Cashiers are very friendly and helpful. Prices are slightly high on some things but they pretty much have anything I would need for anything in my home, plus novelties for holidays of course and some house plants and things mixed in. Always a nice experience. read more

This is a huge store w an amazing variety of products, a deli, a pharmacy, a bakery, a beer and wine section, a seafood counter where you can get items from the case battered and deep-fried while you wait, and more. I hadn't been inside a Weis Markets in such a long time until i found one nearby where we were eating yesterday. And although we left without buying a single thing - because this particular Weis is small and doesn't have much selection - they also didn't have a big majority of the stuff we generally shoot for. Among a few things we looked for any signs of bananas but we just couldn't find them and the stores' layout in produce was confusing. My brother found some single cake pieces but knew he couldn't carry it out without it melting before reaching home 2+ hours away, so forwent the piece and placed it back on the shelves. We all noticed a brand that another competitor store in a nearby state sells - TopCare- and could tell a price difference that seemed to be higher between Weis and that competitor for the same product. (tops Friendly markets in NY sells TopCare with the same branding and contact details on the box. I did like the reminder that social distancing was in place on the interior floor marker as you walk in near produce, but after that everybody is on the honor system. Im okay with that, given my stste takes their coronavirus precautions several steps farther. read more

I just wanted to say that the staff in the seafood department were fantastic to me and my family! I am handicapped by Arthritis & had car trouble making it difficult to get groceries; My sister stopped by to pick up the items that I really needed for a family gathering. These folks in the seafood department (staff and the Manager "Issac") were so polite, professeional, Knowledgable and kind, I simply had to post this review to express my gratitude for how you saved the day for us! Got my usual couple hundred dollar order and went to checkout. They had one checker for a line almost out the door. Left the cart iin the isle. The manager was out in the parking lot collecting a cart. I won't be shopping there any time soon. read more

Asked for the manager because my card was continuously being declined even though I had more than enough money in my bank account, and instead recieved an awful excuse as to why their credit card machine was working and that I should find another way to pay, INSTEAD of them finding another way to help the customer when clearly their credit card machines weren't working. Extremely disrespectful, I would never recommend shopping here to my worst enemy. read more

My local grocery store had closed so I needed to stop by to get a couple items. I was shocked when I walked it. The store was severely under stocked, dirty, and smelled terrible.....I thought because we were in the middle of a pandemic things would be kept clean. Still, I went on and checked off my list (which was extremely hard to do because half of the produce they did have was moldy). Doesn't take Apple Pay Wasted my evening. Before filling my cart with groceries, I asked a lady at the register if they take Apple Pay. She says "yeah, I think so" ... A little more than an hour later, everything was scanned, bagged and back in my cart. I go to pay andddd they don't take Apple Pay. If I could leave no stars I would. This was the worst shopping experience ever. When I came in it wreaked of asbestos infestation and my 4 year old son (who suffers severe asthma) simply could not breath, already being hard enough wearing our masks. I asked for a manager to inform them of the problem and they simply told me they did not care. Whilst shopping I was constantly followed throughout the store by an employee. And I felt very upset that I couldn't even shop at my local grocery store without being racially profiled. Also some of my produce was moldy when I arrived home, absolutely horrendous and terrible store. I rather starve than shop here. read more

Extremely poor produce, rude employees, and check the expiration dates. Customer service attendant threatened to call the police and refused to cash in my coinstar receipt, on the basis of my attitude. She was argumentative and disrespectful. Turns out she just needed her managers permission to give out the cash, but was dramatic enough to make it an ordeal. My advice is to keep driving to Wegman's or better yet, support Everything Natural. read more

I was shopping with my youngest son at the Clarks Summit store yesterday and in the next isle over, I overheard an employee berating another employee over their performance. This person's voice was loud enough that I heard the conversation 2 isles over, thankfully no colorful language was used, but I was afraid it was going to come down to that, fearing having to usher my son away and put a detour in our shopping. I felt bad for the employee being chewed out in public by their supervisor and feel this is a very poor image for a company to portray and VERY unprofessional. Overall I'd rate this store a one star. Outside of the awkward experience that I detailed, I found the staff gave off a vibe of being overworked and underpaid, which makes a lot of sense. The parking lot is very dirty and laid out strange, very cramped for space. The store itself is old and in need of a major facelift. It's obvious the staff has no time or incentive to keep the place clean and tidy. The isle lay-out is cramped and space seems to be luxury compared to every corner being taken up by either display or poorly-placed promotional stuff. I wouldn't shop at this store again or recommend it to anyone. read more

I now understand the terrible reviews. Go to deli to have sub made at 8:30pm. No one knew if they were still making them. Finally a lady comes over and looked at us reluctantly as she held the stale sub role in her hand and said this would really put her behind tonight. No subs for us. Every time we use the online ordering and pickup they always mess up our order. They call and tell us that they are out of certain items that we almost always find when we go into the store on our own. It seems like no one there has a clue. Not sure why we try to use the online ordering and pickup as not is not convenient when you still have to go into the store anyway to find the items you order or go to another store to get the items since they are not in-stock as expected. read more

The deli here is absolutely terrible. When you're first in line, it takes 15 minutes to get a half pound of cheese, ham, and turkey. There is no urgency. The deli attendant has a beard but no hair net on his beard. The rest of the store is great but the fact that I have to wait 15-20 minutes when I'm first in line is not the greatest. read more

I'm usually happy with this store because I am familiar with it and I typically like the self checkout.... but tonight (1.5 days before the biggest food holiday of the whole year THANKSGIVING) the self checkouts aren't working properly and there is only ONE register open for the ENTIRE store?! What the heck! I have one item to checkout (a bottle of infant medicine) and I was stuck behind 4 large orders and 3 probably 20 items or less. OPEN MORE FREAKING LANES WEIS! read more
