They are massively disrespectful and think you should just take their attitude and smile. They don't answer questions and on the off chance they do are very rude. Just all around rude nasty people. Mr dennis told me he would help me and was initially very kind, inviting me in his office. My ex girlfriend had worked there for years and she referred me. She was hoping they would help me but I later found out they mistreated her as well (while pregnant) He gave me a very reasonable quote for getting me caught up .. I explained that I had 2 uncles die of covid and we were struggling to raise money for our family. I was later informed by a secretary that I owed a large sum and it was only going to cover one year (for which there was going to be no return because it was so late.. ) It was very upsetting and I told her to tear it up and that I would have to bring my business elsewhere I would have never agreed to $2000 dollars for what would have amounted to a half hour of paper work She called me unethical and said they would do the one year for free (in a very condescending tone). She said and I quote, "we will tear up your check and to consider this one year of a return a gift from us" The disagreement was upsetting but I was relieved and grateful at the same time. I later got a bill in the mail My friend later told me that after giving these folks blood sweat and tears they pulled a similar stunt on her. I guess this is how the rich stay rich. The guy has a shiny 120 thousand dollar car out front in a very working class neighborhood where many of us are struggling to get through these hard times. I don't understand why they wouldn't have just sent me somewhere else. They offer to do the one year free, then send me a bill after all .

My toddler has a blood disease and my significant other is out of work due to his recent diagnoses of cancer. It took me countless attempts to reach him by phone, by email. Which was really important to me in knowing how were going to keep up with our bills for the next 8 months while he is out of work getting chemotherapy. Thad was not responsive at all. Did not communicate with me at all. I understand with everything going on with the pandemic things will be slowed down. But he wasn't emailing me back, or calling me back at all which is unprofessional. He then put the blame on another accountant as to why no one has reached out to me in the 2-3 months I was trying to get a hold of him. If I could take everything back, I wouldn't have paid for him to do my taxes because he was terrible and I will not be doing my taxes with this company in the future.
