Sarry often makes appearences in the student night clubs and is very popular with them! After clubs close if you listen carefully you can hear students singing Sarry oooh ha ha as they stumble towards! My personal opinion is that it is a very friendly place however not the best takeaway after a night out in Derby, although I have not tried a Kebab from there so it might be good.

This used to be a great venue after a night out in D&E or Blu Bamboo however as these have closed down its not really near any nightclub now. It is a real greek kebab shop compared to the rest of Derby which tends to have indian tilted ones. That means kebab on a pitta only! It isn't cheap. The food isn't great and the staff are so unbelievably rude and aggressive you wonder why they even bother facing customers. We used to call it Derby grizzle because of this. In hindsight this would have been because it was frequented by students pouring out of the friary, I think that would be enough to upset anyone, but really. We decided we would just leave out of frustration when she came out all frantic with our food. It wasn't even that good and our waitress literally never checked in even after all that. After returning home this is the only bad meal / food experience we had while in England. I paid close to $70 pounds to be incredibly disappointed. I deserve a refund and an apology.

I still do eat pizza, but far less than I used to. However, if I'm in the area and wanted pizza - this would be the first place to go. They're quick, friendly and take telephone orders with usually a 10 minute wait. There's a seating area, but don't expect too much of an ambiance, it's a grab and go place. This place does a fantastic hot & spicy pizza (around 6.00 GBP for a regular), it's actually almost as good as my own - haha! The crust is thick/deep pan, yet soft and crusty at the same time. Try their garlic bread with cheese, it's also delicious! Their burgers and fries aren't bad neither.
