Every member of their staff is dedicated to providing an outstanding and unparalleled level of care. I was nervous to switch at 24 weeks pregnant, but made the plunge after a friend recounted their experience. This was the BEST decision I could have made for my pregnancy and labor/delivery. It was evident from my first visit that all of these professionals are deeply passionate about what they do. The receptionists were so friendly and welcoming; they always remembered who I was, and greeted me warmly upon my arrival. The nurses were so gentle and sweet, and I felt that they truly cared for me and my well being. I cannot say enough wonderful things about all of the midwives on staff. Each midwife proved to be an expert in her field. They all showed kindness and compassion for me, and were invested in my experience throughout the process. They all spent a considerable amount of time with me for each appointment to ensure all my questions were addressed, and that I felt comfortable and at ease. When it came time to deliver, the midwife on call was PHENOMENAL; she exceeded all of my expectations. It felt as though she didn't leave my side for the full 36 hours, although at some point she managed to deliver 4 other babies. Being a first time mom, she was very patient with me and explained things thoroughly as I progressed. I felt like we were a team, and that I was in full control of the process. I was looking for a practice that would allow for a low intervention birth, and I found it here with NSAGO. I felt safe that, should I become high risk at any time, the team would have the tools to ensure a smooth delivery, all the way up to a C-section if necessary. Thanks to the expertise of my team, I was able to deliver vaginally. I can say with certainty that this would not have been the same experience had I stayed with my former practice of OBs. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough! Thank you NSAGO!

There were several…read moreinstances where I experienced poor communication, mistakes, and lack of accountability from this Northbrook office. Firstly, I was never contacted by a provider with my first test results for my pregnancy until I reached out to your office myself. This lack of internal communication was concerning and made me feel like my health was not a priority. Secondly, I had a concerning issue with my thyroid that I asked to be tested for, but it was forgotten during my lab work. I had to come back to the office for another blood test and was charged for an additional visit, even though it was your mistake. No one took accountability or even apologized until I came in person to talk. Thirdly, I had billing issues with your office charging me twice for a bill I had already paid. It took me weeks to get it resolved, and it caused a lot of unnecessary stress. Additionally, it was difficult for me to reach a provider as I had to convince the front desk to leave a message for the doctor since there was no other way to contact them. Overall, I do not recommend your practice as I felt like I was just another business transaction and not a person. I am leaving your practice to find better patient care that values communication, accountability, and patient needs.

The billing department has never answered the phone in almost three weeks of attempts. They have also ignored multiple voicemails, emails, and letters from both my insurance company and me requesting a refund. At my visit, my medical history was incorrect and the nurse wasn't familiar with the common medication I take for a women's health issue. I thought breast exams are standard for a women's wellness exam, but I had to specifically request one from the doctor before she walked out the door. The doctor did not address one of the two issues I discussed with her; I had to send an email asking for follow up. Comparatively, my post-visit summary listed numerous "items covered in the exam" that we never actually discussed! After one visit with this office, I am considering going elsewhere next year. I am extremely displeased with the billing team's lack of responsiveness, and I am unhappy with the medical team's lack of attention to detail.

After reading a bunch of other reviews, I switched my insurance over to her and never looked back. She is knowledgeable, patient, responsive, honest, and every other positive thing you'd look for in an OB. I was almost 3 months pregnant at our first visit and reeling from my previous terrible experience with Dr. Herriges and his practice (that's a whole other story - feel free to read that review if you want to know what not to look for in an OB). She answered all of my questions, helped my icky feelings fade away, and put my mind at ease in a matter of 15 minutes. She helped me get my very limited medical records sent over, reviewed my results from those tests and let us know that everything was going well thus far in a matter of days. Throughout my pregnancy, she never cancelled an appointment, was extremely communicative, and kept me confident that we could totally do this. Her office has a nurse available to answer questions M-F and they call you back promptly with answers to your questions, no matter how silly the questions may seem. On to my delivery, which was unplanned to a degree. Our babe was breech, and we tried spinning babies exercises, moxa, acupuncture, and nothing worked. We made the decision to try ECV, for which Dr. Warner referred us to a MFM specialist. On the day of the procedure at 37 weeks and 2 days, things did not go as planned that Dr. let us know we would delivering that day and that Dr. Warner knew and she'd be over as soon as she finished with one other patient. Holy. Crap. Well, Dr. Warner arrived, made sure we understood what was happening, walked me into the OR, soothed my frazzled psyche with some deep breaths and her ultra calm demeanor, and we were on our way. Dr. Warner truly is the best OB in Evanston, at least she is the best one for me. I absolutely adore her and her team!

Evaluation of recurrent pregnancy loss and hormone stimulation of both men and women are also included in what we do. We have always been interested in offering the newest cutting edge treatments. Most recently innovations with stem cells and stem cell derived exosomes (small particles that contain growth factors, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating factors) can be used to actively stimulate the growth of atrophic thin endometrium and can also reverse male and female infertility. We also use laser and radio-frequency (RF) with stem cell stimulation to induce vaginal rejuvenation. RF stimulates cells to produce thicker tissue that improve urinary leakage, vaginal lubrication, sexual function and mild prolapse.
