You can run all over checking prices and service as I did years ago and it always led me back to Appliance Depot. They know their stuff are friendly and have that kind of service that's been lost on the big stores. I see there's a review here with one star telling you how horrible this place is, to me it's laughable how far off base this is. Trust me, stop in and talk to the people, you will not be disappointed. One more thing, if you're repairing an appliance you call them up and tell them what's going on they will know what you need and if it's worth fixing. Very helpful if your the handyman type of person.

I bought a Frigidaire Range Infinite Switch from Appliance Depot more than a year ago and finally…read morehad a repairman come to install it today. (I usually wait until I have a full day of work for him each time.) Clearly, it is past their return policy of 30 days. I ordered online, but called to make sure I was ordering the correct part for my model cooktop. They recommended and sent the wrong part. So, I called today to see if I could send it back and get the correct part.* I wasn't asking for a refund. After speaking with a woman for some time I asked to speak with the owner. Don reiterated that I was calling more than a year past their return policy and that there was nothing he could do because he didn't know who I spoke with. It doesn't matter who I spoke with, it is his company and it's his policy. Reading the recent reviews it seems the current ownership/management has a few very unhappy customers. I'm one of them. I had heard about the stellar work of Junk Happens and gave them a call. I received an estimate right away and scheduled a date for them to come out. The day before the junk removal date I received a call confirming the time and all the details, something I appreciate. When the workers arrived they all introduced themselves and we walked through the home and garage to indicate the items we needed removed. I was very impressed with the professionalism and hard work from the crew. They brought 2 trucks: one for all the furniture, dishes, planters and other items they would donate at Goodwill and one truck for the junk. They cleared out our furnace room and basement far more quickly than I imagined! They also handily took all the furniture we wished to have removed. All in all I highly recommend Junk Happens! They were top notch in every way.

I had an appointment quickly, and the gentleman came out on Friday morning. I had been given a 9 - 11 window. Since I was working from home, I wasn't too concerned. I showed him the washer in the basement and gave him as much detail as I could on what was happening. Not long after leaving him to his work, he came back up to let me know that a part was needed to repair the machine and that the cost would be $75. I was happy to hear that it wasn't going to cost me a lot to get the machine fixed or learn that I'd have to replace it. He left to get the part and had everything done a short time afterward. The total cost of the visit was $190 (there is a visit fee separate from any parts that might be needed). He ran the machine before leaving to ensure that everything was working as it should. I was quite happy to get caught up on my laundry over the weekend. If/when the dryer starts to fail, Anderson will be my first and only call. They are easy to work with, don't keep you waiting all day for them to arrive, and quickly suss out and fix any problems they find. Everything was explained in understandable terms, as well.

I would not recommend Anderson Mechanical…read more We originally had Anderson come to our home when we were having furnace issues and water pooling around the furnace. After recently having another HVAC company inspect our system, we discovered significant rust, standing water, and damage inside the furnace. We were also given documented concerns regarding the condensate drainage/setup. We contacted Anderson (being hung up on twice) and provided photos, invoices, and the other HVAC company's findings. Anderson denied responsibility, and we have been extremely disappointed with how our concerns were handled. We are now having to replace our furnace and AC at significant expense. Based on our personal experience, I would strongly encourage others to do their research before hiring Anderson Mechanical. I personally would not use this company again or recommend them to friends or family.

One thing I will say, they do advertise an $89.95 service for 10 vents plus the two main trunk lines. They wound up cleaning all our vents, which does add more cost. James was great in explaining the need to do the whole house rather than just the 10 vents. Also, if you have a newer furnace, they'll need to create access points which will add to the overall cost. Overall, I was satisfied with the service and very happy with the techs. They explained everything and showed me pictures as advertised.

DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS !! WASTE OF MONEY AND DISRESPECTFUL !…read more My 95 year old grandma had these people out to clean her carpets. They charged her 30 dollars extra to clean a spot that needed extra attention. The guy didn't even put effort in to clean the spot in the living room, you can still see the spot the same as it was before he came out. The carpet after he left was so wet you could see puddles from your foot prints. They also advertise an offer of 10% off for seniors and he did not give her this even when she asked about it while he was writing up the invoice with her. Worst of all he opened her refrigerator without asking and tried to take a canned drink for himself and when my grandma said something about it and told him to get out of there he said "I need something to drink" and was rude about her not having a beverage for him after she offered him a glass of water and he said no to it.
