I decided to give YaYa massage a try and they did not disappoint! Anna is clearly the best therapist I ever had not kidding. She is not only a master craftsman at what she does, but she is also the owner and there is a lot of love that goes into every stroke. I have been coming here for almost two years, I even bring my mom who until now never liked massages but she really loves Anna's massages. I come once a month and while they charge a little more than the competition it is well worth it and you really do get what you pay for. Anna has corrected everything and put muscles back where they belong and removed and dissolved all the knots in my upper back. I also love the way she stretches me like a pretzel yet does so in a way that is so soothing. Anna definitely knows when to apply pressure, but not to hurt or injure you and this only comes with experience and expert knowledge. Throughout the entire session I was totally relaxed and happy throughput the entire session. Anna is seriously so great at what she does and super sweet but very serious and a true professional. I especially love the fact she does all the work herself and the consistency speaks for itself. This place is also very clean, neat, and walls are very clean. Woke up this AM with a terrible neck pain and found Sarah on Yelp. I normally wouldn't look for a massage therapist in Evanston because I live in the city. But I was going to be headed that way for a meeting today and I have never found a great massage therapist in the city so I figured give Evanston a try. Luckily she had a slot in her schedule and fit me in same day. She is easy to talk to. Not too woo-woo. Down to earth, understands basic health and medicine that other massage therapists are sometimes clueless to. She is strong and goes deep without being a bull in a china shop - she is very smooth in her movements. Her office is clean, organized, and had a relaxed vibe. It was quiet too, which I really appreciate as many places I've gone to lately are really loud with thin walls. Plus, I love that it does not have smelly candles or potpourri. It was one of the best massages I've had in Chicago. I think she will be my go-to gal from now on when I'm needing to de-stress or have pain.
