I wish I could leave no stars. I got in line at the drive thru tonight at 10:40. It was a line but no biggie. Finally one car in front of me left and it sits there for 5 mins before pulling off in a rush. I pull up and the lady says through the speaker that they are closed and not taking orders anymore. So it clicked to me. They made the car in front of me sit and wait until exactly 11 and say that they are closed. What about the fact we were already in line. What happened to the speed of service and efficiency? I understand people showing up at 10:59 but waiting 20 mins for nothing is unacceptable. Teach your closers how to better deal with the end of the night or at the very least have someone come out and cut the line off so I don't waste time and gas. read more

The food was fresh and delicious but the icing on the cake, actually the whole cake itself, was the woman working the dining room register: Mrs. Cynthia. She has graced this earth with her presence. She was one of the nicest women I have ever met, she was extremely warm and welcoming, acting like we were friends who hadn't seen each other in a long time. Appears there's Big problems with Wendys menu! Approaching this Wendys at lunchtime I noticed a sign for their fish sandwich. Seems it's a low demand item since I was told 4.5 minutes while they make it. Great, I thought. A fresh sandwich. Until I tasted it. An absolute culinary disaster. A thin patty, the only good thing was a crunchy breading. Tartar was a weird spicy unappealing sauce with five pickle slices piled on top. An awful mix of awful flavors. Moving on, the fries were cooked nicely, but like virtually all other fast food places including Ronalds, they had absolutely no flavor. Something has gone horribly wrong at Wendys corporation allowing their former premium fast food flavors to deteriorate like this. Two stars because the drive thru order was correct. I don't understand why people with bad attitudes take jobs that require them to deal with the public. I was there today to get a breakfast sandwich. I saw the commercial for their sandwiches last night and figured I would try them out. The woman taking my order was very rude and I when I called her on her behavior she fired back at me so I left. If you are looking for a quick dinner while driving along I-65, this place is a strict no no. The staff was very very slow and least interested in serving customers. My experience: Waited for more than 20min the drive-thru order placing place to respond to my hellos, no one responded (around 8:30PM). When I drove to order pickup place to inform that there was no one to receive the orders, they said they are busy while I could see that 3-4 people were standing together and laughing hard engaged "busy" with their small talks. The service men were scrutinizing me saying why I cut the line when I was already the first in line in the drive thru queue. I left finally after a futile 5min attempt to tell him there was no one to receive the order. read more

I use drive thru's because I don't want to risk eating inside restaurants right now. However, at this Wendy's, the cashier did not have his nose covered, and neither did the person giving out the food at the second window. However, the worst thing was when I saw a boy scooping my two large chilis with no mask at all. When I pointed it out to the window boy, he told me that the chili scooper was on a break and was just helping out. So that meant he didn't have to wear his mask? After I got my order and pulled away from the window, I noticed I was missing part of my order. So I went inside to get the rest of my order, and the girl filling French fry orders also had no mask on. Btw, although it was open for dine in, the inside was really dirty. I am an older adult. Employees are incredibly rude and will swear at you. went to the drive thru and was asking about if they still had a sauce which I guess they don't anymore. Ok no biggie, employee then gets attitude and asks me what's wrong with me? She then walks away the drive thru window and calls out to a manager I'm assuming "come get this bitch out of my window I'm not serving her" she was still close enough for me to hear. I was shocked and then tried to tell the manager what was going on. The employee continued to yell thru the window (from behind the manager) she kept going on saying I had attitude. Yes after being called a bitch I did have attitude. I then told the manager to give me my money back and the employee chimes in saying "good I wasn't going to ring you up anyways bitch" I've never experienced such terrible suppler service from any business. It started with the employee at the cash register screwing up my order. I asked for a #2 combo with only ketchup and cheese on the burger. I received a burger with the works. I went back to the counter and asked for a fresh top bun to replace my bun that was covered with gross food that I didn't ask for. The employee apologized and the manager and another employee immediately walked over and apologized. Instead of just giving me the top bun, they made me an entire burger at no charge....along with another order of fries in case my other fries had become cold! Great customer service! This Wendy's is without question the best in the Midwest. My friends and I spend a lot of time traveling to and from Chicago into southern Indiana, and both ways, this is a haven for us all. You wouldn't really expect a Wendy's just off I-65 to go above and beyond expectations each and every time. We've all been there: inanimate employees sliding a half-melted frosty across the counter and wishing you a good night. This is not what I expect at 4500. We've (and I say we because I feel comfortable representing all those I know who love this stop) come to expect excellence from the employees, grills and deep fryers within these walls. The food is always hot, the employees are always affable, the bathrooms are always clean. It simply doesn't make sense, but is a true credit to the fast-food industry and some of the employees that make it. If you're on I-65 into or out of Chicago, take five minutes here and have your day made. You will not be disappointed. Long live nuggets. read more

Incredibly rude and nasty employees on night shift. Elena took my order incorrectly. Then, I returned and was ganged up on, threatened, called names, by the shift manager, Elena, and her crew. All because she didn't like being corrected in front of her co-workers. Then she told me she wasn't going to give me my refund. I went to go get dinner here after having a bad day and somehow left having an even worse day. I initially left the first time thinking all was well until I arrived home to find half my order missing. I called and mentioned that my order was missing 2 things and they say it isn't a problem so I drive back. When I arrive back to this Wendy's the worker, who I assume is the manager, tells me there are no more burgers left over and speculated that I was lying to get more food. I ask her if there's the possibility they gave it to the person behind me and she continued to call me a liar. She sees my frustration and says 'I'm only doing this one time' and gives me my missing burger. Why do I have to show frustration in order to be listened to? Why was she acting like the petty little $4 burger was being cut from her check? Any other food establishments have no issue with making amends on a messed up order but not THIS Wendy's. I always feel bad for food service workers getting treated badly but now I'm not so sure. read more

I live nearby and love Wendys food so I am forced to continue to go to this location. I use the drive through 99% of the time and the best way to describe the customer service is that I am treated like a criminal for showing up to order. On top of the blatantly rude attitude from most of the staff, they ALWAYS get something wrong in the order. It has become a joke between my wife and friends to see 'what they got wrong this time!' Unless you are starving from not having access to food with absolutely no other option, do not waste your time coming here. The staff finds their jobs as a joke and do not know the true meaning of quality service. My order was given to me incomplete and they found the situation to be comical instead of apologizing for the inconvenience.
