Subject: Complaint Regarding Employee Conduct - Wells Fargo Branch Visit
Dear Wells Fargo Customer Service,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at Ocoee Branch 8801 W Colonial on 1-8-25. My visit was to have an important and personal document notarized, but the experience was frustrating and unprofessional due to the conduct of an employee named Zachary Rule.
Upon arrival, I was instructed to scan a QR code in the lobby, despite being the only customer waiting. It appeared that Mr. Rule was engaged in assisting or training a colleague and did not want to be interrupted. I attempted to complete the sign-in process, but my phone had trouble loading the page due to poor service. When it finally loaded, I was asked to input personal information and agree to terms and conditions in fine print, which I did not have time to review. Given the nature of my visit, this felt unnecessary and intrusive.
When Mr. Rule finally approached me, he seemed irritated and looked me up and down in a judgmental manner. I had recently been sick and was dressed casually, but I was there solely to complete a necessary task. As we sat down, he proceeded to lecture me on why scanning the QR code was mandatory and how it impacted Wells Fargo's metrics. However, I immediately noticed that two other customers who arrived after me were assisted without signing in, which I pointed out. Mr. Rule dismissed my concern and became visibly upset, even to the point of his hands shaking.
Additionally, while handling my request, he appeared to be reviewing my account information on his computer before addressing my notarization, which made me uncomfortable. The entire interaction felt condescending and unprofessional. When I left, he sarcastically said, "Have a nice day," in a tone that was clearly intended to be rude rather than courteous.
Before leaving, I spoke with the branch manager, who listened to my concerns attentively, which I appreciated. However, I feel it is important to escalate this matter further. As a Wells Fargo customer for over 20 years, I expect a certain level of professionalism and respect when conducting business at your branches. Mr. Rule's demeanor was unacceptable for a customer-facing role, and I urge Wells Fargo to address this behavior appropriately.
Thank you for taking the time to review my complaint. I look forward to your response. read more
