April 30, when the big storm came through, I ended up losing 3 big trees, and my drive was completely blocked. I called Wellnitz that evening, and left a message. A little after 7:00 am the next morning, I got a call from Skyler. By a little after 8:00, Logan was out looking at the damage, and working on an estimate. By around 9:30, I had 3 guys, and a big truck, for debris, show up. They went after the mess, and by 6:00 pm, except for a couple stumps, you couldn't tell anything had happened. They hauled off all the brush, raked up all the debris, and left my drive and yard looking like nothing had happened. All this service came at a very reasonable price. We called to schedule a tree trimming appointment and we were put on the calendar very quickly. Two guys came out, worked straight through, except for their lunch break on a VERY cold cloudy day to get the job done. The tree looks great, and when they finished up, they asked us to check their work and confirm that it was done to our expectations. The lawn was cleaned up and raked so well we couldn't see even a single twig left behind. Sidewalks and driveway were also swept completely clear of debris. Within an hour, their big truck came out to dispose of two huge piles of branches and twigs sitting by the curb. Though tree-trimming is costly to a homeowner, we felt their charges were fair. My entire experience with Wellnitz was great. We received bids from multiple companies to remove a dead tree and grind the stump, and to do a heavy trim on another large tree that had been neglected for years. Skyler was very knowledgeable and provided great advice on the best approach to trim the large tree to reduce the wind load and clean up the appearance without impacting the long term health of the tree. The crew that completed the work did an amazing job and cleaned up all of the debris. I expected to have some smaller branches and stuff scattered around the yard, but it was all cleaned up. They arrived as promised, on time at the site. I walked through the list of tasks point by point with John. All was done exactly as promised and cleaned up beautifully. Even though it rained hard the day before & the ground was still wet, they were able to navigate their 76 ft extendable lift over large mats they placed on the grass to protect both grass & soil as they moved the lift to the tree next to the house. John, Ryan & Zach were a great team. They worked together safely, diligently & efficiently with great attention to detail, staying mindful to preserve my house & ornamental plants while bringing down huge limbs that had grown over my roof & chimney. Wellnitz Tree Care bailed me out of a jam. A large tree branch had fallen after another big storm and ripped my service line from the house. I chose this company to do the work after meeting with Jesse. He helped to educate me on the trees I had and what problems they might encounter. One of the two trees had many large branches hanging far above my rooftop and I was concerned they would have some issues taking them down. Wow! These guys are great, very personable and careful. They trimmed my trees exactly as promised. When I asked for a bit more trimming they did it immediately. Cleanup was absolutely super, being done immediately after the work was completed. Smaller sticks were raked and picked up along with larger wood pieces. I had a dying elm on my property that I needed removed. Wellnitz removed the tree and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. They laid down covers to minimize damage to lawn and ground up the stump afterwards. They cleaned up my driveway and finished up in one day. The area they had to work in was fairly tight and close to my neighbors house but the job went smoothly without incident. Excellent tree trimming services from Wellnitz! Removed fairly large limb from patio cover, plus one entire tree removal and pruning of various taller trees. Zach, Hagan, Chris, Christian and Stefan did excellent work on cutting limbs, grapple work, and clean up. I have used Wellnitz Tree Care several times in the last year. We had bad storm damage last July and our three 60 year old oak trees all needed removal of dead branches. Although they were extremely backed up with storm damage work, they visited my property and made me a proposal for trimming and cleanup work within a few days.
