I was surprised with how friendly the Family Health, Pharmacy, Lab and Physical Therapy sections were. I walked in expecting to be scheduled 2-3 weeks out, but they were able to see me that same week (Family Health). Physical Therapy was definitely more challenging but they seem to have a great cohesive group. Pharmacy has an effective process in place, with a tv that tells you when your medications are ready for pick up. The Lab staff seemed very friendly. I noticed that almost each department has a board where you can post post it notes to tell them how they're doing. Keep up the great work, MDG!

I live about 40 min away so I asked if I could come in the next day to pick it up and they had lost it and asked me to come back the following day. I had also come in for an overseas physical and needed one paper signed, I didn't have it but my doctor told me to come back anyday so she could sign it. The doctor called out the following 3 days in a row, I can never get anyone on the phone, I only talk to a robot, so each day I had to drive 40 min there and 40 min back. A random nurse sent me to another location saying I was in the wrong spot. I told her my husband made the appointment here for me and then she asked me if I or my husband worked there- I said no, then she said exactly, so I know what im talking about and you don't. The people at the other place told me no, I am supposed to be at Schertz Medical Home and not at that location. When I came back to them they tried sending me away again. I asked to speak to my doctor and they told me no, I asked for my doctors email and they told me no. I said My doctor knows I was supposed to be here because she asked me to come in whenever. Finally the receptionist told me she would try and call someone. She then told me everyone was at lunch and to come back the following day AGAIN. I told her I would wait till they were done at lunch, she rolled her eyes and said she would go find someone if I was gonna wait. Someone came out shortly and I was able to get my paper signed. Moral of the story, they were the absolute worst, rude and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Communication is complete trash at this practice I got referred by my insurance for a PCP. I went for my first appt and it was okay staff is nice some you can tell have attitudes.. I was seen at my first appt for a UTI and knew I needed antibiotics. I called to follow up the next day and didn't get a call back until that next week by that time the UTI spread to my kidneys I was in so much pain. Finally doing my visit 2wks later I got a call stating that my urine came back positive and that I needed to start the antibiotics. I voiced my concerns to the front office and the medical assistant during my visit. They apologized and stated they would do better. Fast forward to 6 wks later I got my annual wellness visit completed with them recently and have been waiting for a call from the MA to let me know about my results for my pap. I've sent in portal messages followed up with them twice this week and still no call. Be mindful this is only my second visit with them ... I'm sorry but I'm a medical assistant myself and I know how the job is supposed to be done and to communicate with my patients regarding imaging, lab results, refills etc. it just shows how lazy this clinic is.
