We were informed by staff that this location is No longer open to serve breakfast items. Which is the only reason we go, but I will say service has always been friendly . But unfortunately they probably just need to shut down this location, it's been so slow. read more

Do not eat here! Dined in today and they gave the gentleman in line behind me my sandwich. He opened the box and touched it, thinking it was his. He returned it to the counter and told them he touched it. They proceeded to just move the box to my tray. He came over and informed me of what happened and they were going to serve me the food. They sure did! I asked them to remake it and they game me a hard time like I did something wrong. I watched them save the sandwich that was contaminated in their warmer to serve to someone else. Wow! Imagine if you order through the drive thru. This place has no sense of food safety! Will never come back here ever again! read more

Horrible service. For the third time in a row, the Frosty machine was down. Then after paying for the other food, the clerk said they were out of Cinnabon rolls. Then didn't credit back on card. Finally refunded cash after several complaints. read more

Ordered in the drive thru but didn't get any napkins or sauce for my chicken nuggets. French fries and chicken nuggets not hot read more

I'd really like to give this place the rating they deserve, but It wouldn't let me do 0 stars... this is by far the worst Wendy's ever! The service sucks, the food wasn't even warm for the 15 almost 20 minutes we waited in the drive thru! They had no problem letting us know they didn't have any frosty's... but completely failed to tell us they didn't have any ice, until we asked why there was no ice in our drinks. Not to mention at the window they asked what kind of sauce we wanted... and still didn't put it in our bag!! All we got after asking for some kind of discount or some kind of compensation, was a "no sorry"... needless to say the food is horrible and they need to do a lot of cleaning up and renovations on the building, and employees! read more

Could not recommend this Wendy's. On one occasion, after waiting through a slow drive-thru line (dine in wasn't an option at the time), they forgot an item of my order. Since I couldn't go in, I called and was told I'd have to wait in the looooong line again just to get the item they forgot. Another 20 min wait and I opted to get a refund instead. No other suggestions to resolve the issue except wait in their slow line again. This place is a 0 for me. read more

The folks working there are pretty alright but the issue is that they are always understaffed which makes the wait times incredibly long! Like painfully long, where you will think of leaving while waiting in line or drive-thru. Speaking of waiting in line inside the store, that's a mystery as to when the lobby is open and when it is not. Only way to find out if the lobby is open or not is to try opening the door :( read more

Food is good, but last time I saw 5 cars drive away because the wait was too long.....I waited 20 min. Because I wanted a loaded potato....... Won't wait again !! read more

No chicken but spicy nuggets. Pop machine was all water, got order to go and fries were tossed in the bag, upside down! This Wendy's sucks!

I usually will only go out of my way to write positive reviews. This is an exception. Once a month, or so, over the last 18 months I have ordered from the Cottage Grove Wendy's. 100% of the time they got something wrong. It has been extremely frustrating. I foolishly keep returning. Today was the last time. one of the items I ordered was a sour cream and chive baked potato. I always order an extra sour cream and an extra butter. I always have to remind the person to add them, as the never do. Most of the time, I get zero. Today, I reminded them and they handed me two butter. Fine. I pulled ahead, opened my bag, and there was no sour cream. I drove to the front, went inside and told them I asked for 2, and there were none. Their response was "We are out of sour cream. WTF didn't they tell me at the drive through? This may seem petty, but this was the last straw. When I returned to work, everyone I told this to had the same response..."THE COTTAGE GROVE WENDY'S SUCKS". Dave Thomas would be ashamed of this restaurant. read more

this is the slowest fast-food restaurant ever one car sitting at the window for over 10 mins is ridiculous pull people ahead if there is a long wait for food read more

I dont go to wendys for exceptional service or food. I go because I have a two hour drive home and its 6 pm. maybe the other reviews are old or something but the service and food was completely fine. not better or worse than any other wendys I've been to. The guy at the window was Mauricio, and he was a pretty nice guy. The service was exactly what I expected and so was the food, and its christmas eve. read more

If I could give it a zero I would and I don't say that a lot. But the service is terrible, the manager is rude and aggressive. Then you have snotty teenagers that are rude and obviously don't care about customer service. On top of that... the pop machine must be broke or something. Every time I've gone to this location (which isn't often) it disappoints. The pop never has flavor... like they ran out of the syrup. It's so disgusting, tastes like mineral water. The food is cold like it's been sitting. You can get better at a gas station. I will not be returning to this location again. read more

If I could I'd give this place negative stars. I ordered my food through door dash, and since they aren't able to check my food, I would think the restaurant would make sure my food is correct. But, here I sit with a burger I can't eat. So, when I called them to get the situation fixed, I was put on hold and clearly forgotten about. I refuse to go into the store because I'm sure I'll start yelling. So now I'm stuck, no dinner, no refund, and no help. Thanks Wendy's. read more

I ordered a single hamburger combo with a baked potato instead of fries with a coke. I also ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget with dipping sauce and a chocolate Frosty from the Cottage Grove location. Ordered thru Door Dash. Now I do not blame Door Dash. They take the completed order and deliver it. Wendy's. A combo means hamburger, side item and a drink right? That is what makes it a COMBO. It received my food items with no sauce. Ok. I can live with that. No Coke No Frosty. Guess I paid for stuff I did not get. Reported it to Door Dash. Getting a credit for both items and they will hang onto my money for 3 days before I can use it. Great way to end my evening Wendy's. You either need more training or fire some people. I would give you my receipt number but wait? I did not get that either. Way to go! You get a participation trophy from me. read more

If you try to use coupons on two separate mobile orders on the same day, they call the police. They initially refused to refund the money paid. I was given my money back, but it was about 3-5 minutes after they called the police. The coupon itself says "Limit one offer per customer, per visit", so making two purchases in a single day with two coupons was compliant with the terms of the offer. Of course, no decision maker in their right mind would call the police because a customer asked for a refund on a product not delivered. The business is delegating authority to people with poor judgement, and also shows the business has no respect for the legitimate service provided by law enforcement. read more

I drive through at this location about once a week. The food has always been consistent and they are always quick and friendly.

I gave them 1 star, but they should get negative 5 stars! Every time that we have gone through their drive through they have shorted us on something that we ordered. Consequently somebody does not have supper tonight because what we paid for and was not put in the bag was their supper. They had a person on the speaker of the drive through that could barely speak english and the person that handed you the food guaranteed that all of the food was in the bag. It was NOT!!! Apparently she does not care and just says what she thinks you want to hear that will get rid of you! How can you treat customers like this on a consistent basis???? Hire people that know how to speak english and care whether or not your order is correct. An eight year old could do this job better than your employees do it! You should close your doors until you can find some adequate help! You should be ashamed of running this business like this!!!!! This store is an embarrassment to the Wendy's name!!! Wendy's Corporate needs to see how their franchisee's are run and fix them!!!!!!!!!! read more

Dirty inside, pop machine spraying pop all over and not stopping. Told worker about it who did nothing! I do not recommend this place!

If i could give this place 0 stars I would. I got two 5$ biggie bags for me and my fiancé, first of all the young lady was very rude didn't even say anything just stood there waiting for money. Second they messed up all of the burgers and didn't give us any napkins no sauce even tho they asked what we wanted and no straw. Like it's the little easy things do better wendy. read more

Wendy's - a hand holding a chicken sandwich - Burgers Near Me - Cottage Grove, Minnesota

I haven't been inside of this Wendy's in probably fifteen years. I was pleasantly surprised by how exceptionally clean both the restaurant and staff are. Especially after my last dine-in experience here, as a teenager. Times change, and so do people! Is it the fastest service in town? No, probably not. However, they have a very good menu of food that doesn't taste like overly processed, microwaved krill. Long story short; If you have five minutes to spare, to wait for delicious food, and fast food is your target, this place will not disappoint! On the same topic; The manager (he was dressed differently, I assume he's head honcho?) was very friendly and accommodating. He had no problem changing my fries to chili at the last second (my bad, sorry about that). Again, he was super friendly! 5/5, will eat here again! read more

I am in the drive thru right now. I've been here for 20 minutes. Each car is taking about 10 minutes each. I will drive to the next town over the next time my kid wants Wendy's because that will be quicker than this ridiculous business. Please do not go here. read more

Long (7-10min) wait with only one medium sized group in front of me, I heard them saying from across the dining area that they had screwed up their order...(regardless of the hear-say) the manager spent his time berating and batoning his employees (3pm sunday july 20th) in front of customers. Food was fine. read more

Slowest fast food establishment ever. Usually always slow but today was the worst. Waited 15 minutes in front of the drive thru for chicken nuggets while 5 cars behind us got food before us. This is without question the worst fast food place I've ever been. I live right up the street and have given this place several chances, but today I have decided I will never come back here again. Service is always slow which would be fine if the food was good. Never once had my order been completely right usually just little things but it is never ever been 100% what I asked for, what kind of service is this. Just go to taco bell up the block there a reason the line goes around the building there and Wendy's looks like a ghost Town. read more

I've been here a couple of times and had good service. Today, we asked the kid at the drive thru what soda we were getting handed, he just stared at us like we were saying something wrong. We asked him a third time before he stated he didn't remember. We also didn't get our whole order, which were trying to tell the young female as she was shutting the window. By far the worst staff today. Called the store and spoke to the manager who really didn't seem to care and told me to leave a review at talktoWendy's.com. Great customer service you rock! read more

Very disappointed in this location. Went inside to get food. Ten people in line with one cashier. Left to go through drive thru. Took 27 minutes to get my food in the drive through.
