We had a great experience with Charlotte Landscape & Patio!…read more Robert and his crew helped us deal with an extremely wet and muddy area of our yard, by redesigning the drainage and updating the dry-beds with river rock. The crew was on time, courteous, diligent, and did everything we asked. They even went above and beyond, and added some extra drainage channels as well! And after the project was done, they fully cleaned the area, power washed the driveway, and even re-seeded the lawn areas they had to drive the equipment on.... I also have to mention that we found Robert's quote extremely affordable. We do have other areas in our yard that we may alter in the future, and Robert and his crew will be our first call! First I had a difficult time communicating with them. It took me multiple times reaching out to…read morethem to confirm what day they were coming. One of the days they were scheduled to come I had to text them the day before to check because it had rained and I didn't get a response back til 8am the morning of the appointment saying it had been rained out from the day prior. After we finally got a date, I didn't hear the day before what time I should expect the crew. I texted that morning asking and got told 30 minutes before they showed up. The crew was very polite any time we had to engage while they were on site. They made sure to ask me where exactly the sod was going. I asked if they could remove a small stump where the sod was going and if they couldn't I would remove it. They kindly said they could. Once going to pay my invoice I noticed they had a charge of $350 for debris removal but no debris were removed and I was never asked if I wanted them to take the debris which I would have said no. I ended up sharing the camera recording that showed nothing was removed! This ended up getting removed as they said there was confusion and that taking away the pallets from the soil & sod from the site was not considered debris. The sod looked great post laying down however two days later when we went to install the sprinkler system we were stunned to see what was underneath. I had been charged $400 for top soil, if you look at the pictures there is hardly any top soil under the sod. I was told they would prep the ground but yet you see rocks, sticks, etc so the ground was not moved though it's claimed to have been raked. The backyard is that tough clay like dirt so it needs to be roughed and prepped to ensure its growth. It's apparent it was not. When sharing the videos and photos with the company asking for resolution or partial refund. I got told that this was up to their standard, they did the proper prep and there was $400 worth of top soil there. I also got told they already gave me a discount by removing the debris charge!! Though there were not debris removed and were now saying the pallets did count as removal. No partial refund or even correction of the work they did. I unfortunately will not be using them again though I originally had considered using them for my front lawn later in the year.

I reached out to this company Wednesday the 15th after seeing its reviews on Google. Raheim was…read morequick to respond and was at our house by 6pm to take a look at our needs; two trees in the front needing trimmed and multiple trees in the backyard, including one that had multiple branches hanging over our sunroom. He said he could call his crew in and start right away. We were hesitant since it was late but Raheim was adamant he and his team could get it done. He started on our front trees while he waited for the crew. By the time they got here it was getting dark. I again expressed concern to Raheim and he again insisted they could get it all done before it got dark. By the time they finished the front and went to the back, it was difficult to see. I again suggested we reschedule to finish as what needed done was close to our house and shed and I worried something would get damaged. Raheim said no they would finish it and asked me if I had a spotlight. A spotlight. I looked over and noticed one area was VERY bare; the crew had cut down a tree Raheim and I agreed would stay. I was upset and insisted they stop since they couldn't see and to come back Friday the 19th to finish the job. Raheim said he would replace the tree and sent us information of where to select the item Raheim was supposed to pick up our replacement tree he agreed to buy Thursday. Friday, he says he will be there by 9:30am. 8:55am he asks if we had picked out our tree then recommended not planting it until a month later (see photos) I was working from home but went out to meet the crew at 9:45am and make sure they knew what needed to be cleared out. They were not clear on what all needed to go. Raheim showed up around 10:30am, informed me if I wanted my back sunroom roof completely clear of tree limbs that we would need to pay more. I was told clearing the limbs showed more limbs higher up and that would cost more. As the professional, I would have expected him to bring this to my attention prior to agreeing to clear our sunroom. Raheim said he was going up front for a smoke...and I never saw him again. I was stuck trying to work while supervising his team to make sure the job was done. To top things off, when his crew finished, I thanked them and asked if Raheim would be coming back for payment. They called him, he called me and said he'd be back "later in the evening" to pick up the check. He showed up at 2pm looking for the check (see photos). I really enjoyed meeting Raheim and his energy and know-how was very marketable. However, that is where the professionalism ended.
