At one point, she intended to apply pressure to the arch of my feet (which are sensitive due to my plantar fasciitis) but her nails were not short so it felt more like being scratched. No one introduced themselves to us, they walked in while we were undressing without knocking or warning. During our massages, a bell kept going off. My masseuse walked out of the room 3 times, talking to someone about other clients. If I had been there alone, I would have walked out. This was the worst massage I've ever had. We will stick to VRC in Skokie. At least we receive quality massages.

Woke up this AM with a terrible neck pain and found Sarah on Yelp. I normally wouldn't look for a massage therapist in Evanston because I live in the city. But I was going to be headed that way for a meeting today and I have never found a great massage therapist in the city so I figured give Evanston a try. Luckily she had a slot in her schedule and fit me in same day. She is easy to talk to. Not too woo-woo. Down to earth, understands basic health and medicine that other massage therapists are sometimes clueless to. She is strong and goes deep without being a bull in a china shop - she is very smooth in her movements. Her office is clean, organized, and had a relaxed vibe. It was quiet too, which I really appreciate as many places I've gone to lately are really loud with thin walls. Plus, I love that it does not have smelly candles or potpourri. It was one of the best massages I've had in Chicago. I think she will be my go-to gal from now on when I'm needing to de-stress or have pain. I live near Andersonville and have tried many massage therapists in my neighborhood, but from now on, I'll be trekking to Evanston to see Sarah.
