Regarding Wendy's Store #5965 Date/Time: Approximately 10:25 PM Evidence: Photos available NATURE OF COMPLAINT This location is not just underperforming--it is operating in direct violation of Wendy's standards across the board. What I witnessed creates real concerns for customer health, company liability, and brand reputation. This is not one issue. This is a complete breakdown in food safety, employee behavior, management oversight, and basic operational control. MANAGEMENT & COMPLIANCE FAILURE Management is not doing their job. There is no enforcement of policies, no structure, and no accountability. Employees are openly violating rules and nothing is being corrected. No one is being supervised properly, and it shows. The environment feels like there is no leadership present at all. Everything is reactive instead of proactive. The only time anything got fixed was after I pushed for it. If management is hiring people who don't follow Wendy's standards, then management itself is failing the company. UNIFORM & APPEARANCE VIOLATIONS Employees are not in uniform and are not following basic requirements: Wearing blue jeans, leggings, and sweater pants Not wearing required black jeans with belt loops Wearing improper footwear like boots and Crocs instead of slip-resistant shoes No hairnets or proper hair restraint while handling food Everyone who works there agreed to these standards when they got hired. If they are not going to follow them, they should not be working there. FOOD SAFETY VIOLATIONS This is the most serious issue. Employees handling food with no gloves No time labels on food at all Food being served cold Grease not being properly changed or maintained This is dangerous. This kind of negligence can cause food poisoning. People are paying for fresh, hot, safe food. Not food that has been sitting, mishandled, or prepared without basic safety standards. Wendy's requires food safety certification, but this store is operating like none of that matters. THEFT & INTERNAL CONTROL FAILURE I witnessed a man walk in, order food, and not pay. The employee at the second drive-thru window, a woman with braids, knowingly gave him free food. Management did nothing. This is not just bad service. This is employee misconduct and a complete lack of control inside the store. PAYMENT NEGLIGENCE I used my husband's credit card and no one questioned it or asked for any form of verification. That means anyone could use a stolen card at this location and get away with it. That is a serious issue. SERVICE & OPERATIONAL FAILURE The staff came off untrained, disengaged, and careless. I asked for my order to be corrected and was ignored at first. The manager only fixed it after I kept pushing. That is not how service should work. It should not take escalation to get something handled correctly. FALSE COMPLIANCE This store clearly only follows rules when it is time for inspections or when the health department shows up. Then it becomes "lights, camera, action." That is not real compliance. That is putting on a show. INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE I have worked for Wendy's on both the corporate and franchise side, so I know exactly what is expected. This store is far out of compliance and not representing the brand at all. REQUIRED ACTION This needs immediate attention. Review camera footage around 10:25 PM Investigate employee misconduct and management failure Enforce uniform, food safety, and operational policies Retrain staff from the ground up Demote or remove anyone not meeting standards Put real accountability in place If employees are not going to follow the rules, policies, and standards they agreed to, then they should not be in those positions. I visited this Wendy's this evening at 10PM to find a line of cars at the ordering station. I thought hmm this is odd, but I waited patiently for my turn to place an order only to find out that they are only accepting cash?! WOW 15 mins in line to find out that I can't even place an order because they are only accepting cash! I have already abandoned your app because your restaurants have no clue about how to properly service mobile orders and now this. I was greeted by a customer who had a bad attitude and horrible customer service while doing Uber eats.

Ordered online 10 mins ahead. Arrived at restaurant to wait behind a pile of cars in the drive through. They always have one car at the window while another car sits and waits to order at the intercom; they seem to only service one car at a time no matter what hour of the day it is. Maybe they are doing that to meet a certain car per minute quota. However, after waiting for so long, when I finally got to the window, I glanced at what they gave me in the bag, which looked to be correct to get home and find out it was completely the wrong order. Yes, I should have taken the time to thoroughly double check what was given to me but I was so annoyed from the long wait!!! Even though I pre-ordered online, you would figure the meal would have been ready by the time I got to the window but it was not, I had to sit and wait. This is the only Wendy's that I have had that type of experience with. I also don't understand, why are their doors still locked? I only go there out of convenience but now most of the time, if I go to Wendy's, I go to the one that is further away. read more

I'm not gonna lie. I saw the reviews and thought they weren't fair. I've been going to this Wendy's mostly out of convenience for two years. I've only been held up in the drive 2-3 times. But what PISSED me off is I ordered a salad. I asked them to put feta cheese instead of blue cheese and they told me this location (another caveat on the black side of town like most businesses) no longer offers feta cheese. Just an all around bad experience. This Wendy's sits behInd the Quick Trip on Fulton Industrial Blvd. The parking lot for Wendy's is pretty small but there is other parking within close proximity. I chose to go through the drive-thru which has two lanes. The lane on the right is hard to get into if there are cars waiting in the left lane. The drive-thru moved very slow. I ordered a double with cheese, ketchup and mayo only as well as a chili and unsweet tea. From the time that I ordered until the time I made it to the pay window was at least 5 minutes. Then there were no employees to take the money. I waited and waited until she came back carrying a disgusting trashcan and not wearing any gloves. She took my money ( the total was 10.96 so I handed her 11 one dollar bills. She just stuck them in the drawer without counting ) and tried to hand me the change and receipt. I told her to keep it. She never said a word to me. I waited there for about three minutes before moving up to the second window. Once arriving at the window the lady working the window handed me a tea but squeezed it so hard the lid came off spilling some of the tea. I had to ask her to fill it up again. She never offered. Once back to my office I took a sip of tea to find that it was SWEET tea NOT unsweet like I ordered. The double with cheese was just barely warm and had ketchup / mayo literally just smeared all over the burger and inside the wrapper. I asked the worker if I could have a few extra packs of crackers and she said " I already gave you two, how many more do you want"? I said just two or three more. That is when her supervisor standing next to her said " You already gave him two packets that is enough, we cant be giving out all kinds of free crackers". WHAT ??? Are you serious ? I bought a large chili and I cant have 4 packs of crackers ?? Topping on the cake ... NO SPOON. The employees are slow and rude. I will not be back and I will not recommend this place to anyone. I just came there at 715 to get to pick up an Uber eats order the lobby was closed and the drive thru was long I waited 15 min to get to the speaker and the ladies told me I had to get out and go inside I told her that the inside was locked then she told me when I got to the window to let her know who my order was for I waited another 30 minutes to get to the window while I was sitting in the car a second Uber order came on I got to the window and I told her that I had two orders she told me that she would give me one of the orders and I would have to go back around and get back in line to get the second order mind you the line is wrapped around the building at at this moment she didn't even take the first order. What whatever what would it have hurt for her to take both orders since I had waited for almost an hour and she wanted me to go back around and get back in that long line and she was the manager and she also talk loud to me at the window walked from the window is talking loud to the employees about how she was not fixing my order and I was going to have to go back around to place the second Uber eats order she is very unprofessional she's ghetto just because you in the hood on me your employees got to answer it I'm very upset I cancel the order and I reported her to Uber that she's very unprofessional I hope that she gets this report and she does better cuz this is your management acting like this and they are closing your lobby Early.. now I'm at Wendy's in Douglasville and I've been in and out in 5 minutes professional and courteous maybe you need to get some of these people to go train their trifling asses read more

Bad customer service and poor communication skills!

I go to this Wendy's because I work around this area and is the only thing around this area that I like but some of the workers there are just rude for no reason and today I get a biggie bag and a 10 pice nuggets, they ask me 2 times what kinda sauce I want and when I check my food they only put one packet if I order a biggie that has nuggets and then I order another 10 give me at least 2 packet is coming sense. I've had problems there before but I didnt feel like writing a review but apparently they like being the worst so yeah here it is. I do not recomend this wendys read more

The absolute worst Wendy's I believe I've ever been to. I usually don't eat fast food, however I decided to go to this local Wendy's for a salad. It took me approximately 30 minutes to get to the speaker and after another 5-10 minutes waiting at the speaker, I assumed it was broken and proceeded to the window. The employee at the window showed his frustration that I did not place my order at the speaker, but after an hour I finally got my food. Hands down the dirtiest fast food restaurant I've ever been to. The staff is okay, but the filth kills everything.

I came through the drive thru and order a single. When I got to the second window. The girl at the window laughed as I pulled up as I played a joke and had my hand out my window for the hand off, but When she gave me my food she had a hateful look in her eyes. I sat in the parking lot to eat. There was a jalapeño pepper in my burger. I spat the food out and drove back through the drive through. The girl at the first window forgot to give me my receipt and could not find it in the system. She told me to pull forward. When I arrived at the second window there was staff looking at me confused and the girl at the first window explained. The same girl with hatred in her eyes looked at me and said they're getting me another burger. When she closed the window. The staff started to laugh. They gave me another burger, but I do not trust this place and don't recommend it. I hope they didn't spit in my second burger. I am white. I truly hope that didn't have anything to do with it. This Wendy's is the absolute WORST. I've NEVER leave reviews unless my service was fantastic but this is an exception. I ordered at the menu, that had no lights, but I made it clear I wanted a #1 with NO CHEESE, NO MAYO, NO TOMATO.. Once I got to the window, they didn't have my order, so I ordered it again, the same way.. The girl handed me my order, I checked the burger, the wrapper looked like someone had bitten through it & it had EVERYTHING on it. So I gave it back and repeated my order, again. She gave me another burger, this time it had everything but the cheese. I repeated my order again. Then she came back to the window and asked for it AGAIN. She handed me a 3rd burger..
