Since our last experience was wonderful we decided to go back and entrust Ms. Maria and her staff with our daughter. We are glad we did. Our daughter really enjoyed herself, she came home excited to talk about her day, she sang us songs she learned at school, and had a positive attitude when she was home. All of the ladies there are just wonderful and caring. I'm glad Ms. Maria was apart of our family needs this time around as she was the last time we were there. I highly recommend Indio Learning Village. It was sad this time around knowing that this was the last time using Ms. Maria's service since our daughter will be entering Kinder.

I've had my hair cut, colored, high lighted, manicures, pedicures, full sets and skin care appointments, and the students have consistently done a wonderful job. My services have always been enjoyable, which is why it's disappointing to write this review. My concern isn't with the students it's with how the advertised senior discount is now being applied. The Milan Institute advertises a 20% Senior/Military Discount on hair, nail, and skincare services. For all of my previous visits, the discount was applied in a way that matched my understanding of the advertisement. However, during my last appointment, I was told the discount only applies to one service on my ticket instead of all eligible services received during the same visit. As a senior on a fixed income, that made a significant difference. My appointments that were typically around $110 increased to more than $160 because of how the discount was calculated. Palm Desert and surrounding areas have a large senior population, and many retirees choose Milan Institute because they believe they're receiving a meaningful senior discount. If the discount is intended to apply only to the highest-priced service on your ticket or only one service per visit, I believe that limitation should be clearly disclosed in the website advertisement so customers know exactly what to expect before booking multiple services. I'm giving two stars because the students continue to provide excellent work, but I want other seniors to be aware that the advertised discount may not be be applied the way they might reasonably expect. I truly hope Milan Institute clarifies its senior discount policy so customers can make informed decisions.

The teachers and staff are caring, patient, and dedicated. They were also very helpful during potty training which helped so much. Each morning, they check children's temperatures, which gives us parents peace of mind and shows their strong focus on health and safety. The school is very well organized with daily routines, activities, holiday events, learning programs, and strong parent communication. I always appreciated the progress reports and updates, showing how involved and attentive the teachers are. The environment is always clean, welcoming, and well managed, with consistent routines, rules, and food policies. Many teachers and staff have been there for many years, which speaks highly of the school's stability and management. My son had evaluation for speech therapy in which when I started services with let's talk they told me that they would have morning available appointments after we did the evaluation we would be able to get started. Nothing was mentioned about months and months long waiting list. After my son had his evaluation no follow up was done at all with me. I had to call back multiple times myself and inquire about what was going on in which I was told his report was being completed and after that they would call me no call ever came. I had to keep calling them back five weeks after his evaluation they finally told me that he is on a waiting list for 3 to 6 months and I don't even think they would've ever told me that if I didn't call myself. Again I have no issues with the office. I really enjoyed the therapist and I wish that my son could start services there but 3 to 6 months is just a really long time when looking for early intervention.
