I've been coming to this place for ~1 year *regularly*; my personal experiences has been a mixed-bag but overwhelmingly POSITIVE. Healthcare Workers are in a Shortage and those that show up are OVERWORKED and Severally UNDERPAID across the Board. "Non-profit" is a TAX Exemption, not a business model. Everybody HERE, CARES. Even on a rough/busy day the TEAM pulls together. I have been using Wellness for the last 4 years for a componded Rx for my K9 companion. I have always been treated with respect and many times have been asked how Wilbur was doing ( he had Cushings disease ). Multiple times we had to go from liquid to pill and back again as his health deteriorated. I (we) never had a problem with refills or any delay in filling his meds. Just had an interaction with Wellness Compounding , they were so incredible rude. Not only the staff but also the pharmacist! I will be changing all of my compounding. Frankly,I would rather not do business with a company that does not value their customers! If I could give Wellness Compounding Pharmacy ZERO stars, I would! They put my medication in a childproof bottle (I don't have kids at home, and I'm a senior citizen). I was unable to open the bottle when I got home (15 miles away). When I called about it, the person on the phone said, "What do you want US to do about it?". I finally went to Rite Aid to get the cap cut off (rather than drive 30 miles round trip back to Wellness Pharmacy). The syringes they gave me to draw up the medication were orange and it was impossible to see the medication level in them. I couldn't tell how much was drawn up in the syringe. When I asked them to send me a clear syringe (no needle), they wanted to charge me to mail one to me! With a $75 prescription? That's rude. All in all, I have to say this is the WORST customer service I've ever encountered at a pharmacy. I won't use them again, or recommend them to anyone. I waited a long time before writing as I needed to be sure I was in a calm state of mind. I was given a prescription for an ointment post-surgery. Hand written by my doctor. It was a compounded ointment and was told that this pharmacy was the only one that could fill it. It was a Thursday, May 26. Upon giving it to the clerk, I completed "new customer" paperwork and paid $80 in advance, and was then told the stamped signature of my doctor was not valid. I was also told they don't accept faxes or electronic prescriptions. I went back to my doctors office, waited while my doctor was found and then signed the prescription. I drove back to this pharmacy and gave it back to the clerk. I was then told that Friday was the day this type of ointment prescription would be filled and that it would be around 4-4:30 when done. I asked what time they closed and was told 5:00. I commented that didn't give me much time to get there and the clerk shrugged like it wasn't her problem. I again reiterated that I would get a call, and she said yes. Friday came and went with no call. I admit, I did not call them on Friday until it was too late for me to get there as I was waiting for the call. Monday was a holiday. They were closed! I went in Tuesday and asked for my prescription. I asked if they thought about calling me on Friday as promised and was told no, they were too busy. Then I went to get counseling as this was a new prescription. I wasn't happy to put it mildly, and said some things in frustration that I'm not proud of. That person said she didn't feel good. Well, I said "neither do I and I haven't for several days while waiting for my ointment." I also shared with her that soon the law will require them to take electronic prescriptions as that is what my doctor told me. She wasn't interested. If I ever have to go back I will know the rules now. By the way, date on prescription is Tuesday, May 31. Hmmmmm I hope others don't have to wait 5 days for pain relief because of the ineptitude of this pharmacy. read more

I am not a happy customer. This is not the first time I've felt this way about Wellness Compounding. They are the only compounding pharmacy in the area so perhaps they feel entitled to treat customers as lucky to have their prescription filled by them! Each time I have interacted with staff, there has never been any demonstrable warm and friendly people skills. Nonexistent.I sensed almost a detachment, a here's your hat, what's your hurry demeanor. I have used WCP for 3 years. The pharmacist who was there when I first used them, Kathleen, was competent and pleasant. The current pharmacist, Angie, is unpleasant and makes up her own rules. I have a prescription for a hormone cream that is PRN (use as needed)--but when I tried to refill it recently, Angie said that since I was late refilling, she was not going to fill it for the prescribed amount. A pharmacist is NOT my MD--she had no reason to do this and charged me almost as much for half the amount as for a whole refill. Now happily using Lone Pine. Additionally, last time I was there they had signs offering that folks could purchase hand sanitizer for donation to first responders. Guess what? At full retail price, so this place is offering nothing but to collect the money. read more

Those in need of prescriptions, beware! Well, that did not go well at all! I have been a customer for several years and definitely always has been a little roll of the dice how capable the staff is.. but this last round really.. I mean really.. First of all, I called in my prescription on a Monday. We went through both of the items I was needed and was going to have it dashed to my home Friday. Great.. Well, mid week, they called with a question around the cream base of one of the Rx, and also confirmed at that time they were going to deliver Friday.. Well, Friday came and went and no prescription was delivered. When I spoke to them Monday, they said that the Pharmacist decided not to send it for delivery Friday. I mean what! There was no explanation, after 2 phone calls the previous week confirming it would be delivered Friday.. nothing.. I mean, is the pharmacist holding the prescription hostage or something.. So I went in Tuesday to pick it up, and they only had 1 of them filled.. The staff member was quiet and didnt say anything while I waited for the pharmacist to be incredibly rude and blame me for not ordering both. She did offer to make it that night so I could have it the following day, however, at this point I am 5 days without a prescription medically I need to be taking every single day. When I asked who the person I originally spoke with was, the pharmacist said "Im not doing this, Im done." and walked away. I called again to try to talk to a manager, and it seems there is no one in there who specializes in customer service, no manager, and no ability to give voice to the obvious deep issues they have going on there. . Definitely not the type of people I want to be preparing my medicines.. read more

Multiple times dealing with WCP industry business to business. Every phone call results in them sounding confused, customer service is so poor, you have to explain that you have already called, already paid, etc. Going in is worse, it feels stale and miserable, employees seem to feel the same. Of course the person at the window seems confused but asks arbitrary questions. On my last visit I heard someone on the phone with a customer be so rude, and watched coworkers smirk when they heard her tone. Time for fresh employees and customer service training read more

First off I came in to pick up a prescription that wasn't ready for me. So they asked if I could come back at a later time. I told them I live in eagle point and I have my new born with me. She said there was many orders ahead of mine even though my prescription was supposed to be ready for pick up. So I came back when they told me to and it still wasn't ready. So I waited by the couch and then she came to me and told me my insurance didn't cover it and it would be $42 for some nipple cream and if I still wanted it. I was so mad that she didn't tell me this sooner. I said no and she continued to push and say but I hear it really helps. Besides the fact that my prescription wasn't ready, the place was a mess. Absolutely terrible customer service. They made my 74 year old mother very stressed and had her wait a week for a call she never received to find out that the pharmacist did not like the way the prescription was written.We ended up taking the prescription to another pharmacy who had no problem with it. Since there are no other pharmacies around I recommend you can either get it filled from a reputable online pharmacy or Grants Pass Pharmacy will have it mailed to you. Courtney wasted my mothers time and kept giving her the run around. When asked to speak personally with the pharmacist she was denied multiple times and put on hold for awhile. Courtney sounded afraid to speak with the pharmacist. What a great staff. I couldn't take anymore so I took the phone and advocated for my stressed mother and finally got the pharmacist by the name of Angie on the phone. Angie would not tell my mother what the problems were with her prescription. Angie then tried to flip the script to place the blame on my mother for "stressing her team out". Angie then started speaking in a angry tone telling us off. She ignored everything we were saying and kept talking. Then she hung up on us. They think that because they are the only compounding pharmacy around that they can treat people like this. Do not support this. read more

I have been using Wellness Compounding pharmacy for several years now. They are not as fast as a commercial, big box pharmacy, but they make medications to order and they do it with precision. The people are very nice there and take the time to explain things clearly. I am very happy with them. (They recently moved to a new location, and the new spot is fantastic). They also have good prices on supplements, as well as other numerous gift and novelty items. I am thankful the old-fashioned pharmacy still exists and that we don't have to rely on pre-set formulations by drug companies. read more
