I went back to PV twice and they suggested returning to Modern Focus as the lenses matched the script. The Dr at MF said my vision changed and gave me less of a correction. I feel her 11/25 script was inaccurate but she said no and charge me $60 for the new one because I didn't buy glasses there. What a rip off! PV is making my new lenses for free. Now that's good customer service. Oh, and I was the doctor's first appt of the day and she arrived 15 minutes late to work. Like my time isn't worth anything? Needless to say, I canceled my next exam. I went to Dr Gould for years and always received excellent care and customer service. MF could use a little training on both areas.

Bad experience at Dr Manjoney's practice with Dr Pulice. He was very rude and impatient. My 97 year…read moreold brother went to him since the Dr has Spanish listed as one of his languages and because he is local. But Pulice was very arrogante and dismissive. He had a bad attitude about needing previous records, even though the history was detailed on their intake form. Then he was becoming very upset that my 97 year old brother wasn't walking fast enough out of the exam room: so my niece tried to ask him to be patient because my brother is 97 years old, has bad arthritic knees, poor vision and walks with a cane. He got angry and yelled for them to never come back. We have never experienced a doctor with such unprofessionalism. To make things worse, they keep trying to bill him more than $100 when they are not allowed to do so. We tried to call the billing department but was met with more unprofessional behavior. My brother has a special needs plan that combines Medicare and Medicaid. With this kind of "bill first" plan, providers are prohibited from billing the patient at all. The billing rep would not listen to this fact and just kept repeating a robotic statement that the Medicaid isn't active. I told her this was not true because the renewal was just approved recently. I was even looking at the CT "DSS Connect" website which the budget letter showed Medicaid as active. But she just kept repeating her false statement over our requests that they stop sending bills. Then she hung up while we were till talking. We called back but got a voicemail box instead. We left a message asking for a supervisor to call back for a complaint about the rude and unprofessional behavior but no one called back. Instead they keep sending this bill.

I got a call the day before the appointment reminding me of my appointment and advising me of my copay. To my surprise they want an additional $39.00 to my copay, which is zero. Then suddenly i had a memory spring up in my head when i visited a different lenscrafters location on a separate occasion and they mentioned the same thing but its an optional service...not required!!! I could only imagine how many people they fooled into paying the additional cost for an "optional" service. I was so angry because i was advised of this the day prior so i had to scramble to find another optometrist that had some integrity. The receptionist is obnoxious!

I have had two eye surgeries since, and it's only been about a month! Go to a real doctor that dilates your eyes. You need a real diagnosis, your sight is depending on it. If I didn't catch this My retina could have detached and I would be permanently blind. I am in my 30s this is very uncommon for someone my age too!
