It is a nice Truist, the staff are always very friendly and seem genuinly interested in you as a customer. I have always found parking easy and I have never waited more than a few minutes to see a teller. I have had to see a bank officer a few times over the years, and agian, I have never waited for more than a few minutes and they have always been friendly and helpful, and handled the tas at hand quickly. The Truist manager told me to return when the bank opened on Tuesday. He was wearing jeans and appeared unprofessional. It was unbelievable. Only gave one star because I couldn't give zero.

I got my cash and wanted to link my personal and business accounts, so I had to wait in the lobby for a personal banker. Again, I was helped within minutes. I was surprised they had two personal bankers working and two tellers. Joann helped me link my accounts. She said give it a few business days to take effect. So hopefully it's all set!

I was told there was an $8 fee because I didn't have an account with this bank. okay. not what I expected to hear but okay. then I was told they had to call the account holder to check on the check because they said it was over $1000 and that was a policy I have never heard of this before anywhere for a check and asked to have a copy of the policy for me and the account holder for the future. they called and the account holder was out to lunch so they told me they couldn't cash it because they couldn't verify it was a good check. I commented that it must take quite a while to do business there if they had to check on anything over $1000. meanwhile I'm still waiting for the copy of procedure on checks. I realize they don't know my Aunt just passed away Saturday morning and I'm kinda sad but that's my problem. still waiting for copy of procedure. almost 20 minutes have gone by. assistant manager tells me procedure isn't written and I say perhaps you're kinda lying to me about procedure. they deny lying but I don't know. anyway by this time I say hey call them again and they answer and verify the check number and that it's legitimate. how wonderful to hear on the check they wrote me less than 2 hours ago. I guess I'm just foolish for not wanting to tie up my money for a week by cashing at the check at my bank. I understand why banks won't exist soon and everything will be electronic. I would have used Zelle or another service but this was a longtime business account and they just don't work that way. anyway this is a terrible situation and they certainly made me feel like a criminal while trying to do business there. notwithstanding my heavy heart during this time south state bank in Kissimmee is poorly managed all the way around. thanks for absolutely nothing.

These is the branch my employer uses for their business accounts. As I am the bookkeeper. This is the branch I use. I have used both the drive thru and in the branch services. Lines here are never long staff has all been polite and professional on all occasions. Branch is set up that you are greeted as soon you enter by the customer service check in desk. As I am fairly new on to this branch and have not been added to the accounts yet, I am asked for ID each time I make any transaction. On my most receipt visit I went into the branch and left my drivers license. I was called immediately by the teller that checked me to advise me that I had left it in the branch. I did not see the message until the next morning and before I could even leave my desk to go pick it up she was calling me back a second time. I wouldn't hesitant to recommended then to anyone.

I have zero access to my money and can't pay anything. I listened to the bank less get the run around on the phone with 1-800-Regions just like they have done with me for 2 days now. They tell me it's a branch hold and then when I go to the branch (multiple times) they say this type of hold can only be placed by online banking and fraud monitoring. Ive been going to this amscot for years. Lately, there is a very cynical woman named Tanya, asking…read moremy mom and I questions about the western unions that we receive from my father who is a travel nurse who works out of state to pay our bills. He does overtime and sends us money in the morning so he can go sleep after his double shift. Tanya has had the audacity to ask us on the 1st of the month and through the 10th of the month about what bills we have to pay. She gave us a pamphlet but nowhere in the pamphlet does it say she should ask what the money is for. I have to pay my rent and other bills and this woman had the nerve to stall us and even laugh when we were telling her that she was discriminating us for. My dad has been married to my mom for over 42 years and has consistently sent my mom money to help her pay the bills because my mom and I take care of our bipolar and autistic brother, her son who has special needs. She cant work, is about to retire and my dad helps her pay the bills. I said I had the proof of my bills on my phone and she asked to see them. Like, in what world does a transaction of westetn union require so much. And then she, in an authoritative way, said all amscots would do the same. I had to go to another spot and they said that what we went through is odd because western union does the heavy lifting of questions to the sender. No questions were asked about what the money was for at the other establishment. and Tanya claims she was asked why we were receiving high amounts of money in the 1st of the month but the lady who helped me in another western union place DID not. While we were dealing with Tanya, a girl named Lulu, I think came to give cheap excuses and were trying to stall us, for what, i dont know. My mom has been receiving western union from my dad for years. And its always for bills and groceries. Everything we went through with Tanya, I recorded and im appalled by her cynicism and blatant lies. We are a Latino family who has lived in altamonte springs for over 20 years. I dont know what her deal was but she lied through her teeth. And she needs to not judge, because we have an autistic and bipolar man to take care of and our life isnt easy.

I mostly use the ATM, although I am not crazy about the high withdrawal fees. I also wish that Amscot offered services such as PayPal, Cashapp, and Venmo cash reloads. They offer Go Bank and Go2Bank reloads as well as Western Union transfers, but the fees are very high to use those services. Other than that, I recommend it for your ATM needs!
