Dr Allison Weinkle is great. She has great confidence as her experiance is broad based. Her apperaance belies her experiance as I thought Dr. Allison was a young 20 something doctor. I didn't ask her age, but from her credentials, this beautiful young lady is 30 something. I appreciate somebody that enjoys their work. I can't say enough about the practice, all beautiful young ladies, willing to help. I drive 1&1/2 hours in horrible traffic, but it's worth it. Had to have 2 skin cancer minor dermatology surgeries, one a Mohs, the other an excision. Went to Weinkle Dermatology. For starters, the initial call to the office staff was stellar. Very polite and well informed. The actual surgeries went smoothly. The doctor was I think Dr Allison Weinkle? Very well spoken, patient, and friendly. Made my scary day much nicer! The follow up appts and stitches removals were fast and painless. The whole staff, from front desk, to doctors, to follow up personnel, are amazing. Let me tell you something about Susan H Weinkle, MD.... You would be hard pressed to find a doctor that demonstrates the degree of passion, caring, and understanding that she does. When Dr. Weinkle found me, I was a pitiful sight, sitting on the floor of my hospital room suffering the most intense, painful, allergic reaction. Coined 'Erythema multiforme', reference pictures. She took one look at me and immediately began breaking down my condition, explaining in DETAIL the plan of action & the risks associated. (Not to mention, secondly, I was DESPERATE for a shower), & in MINUTES the orders had been arranged with the nurses so I could be made as comfortable as possible. She then proceeded to visit me every single day to monitor my progress. I literally saw her several more times than ANY other practitioner assigned to my case. Seeing as it was likely we would run into issues later on, she gave me her personal contact information, allowing me to have a direct line to my lovely advocate. 2 weeks later, I was discharged. My steroid medication was phoned into a Walgreens Pharmacy. I went to pick it up. Surprise surprise All the sudden my insurance didn't cover the pills they sent over... the bill was $400. Guess who came through to fix that? No, not Blake Medical Center. No, not the charge nurse who told me some doctor should be calling later that day (which, never happened). I called Dr. Susan Weinkle. She contacts the store, arranges for the correct medication, & (probably by magic) settles my bill at $12. All within a matter of MINUTES. She is truly a godsend. Lin Hall who works here is a life saver! When I was a teenager my acne was severe, to say the least, and after going to about a half a dozen dermatologists she was the person who gave me the right prescription that totally transformed my skin. Several years later I now live in NYC and went to the "top" dermatologists in my area and none of them could produce any results with an issue I had with my skin. I finally had had enough and flew down to see Linn who cleared my skin up in just a couple of weeks. Not only is Linn amazing at what she does and incredibly friendly it was also cheaper for me to fly down to Florida and self pay my visit then it was to see even one of the other dermatologist I saw in the city. Do yourself a favor and skip all the others and just beeline to Linn's door. read more

I am immensely grateful and happy that I was recommended to see Dr. Susan Weinkle. She is highly professional, with a warm, reassuring manner. Dr. Weinkle listened to me and examined my problem and quickly designed a plan for treatment, explaining what a realistic expectation would be for a very difficult problem that I had under my eyes. After the treatment, she handed me the mirror and I was so happy, I burst into tears of joy. I felt I once again looked like myself. I will be returning for more treatments, both cosmetic and general annual follow up. I made an appointment six weeks ago for an early morning appointment for the Doctor to look at a cyst on my neck which my primary care doctor wanted Dr. Weinkle to look at for skin cancer. My appointment was for 9:00AM today which I confirmed yesterday with Dr. Weinkle's office. I have seen Dr. Weinkle several times previously for similiar problems and was aware of long waits in between her cutting out the problem and stiching up the incision. Dr. Weinkle as others have stated practices assembly line procedures with long waits as the norm. In my case, I deliberately asked for the earliest appointment long before my visit as I did not want to spend the whole day in her waiting room. I left at 9:30AM without seeing Weinkle. read more

What a major disappointment! I went in at 8:30A for MOHS surgery on a squamous cell on my chin. She cut it out by 9A and I was sent back to the waiting area. I waited three hours (no exaggeration!) before I got my incision stitched up. Weinkle never spoke to me during or after the procedure. (She and the nurse did have a nice discussion of what they were going to wear to an upcoming party.) When I complained about the wait, the nurse said she does a production line of cutting everyone, treating other patients, then stitching up the incisions. My incision is crooked and when the stitches were removed, one area had not closed up. I've had three other MOHS from other docs and this is the worst scar and worst experience I've ever had. I thought she had a rep for being attuned to ladies' needs. Not so. I wouldn't go back on a bet. read more
