not allow entrance inside to order. No sign is posted on the door. Not sure if this is just for evening hours. You must use the drive through, which took 15 minutes. Our order at time of payment was correct. We got the 4 for $4 deal that comes with a small burger, fries, 4 pieces of chicken nuggets, and small soft drink. This meal has gotten smaller over time so it is more like a children's meal. You may want to get something bigger if you're real hungry! read more

Wanted a southwest salad and decided to go to This Wendy's instead of McDonalds to try there new South Salad. BIS MISTAKE!!! I wish I didn't go through the drive through because I would of returned it. I got the full size salad and half of the salad had brown lettuce. I had to separate the good greens and I got no tomatoes and they gave me ranch dressing instead of the southwest Ranch. Employees need to make sure they are executing the deliver and the appearance of all food products especially new items. I was very disappointed . I just left wendys on rt 1 in laurel 8850 Gorman road laurel md. I had a simple hamburger order no cheese, mustard , ketchup and onions. I took the burger back inside after i saw they added cheese. They remade the burger again and wrong again. The manager elyse came out and I asked for a refund andI asked why can't you get this order right. She said nothing and gave me a refund. The young girl who worked the register had a hard time comprehending the words no cheese. I would give them no stars if I could. My order is always wrong. We just spent $25 on the worst meal ever at Wendy's. Every item we ordered was wrong except the fries, which were cold and dry. I ordered a pretzel bacon pub cheeseburger and got dried out chicken. My food (nuggets, burger & fries) was hot and made to order. I waited less than 3min to get my order. The drive thru was busy because of the rain. The dinning area was empty. The front counter was clear and appeared clean. The staff was very nice. I love the fact that the soda fountain is in the lobby and that I don't have to wait when/if I want a refill. The restroom was very clean and maintained. However, I wish paper towels were available (they have the hand dryer) as not everyone washes their hands. The only "issue" was that the 'bin' housing the straws needed to be cleaned. Apparently there was a spill and some of the straws on one of the bins looked like soda was spilled on them. read more

Beware of the bugs. I was waiting at the drive thru window when I noticed a big roach like bug coming out of the window. A few seconds later, another one came out. I observed several bugs coming out so I decided to say something to the person at the window. He said that they were water bugs. He really thought that is was ok for water bugs to be coming out of the restaurant. I explained that those are not water bugs. They were roaches and no bugs should be around and so visible. Yeah so I've given this Wendy's plenty of chances, but they suck hands down. I placed a pick up order and wanted to skip the line in drive thru. The dining room closes at 8, of course, so I wait 20 mins in line just to get to the window and she tells me the spicy chicken I preferred for my salad is out so I had to choose another. So I did and when I got my order and mind you it's just a salad and 4 nuggets... the nuggets were soggy. Felt like they tossed them in the microwave before handing them out to me. Couldn't even finish them, and I'm scared to even eat the salad now because idk how my stomach will react. While in line what seemed to be an employee ran in pushed past the line grabbed a cup from over the counter then proceeded to ask for lemonade since the machine was not working, while the person in front of me was having their order taken. Then yelled vanity and spoke loudly while demanding food from the back. After a few minutes she left and yelled be back tomorrow y'all and skipped out. Next we waited for our incorrect food order that was dry and semi cold, no one wanted to discuss what was wrong but ignore it as the line grew and grew. Not really sure what star to give this location, they have made me upset previously. I wrote to their corporate and they didn't cared to respond to me. So I completely stopped eating at the Wendy's. But it's been raining all day and when I got home from work, there were nothing to eat. All of a sudden, I was craving for Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich. So I drove there again with my dog. Came home to find there are chicken nuggets in my bag instead of the chicken sandwich that I ordered.
