To recap, I was…read moreusing the rower when I was told by staff that the rower will need to be used for the HIIT class which will be starting in a few minutes. I did not get off the rower since there were other rowers available for the class. I spoke with the manager and requested a rower be moved up to the second level with the other cardio machines. I primarily use the rower since it's a total body workout. When I entered the gym today, I was pleasantly surprised to see staff and the manager moving a rower upstairs, as I had requested. I felt validated and not dismissed. Having the rower upstairs is a game changer. I no longer hear the blasting music and I am actually able to focus on my workout.

She devised a plan that allowed me to strengthen the muscles I needed to making sure my back was always supported and I was comfortable with exercise. She was very aware of my firm and made sure I was doing everything g correctly. After a couple of months with her I feel infinitely more comfortable in the gym and using the equipment and I see the results. The pain in my shoulder and back have gone away. I would highly recommend Katie and plan to continue buying lessons to periodically check in with her.

The location is perfect for using the Park & Ride off Squadron or running errands on Main St in New City. I did 10 sessions with Joe Carioscia at 6:30 in the morning - Tuesday's & Thursdays.. He was always on time and ready to go. He had me do a wide range of lifts and movement. I definitely got bigger and improved my core. I recommend him if you want a solid trainer who knows his stuff but isn't trying to turn you into a weight lifting fanatic. Matt, gym owner, was there almost everyday. Good guy, very knowlegable makes you feel welcome in the gym. The gym is clean and well maintained. Has a private gym feel and vibe but not stuffy or obnoxious.

only reviewing the bike studio. i am not a spin snob at all, but i was very underwhelmed with the…read moreequipment that was provided. first i got on a bike and the strap that'd would go over my feet was broken. then the instructor comes over to the new bike i was on and says half of the screens work on the bikes; my screen at first worked. when the class started, my screen wouldn't go on at all. it was very hard to gauge how much i was spinning and my rpm since it clearly was broken. the knob to increase the intensity of the bike was very loose and did not work well. overall, i was not pleased with this experience and couldn't believe that several of the bike's screens didn't even work. i will say though that the staff was very nice.
