Having a diet coach has honestly changed my life for the better…read more Living with lymphocytic colitis isn't easy. There are days when your body feels unpredictable, when food feels like the enemy, and when energy levels can swing all over the place. Before working with my diet coach, I spent a lot of time guessing, trying different foods, reading conflicting advice, asking ChatGPT and hoping something would finally work. Working with Leila completely changed that. She helped me understand my body instead of fighting against it. We built a structured approach to eating that supports my condition, focuses on low-FODMAP principles, and prioritizes gut healing rather than just temporary fixes. Because of that guidance, I've been able to stabilize my symptoms, improve my energy, and feel far more confident about what I'm putting into my body every day. One of the biggest changes I've noticed is in the gym. By dialing in my nutrition, especially adding fruits before my workouts for clean, quick carbs, I've had better lifts, more consistent energy, and overall stronger sessions. On top of that, I'm actually hitting my diet goals consistently, which used to feel impossible but now 200 grams of protein is nothing! Leila is a cheat code, she knows all the tricks. What I appreciate most is that this wasn't just about food, it was about building a sustainable routine and learning how to listen to my body. When you're dealing with something like lymphocytic colitis, that kind of support can make all the difference. I'm genuinely grateful for the impact she's had on my health, my performance, and my life. I will be coming back to her as my body changes. The only difference is now I am happy man and can live a normal life

Eventually, 3 years ago, I was diagnosed with PCOS and was told I may need fertility treatment to conceive. I tried seeking help by my OBGYN, main health care doctors, and even seeking some fertility treatment, all to receive bandaid and cookie cutter "solutions" that didn't really help treat or find the cause of my issues. After being tired of not being heard and feeling not cared for I began doing a lot of research and discovered the holistic/naturopathic world and ultimately finding Dr. Nirvana. I began seeing Dr. Nirvana July of 2024 and to this day I have not only felt the most heard and understood, but have truly been seeing results and feeling so much better. She doesn't give bandaid or cookie cutter solutions, she actually cares and works to find the root cause of your issue through detailed labs and tests. She is the sweetest and is extremely knowledgeable. In just 8 months I have improved by gut health tremendously (night and day), I have lost over 25 lbs and don't feel as much inflammation as before, I have been able to balance my insulin and lower my bad cholesterol, and with her help I've been able to start regulating several of my hormones which we discovered I had severely unbalanced due to my PCOS which have caused my irregular cycles and infertility issues. She was carful in customizing a plan just for my needs. She is also very mindful of doing things progressively to not shock your body and feel good while going through healing. While Naturopathic care is not covered by many insurances and it can get rather expensive, it is truly so WORTH IT to actually see true results and find and fix the core problem. I am very satisfied with the progress I have seen and experienced and look forward to what is ahead as I continue treatment with Dr. Nirvana.
