He was very polite and friendly and seemed to be happy to see us. My spouse had some CDs matured and was debating as to what to do. Jordan explained everything to her eg. Int. rate, length of term etc and was very patient and informative. He basically helped my spouse make the decision to renew the CDs (3 ). We wish him all the best in his carrier. read more

My experience with Fairwinds overall have the best auto loan rate, and personal loan rate. The application process is easy but not as fast as I would like. It's never fast enough right? As for Winter Garden branch - I have dealt with 3 different tellers and 1 supervisor. They were all cheerful and polite. ATM accessibility - I was a BofA client for a long time mainly due to ATM availability. I'm surprised to learn that Fairwinds have free fee ATM in 7/11, Publix, Wawa, CircleK and so on. It's great. My last wish is Zelle. I was told they are working on it. I highly recommend this CU for loans and would recommend it for personal banking as well. read more

I am not sure why the other reviewers had such a horrible banking experience with Fairwinds Credit Union. I have been banking with them for years and by far this branch has given me the ultimate best service. I go out of my way to use this specific location because of the great service. The inside of the bank is very clean. They have a coffee station and a nice seating area. The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. I believe them to be very accommodating. This makes banking with them easy. My only complaint is that a new teller tried to solicit a loan while I was in the drive-thru. I never had anyone at a bank randomly try to ask financial questions over a loud speaker. read more

This bank closes its doors at 4pm. Who does that?! I used to use these guys as a credit union shared branch being that I relocated here, but still had active accounts at my old credit union. One day they informed me they no longer service shared branch customers, and suggested I open an account with them. I did. Never used the account after that. Then found out their own fees stacked up because I didn't keep enough $ in the account. (My fault I guess) So within 60 days they closed the account and sent me to collections. They sent me to collections for their own fees? LOL can't make this stuff up. read more

Opening an account with Fairwinds Credit Union in Orlando was the best and easiest decision I have ever made.

I was a member with Fairwinds for two years while my family has been banking with them for ever. Would I recommend this credit union to anyone? Probably not. The location is very nice compared to the other Fairwinds off of Powers Drive (now shut down). The employees seem to be nice but can be a little snippy. DO NOT USE THIS CREDIT UNION! BY far the most unorganized, rude, disrespectful bank i've ever stepped into. As a branch they are terrible. Overall I am not sure but based on what I saw today I would never go back. The teller has no clue what is going on and the teller manager is too good to come out and talk to you if you have an issue. She just looks at you from the back because what she is doing on the computer is much more important that the issue the customer who is standing there is having. We bank at a bigger bank and when we visit that bank we always feel like an unwanted stepchild and not a customer of the bank. Put your money in a mattress before you put it in Fairwinds. The only good thing about Fairwinds is their online banking, but lets be real EVERY bank out there has a pretty good online banking platform. I have had accounts with Fairwinds for over 7 years. Recently though the customer service and willingness to help their "members" is sub par. They have no sense what they are doing. I had to file a fraud claim because someone skimmed my debit card. I asked them to send me the form and I submitted it. Over a week later I received a letter in the mail stating that I had lost the dispute because of the form I had submitted....REALLY! Their employee emailed me the form and told me this was the one to use. I had to submit 2 more forms before this got resolved....total time elapsed TOO F***ING LONG over a month. They do not fight for their members either. Today alone while I was in the Winter Garden branch at least 5 people walked in to close their accounts. The only thing they were told was "the tellers can do that for you". read more
