On the first visit he took my issues into consideration and helped me get the medication I needed to get better. Care quality- above and beyond. He genuinely cares about the health and happiness of his patients. The first day I saw him, i didn't have the cash on me to pay for the visit- yet he still took the ten minutes needed to properly diagnose me. His office experience is great, when he was over in warren county- the office was clean, organized and the nurses on staff are very helpful. I'm now a bit over 13 months clean, and Doc was the person who was there for me; whether he was lifting my spirits after I had a relapse or lecturing me over not taking proper care of my health. If you NEED to get clean (i highly suggest you do) then give this Doc a call. His "bedside manner" is very much apparent, even when on MediHealth calls

There's nothing greater we can say about Dr. Losasso and his team that helped us navigate what…read morewould've been a very challenging time for us. Our son needed Pectus surgery and he spent the time to explain to both us, the parents, and him, the patient, about what exactly was involved from a technical and emotional perspective. His staff was incredible and also helped us with all the medical billing, which, as we all know, can be more stressful than the surgery itself. Luckily everything came out great and our son is healthy and happy. Thank you, Dr. Losasso!

I saw Losasso in 2018 after 10 years of doctor appointments for complications from my modified…read moreravitich. I went to see if i was a candidate for the nuss. I was not. While there, I began educating Dr. Losasso on the vacuum bell, as it's been very important to my well-being and ability to work. He said, and I quote "Those things don't work, once you take them off, you loose the results." He failed to mention that most people who get the NUSS, might have the same issue 10 years later. There isn't enough long term follow studies of pectus people. And the surgeons seem to think we are live-stock. The vacuum bell does have lasting results. It comes in fat. When i use my vacuum bell consistantly, like a prosthetic device, my emotions regulate, my bowls regulate, my metabolism regulates and my respiratory distress vanishes. All these factors have weight and physiological properties. At the moment, out ICD-10 code is rigged to benefit the surgeons, leaving us as livestoke. I can not live without my vacuum bell, and the healthcare of our nation refuses to work with me with the device. Surgeons are lazy. They just want to cut and hack. They could be teaching kids how to live symbiotically with their vacuum bells, get the same dramatic results I got. You'll notice, people like me, with pectus excavatum, don't get representation in media, we don't get a box for disability. We don't have a voice, a support group that isn't run by surgeons. The surgeons are benefiting, then loosing our number once we turn into adults, barring proper medical prosthetic treatment for our people. Ekart Klobe is tryin to be our savior. Dr. Lassaso and the other Non-Pectus surgeons are profiting off us. We are being used and worst, they are controlling our voice. You were a waste of time, Dr. Lassaso.

Dr. Sanusi was also extremely nice, and very caring. He did not rush the appointments at all, and seemed genuinely concerned about getting them both feeling better. What sets him apart is his ability to think outside the box. He's not practicing with blinders on or hiding behind a degree -- he brings genuine curiosity, a growth mindset, and a well-rounded perspective that you can feel the second the conversation starts. He connects the dots in ways most providers don't even attempt. His energy is authentic, his approach is refreshing, and he restored something I honestly thought the healthcare system had taken from me: trust. If you feel like you're done trying -- go see him. Anyone who says otherwise probably doesn't understand the value of someone who genuinely wants to help you become the best version of yourself. It's really hard to find a psychiatrist who has availability, is approachable, and values your time…read moreas much as their own. As someone who suffers from ADD/ADHD (what is it even technically called?), when you're met with roadblock after roadblock on the course to treatment you eventually just... stop looking. That's actually what happened to me. A professor of mine noticed that some symptoms I was exhibiting matched that of a fellow student who also struggled in the class. He suggested I seek a diagnosis as it could help provide me the necessary resources in college to overcome something I was up against. Growing up in the 90s, I, like many others my age, was told that we were just lazy, not trying hard enough, and that ADD/ADHD wasn't real and eventually I believed it. Now, a teacher of about the same age (I'm back in school thanks to the panny), is suggesting I seek treatment. So I started looking. I looked for months. Nobody had availability. I actually was about to give up when my partner came found Modern Integrative Psychiatry on Yelp. Normally they're crazy booked out, but thanks to whatever circumstance, I was able to secure an appointment with PMHNP Ashley Winn. I've been seeing her for around 6 or 7 months now and honestly it was the best decision I ever made. She makes seeking treatment painless and effortless. We meet remotely so even though I no longer live in the best city in the universe, I'm able to see her from campus, my car, or wherever I have access to the internet. It's been a great experience and I can't recommend this office or Ms. Winn enough. For those, like me, who may have suffered for too long without seeking treatment due to the stigma: give it a shot. You'll be happy that you did.
