She is the only doctor I've ever fully trusted and felt comfortable opening up to about all of my health concerns. Through many ups and downs in my life, she has kept me grounded and helped me make the right decisions for my health. I am so grateful for her guidance, care, passion, empathy, and understanding. She is incredibly easy to talk to and always tells it like it is. She's a great problem solver, and if she can't personally solve an issue, she has a fantastic network of practitioners she can refer you to. Over the years, I've referred many friends to her, and more than half now see her as well--which says a lot about the trust she builds with her patients. Her office assistant is also the best on the planet--always kind, professional, and helpful. My wife and son are also patients at Thrive, and we all feel lucky to have such excellent care. I would highly recommend Dr. Bizzy and the team at Thrive to anyone looking for a doctor who truly cares about her patients and goes above and beyond.

If you care about being proactive about staying healthy, this is the medical practice for you. I've…read morebeen seeing Dr. Mark Woodall as a patient since November 2023. Before that time, I was a patient of a large medical practice in Issaquah for over a decade. I've always tried to eat well and stay fit through exercise. So it has been frustrating that the story I've received every year at my annual checkup from my primary care physician at this large medical practice is the same: some of your biomarkers are higher than ideal and we'll just watch them. No further investigation, no analysis of underlying causes, no next steps at all. After I saw Dr Woodall, I learned for the first time that there were steps that I could take to address the underlying causes of my high biomarkers. The steps that I have taken include both medicines as well as nutritional supplements based on scientific knowledge and lab testing of vitamins and nutrients my body is not absorbing well. And I'm confident that the steps that I have taken will help me stay fit, active, and healthy as I move into an older stage of life. The doctors of the practice take a holistic approach seeking the root causes of ailments rather than merely addressing symptoms as seems to be the norm for many medical practices these days due. If you want to get ahead of health problems instead of dealing with them only after they arise, this is a medical practice that is highly worth investigating.

As a business owner with very limited time, I've historically struggled to keep up with medical appointments as they often feel time-consuming and unproductive. Virtual sessions with Cara have not only made it easier to keep appointments, but they've also been more valuable than any in-person appointment I've had in the past. As a healthcare provider turned personal trainer, I have a solid understanding of what I should be doing to stay healthy. I also have high expectations and want to work with someone who truly walks the walk. Cara absolutely does. In contrast to my experiences with other healthcare providers, where I received generic recommendations and quick prescriptions, Cara's approach has been much more individualized and thorough. I don't have any glaring health issues, but maintaining and optimizing my health is a top priority for me. Cara understands that. She's not just focused on treating illness, but on building long-term wellness. She helped me get the most comprehensive lab work I've ever had, took the time to walk me through the results in detail, and gave me clear, actionable steps to maintain or improve various health markers. Her guidance has been empowering and the push I needed to make a few changes. Cara is relatable, approachable, and deeply knowledgeable. If you're looking for someone who truly listens, cares, and treats you like a whole person, not just a set of symptoms, I can't recommend her enough.

Worst front office! After repeatedly calling to get details on becoming a new patient or getting Iv…read moretreatments, I finally got through. I spoke with the IV nurse Debbie who offered great treatment details but was transferred back to the front reception for pricing and procedures about scheduling. I called back next day to schedule - again I had to call several times since they don't often answer phones after noon. The rudest receptionist answered and rambled off details about getting a referral from my previous doctor for UBI. It was the opposite of what I was told the day before. I asked her to repeat herself and got a big sigh. She didn't give me her name and rushed off the phone - beyond unprofessional! It's sad that potentially great doctors have such bad front office staff... and often never see or read reviews that could help to improve these issues.

Additionally, after a very expensive appointment and detailed discussion regarding several serious health issues I'm dealing with, he only ordered a basic blood panel. I was treated very poorly by his medical assistant (Rama) for trying to include more tests (which later proved beneficial) in my lab order. Some of the front office staff members were extremely rude and unprofessional and Dr. Wright's assistant (Virginia) was snooty and unhelpful when I requested her help. According to front office staff, Dr. Wright said I was not allowed to see any doctors there in the future (apparently based upon whatever they told him). Really a bad experience with this group and their unprofessional and unethical practices. UPDATE: I found out after I left a review of my experience on Tahoma Clinic's Facebook page that they immediately removed the entire section of reviews. This just seems to support my opinion that some of them are unethical and want to hide their poor behavior.

My husband and I were having stomach pain and bloating for a while and her food allergy test + natural supplements helped us feel much better and loose weight. We now know which foods hurt us and we try to avoid them. She also helped me to control my hormonal imbalances. One thing I really like is that her clinic sells high quality supplements at the front desk. My sister in law, her husband & two kids are her patients too and they like her a lot. We definitely recommend her. Sometimes they have Interns filing and doing paperwork and that was probably what caused the problem that the reviewer above had with them. I own a business too and can totally understand that sometimes Interns don't do things perfectly and that's why they are Interns so they can have a chance to learn. I have talked to Chris (office manager) on the phone and I agree with the person who wrote the review above, it's sometimes hard to understand him but that's how his voice really is & he tries to talk as loud as he can. I think that if he is a good office manager he deserves that job even if his voice is not the best on the phone.

From broken bones, to allergic reactions to late night FaceTime phone consults to informed vax info and everything in between, Dr. Falanga is a rare find. She's a great fit for my family. It's true that years ago the front desk gal wasn't very organized or friendly, and I have had to play phone tag with her insurance guy a few times. But honestly there's ALWAYS delays in medical insurance, and I've had way worse problems at other doctors' offices. The medical field is just a tad disorganized overall. BUT, they've upgraded to a well organized, quirky woman for the front desk. I've been through several insurance providers over that time and our coverage has varied but I've kept going to Nature Family Medicine even if it means paying a little more out of pocket. All in all, Dr. Falanga is a very talented Naturopath and if you're looking for a good one, definitely check her out!
