I finally settled on a colorful martini glass made in the Republic of Czechoslovakia, but the three red leather art-deco counter stools almost made it into my car. But mostly because the woman manning the store (yes, I did intend that to be a pun) didn't bother to ask if we were looking for anything or if she could help us. This in spite of the fact that there were only two other shoppers in the place, so not as if there was a crush. Given this is newly opened within the last several months, maybe they are still learning the customer care ropes. But they have a lot of competition in the area as resale stores go so one thinks they'd be interested in top notch help for both buyers and possible consigners. We were in for both reasons, actually. I'm shopping for accessories for particular home location. And I have a hand knotted, vegetable dyed, Pakistan originated, wool area rug that I'm hoping to consign. They did have some rolled rugs standing in the store, so it may be they would take mine. But since the person working there ignored us, only a cursory hello in response to my "hi" to her, I think I'll continue looking for both consignment and buying. Ending on a high note, the place is spotless and some of the accessory items look as if new. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: Private lot. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Once you get in the door, the store is all on one floor with mostly ample clearances between items. But the parking lot here is another of many Boise area examples of parking that does not meet Federal ADA rules or Idaho Accessibility Building Code minimums. Neither for scope nor for design. However, that failure is the the strip mall owner's and not the store's. 3) NEIGHBOR: At the other end of the strip mall you'll find Model Home Furnishings which is recently under new ownership. You'll get a great welcome and helpful assistance from the women working there.

There are some antique-y things, some modern things, and some thing, things. This is a place you have to dig a bit. Shelves are full with treasures. Don't worry it isn't overwhelming, it is just right. The faces are so, so, so friendly here and I have never encounter a rude employee. Oh and the obvious, the money goes to a great cause. I guess talking about not having enough money to pay for your taxes was more important than greeting or acknowledging me. But every other person that came in after me was greeted. I found it to be amusing and annoying at the same time. I did read in a previous review that they were racist here. I don't care if you don't like me cause of my race, just be kind cause I'm a customer in your store. I made my way through the store checking out all the different vendors. As much as I wanted to buy so many stunning pieces, the price point that these folks have given these collectables is out of this world. I can't believe some of the prices on teacups, dolls, vases and pictures. I can see why these rooms are crammed with stuff, no one is buying them. Even with a 20% off sign, it's still not tempting enough to buy anything. I did check out the clearance stuff and it was still ridiculously priced. I don't know why it's called a clearance section when it was all still expensive. I did find a very pretty teapot that wasn't overly priced. I wanted to snag a couple other things but I just couldn't persuade myself enough to spend that kind of money on a teacup or a pink depression glass wine glass. So, I bought my teapot and was content with my purchase. This store and the vendors are really neat. But, the prices here are just obscene and out of this world. I usually just go find a place to sit down and maybe take a nap while she looks around. From the front this place looks smaller than it is because once inside you realize how massive this place is. They have upstairs and downstairs plus other vendors off to the sides it's really pretty impressive how much selection they have. Staff was super nice and kept greeting us along the journey. As far as value it's like any antique shop and while we didn't make any purchases yesterday I am sure all things are negotiable.

Depending on who the vendor is, you'll find tea cups, dolls, furniture, sports memorabilia, etc. This shop is very bright and vibrant which is nice. It's great to have good lighting in the venue for people to check things out. I ended up not finding what I was looking for but I probably could have bought every tea cup in this joint. I love tea cups. This shop was fun to walk around and check out. I look forward to coming back and seeing if I can find any treasures next time.
