When you get excellent care and you love your smile as much as I do it's understandable. This time I was there for my first ever in office teeth whitening. My teeth are already pretty white, but after the treatment they are prefect! I literally feel like a celebrity with my new smile. The absolute best part of this experience is that it was absolutely pain free! Prior to going in to see Dr. Roshan and his team, I had researched several horror stories of Yelpers who went to other dentist and left with their teeth in extreme pain. Many suffered from discomfort from tray placements, severe sensitivity and temporary gum discoloration. With that said, I was prepared to feel a little discomfort and pain. I searched at least 30 reviews from dentist all over Chicago and all of their customers listed this as a common side effect. To my surprise, I didn't feel anything! Olympia Fields Dental Associates is truly a modern state of the art facility, specializing in the comfort of their patients. The whole process was different than what I was expecting per my prior research. My gums were entirely covered by a heavy-duty mouth guard that fit super comfortably in my mouth, thus there was no risk of gum discoloration. Next, they put a topical treatment on my teeth and turned on the Zoom light for increments of 15 minutes and magically perfection was created! I literally slept through the whole process. Mind you, I never use to sleep at the dentist for fear that I would wake up with no teeth. However, I can truly say they've earned my confidence and I can trust them with my smile. I will post a couple pictures of my pearly whites! If you want to maintain your glamorous smile, visiting Dr. Roshan and his team is a must! Dr. Roshan does all of my checkups, but I actually had my teeth whitened by another young lady, who was absolutely fabulous! She was super knowledgeable on the process and took her time to explain everything to me in detail. She walked me step by step through the procedure and kept checking on me every step of the way (only to find I was sleep, lol)! She did a very thorough pre and post evaluation of my teeth and even showed me in the mirror, per a shades test, where my teeth were even whiter and brighter than before we started. I will update this review later when I get her name, so that you can ask for her when you go. Although, honestly every single person there does a spectacular job! They are truly a five star facility.

There is a gift bag placed on the chair for you. Most dental offices I have been too, usually give a bag that has a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss, and given on my way out. In my bag, I was given a water bottle, calendar, pen, and hygiene kit that consisted of a toothbrush, toothbrush cover, floss, toothpaste, tongue cleaner, and squeeze-a-toothpaste thing to help squeeze out all your toothpaste. And one of the best things, is the chair is a massaging chair! Hiliare introduced me to my dental assistant, Tracey. She took the films, and went over my health questionnaire. Tracey was great! From there, I met Sharon, my hygienist, then Dr. DiBenedetto. Dr. DiBenedetto went over everything Tracey and Sharon did, including my imaging. He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions, and gave recommendations. Finally, I went back to Sharon for my cleaning and she talked through everything she did, explained everything in detail. At the end, she scheduled my follow-up appointments. The office visit is about 2 hours, but we were in there a little bit longer because my husband is very sensitive to cleanings and they had to numb him. But other than this, for me, it didn't even seem that long because everything was so seamless from start to finish. This office is top notch and if you reside in the south suburbs of Illinois, I highly recommend coming here. You will not be disappointed.

The staff are very friendly. As an incoming patient I was able to take a conducted tour. This is a very impressive and logical office set up in an easy to find location with ample parking and comprehensive services and state of the art equipment. I was made aware of The Dental Assistance Savings Plan via Kleer.com at the outset, and am considering it as I retired from work with COBRA coverage from an insurance which is out of network for The Center. I read the Savings Plan form carefully and believe that I understand it. A decision should be made shortly. There seems to be confusion concerning billing practices at the Center. As I see it it is up to the patient to ask questions, take notes if needed and to make sure that they fully understand The Center's billing and receivables requirements. The person that I talked to is Shari, whom I talked to at The Center after wrapping up my last appointment. She is a very good billing manager and was very helpful. Thank you.

The office staff seems to handle things well and no one seems busy in the least. However, I have spent months calling and emailing trying to get the next stages of care for my kids set up without any reply. Finally I got a randomly sent (not in response to my emails) reply about setting up care, and was able to connect with someone. Set up the appointment needed for my youngest. They knew what type of appointment it was because they quoted me the price for it, and it was not a cleaning. Forty minutes before the appointment, when I have spent days prepping my autistic kid for the break in routine, I get a call asking why I'm coming in and saying the treatment is no longer needed. It was implied that I had made a regular cleaning appointment, which I 1) did not do, and 2) those are covered by our insurance and would not have cost anything. I was frustrated that my child missed out on this treatment due to the office's lack of communication with me, and I shared as much. Not a single apology. I was told they could see that they had returned "a call" and had not been able to leave me a voicemail. I called multiple times, have never had problems with voicemail not working, and had also emailed asking to set up services, which were not replied to. I cannot recommend this office for dental care. I feel awful that I let it go this long; I should have moved on after a few weeks of nonresponse instead of waiting a few months. I just thought we could get back on track with them. I don't believe they want our business and we will move on.

I called Thursday and they actually had appointments available Friday and Monday. I scheduled the appointment for Monday and received phone call and text reminders. When I arrived for the appointment, I was greeted immediately and upon completing the paperwork, they gave me a tour of the facility which is updated, clean, and nice. They took me to the room for the x-rays and then Dr. Durr performed the exam. I experienced Dr. Durr as progressional and kind, but I would have appreciated him giving me feedback regarding my x-rays and exam. He didn't share any information with me, which is a big contrast to my previous dentist who always provided a summary in terms of how my gums were doing, if the x-rays showed anything, if everything looked good, etc. Once the exam was finished, the woman who completes the x-rays indicated that I was approved to have my cleaning, which was strange since that was the reason I scheduled the appointment. The special offer included the x-rays, exam, and cleaning all for $49, which really is a great deal - so it was my assumption that of course the cleaning would happen. Then she says that it would be 20 minutes before I would have the cleaning and asked if that was ok. So I indicated that I didn't realize that there was a possibility that the cleaning wouldn't happen and if that's the normal process, new customers should receive that information when scheduling the appointment (e.g., please be aware that if anything significant is found on your x-rays or during the exam, the dentist may postpone your cleaning) for purposes of transparency. I also didn't really have a choice but to wait for the cleaning since that was my reason for coming in the first place. I will say that Dr. Durr was very accommodating and when he heard my concern, they did a little bit of rearranging so that I didn't have to wait the 20 minutes, which I really appreciated. The hygienist, Lisa, was personable and very thorough. As someone who gets my teeth cleaned every four months usually (although I'm off schedule so it's been about seven months), I felt she did a nice job and my teeth felt good. Non-related to my experience, but important to note, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of ethnic diversity used for their advertisements. But overall, really good experience and I'd definitely recommend.
