So far so good! Today was my first visit. Did a tandem sauna visit with the hubby, it was so nice and HOT!! Staff were very helpful and the facilities were very nice. As I said so far so good because because we are going back in a couple of weeks to do another sauna and then do a float! So more to come once we get the full experience. read more

I loved everything about this place and the experience of floating. They're temporarily closed to relocate now and I will truly miss my floats. I had the membership. I do wish they offered a mid-tier membership that let you float once a week at a reduced rate. They offer a daily float, which comes out to about $6 a day, but that's a little high for me. And once a month just isn't enough! Floating really helps me think things through and reach a state that's beyond relaxed - the flow state. It helped my depression as well. Plus they offered tea in a lovely, comfortable lounge afterwards so you didn't have to rush out after the relaxing float. read more

Wonderful place to experience Total Sensory Deprivation. I have always wanted to try it after seeing the movie Altered States. The service was excellent and the facilities clean and top notch. I have been back twice and I am now looking forward to going at least once a month. read more

I've been consistently going to weightless for the past 5 years and its the best way for me decompress and relax. Its always clean, they have a knowledgeable and friendly staff, and serene atmosphere. I would highlight recommend them especially going into the winter season. I use their sauna religiously. My husband purchased a 3 float session for me for Christmas. When I went to book the first float in February I was told the gift certificate expired. even though their own website states their gift cards are good for 365 days from purchase. Well, I would just like to say...I'm kind of speechless. I didn't know what to Expect going in but it exceeded my expectations. The owner Greg was outstanding from start to finish. It was so relaxing & just what we needed to take some of this "weight" off especially during these strange Covid times. I have never in my life felt compelled to write a Yelp review, but today I created an account just so I could sing the praises of this place. I floated for the first time and it blew my mind. If you want to do something that relaxes your mind and body and spirit, this is way better than a massage, in my opinion, and for $65 for a 90 minute float, it is a great price. It's really a spiritual experience unlike anything I've ever encountered. The relaxed, chill vibe of this place made it easy to get into the mindset of floating. The front desk guy explained how everything worked and answered my questions. The tank is in a private room with a lockable door. There's a shower and place to leave all of your stuff. They provide toiletries and other nice touches like earplugs, q-tips, and vaseline to cover up any small cuts you might have, because otherwise the salt water will sting. I have tendencies toward claustrophobia and need a Valium to endure an MRI, but I had zero issues at all being enclosed in the tank. It's like a really big, enclosed bathtub. You can leave the lid up and lights on if you want. I did, at first, but then I felt chill enough to close the lid and turn off the lights. They say that you'd be surprised at how quickly 90 minutes pass, and I can say that this is accurate. Floating is like meditation, but better, because you don't have the physical discomfort that comes with sitting meditation. You just float, and the soothing relaxation opens and expands your mind in powerful ways. Overall, this is an amazing place. Clean, quiet, lots of thoughtful attention to detail, super chill and relaxing and soothing. A+++++, will float again. read more

I had a great experience at Weightless Float. I wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. I scheduled for a sauna and a float and I think it was a great way to get introduced to their services. I wasn't able to complete the full time of the float because I got a little nauseous but I sometimes have a sensitive stomach so it wasn't their fault. I am going to give it a second try some time soon. read more

Weightless is an example of a business well run. From beginning to end my experience was EXCEPTIONAL. Before we walked in the door, the place gave off a great vibe - good lighting and plants everywhere, just like I like my spaces :) The owner, Greg, met us when we walked in the door and gave us a tour of this perfectly appointed space. I have "heightened sensory perception" so things can go either really wrong or really right for me in terms of smells, sounds, lights, etc - this was the latter. Every room we walked into seemed so "right" - even the different levels of humidity in each room - it's hard to describe it, but you'll see what I mean when you get there. The design of this space was so incredibly well executed - it is a gorgeous manifestation of their mission and their vibe. Greg did an awesome job of explaining the facility, the process, and the experience, and I felt perfectly prepared for the first float of my life. I don't think any of my words can do justice to the actual float experience (nor should they - this needs to be felt, not read) but suffice to say I will be back in short order. I live in Cincinnati and we have float places up here but to be honest, Weightless is one of those places that immediately just felt like HOME to me, and I have no qualms about driving 90 min to experience this again. Do yourself (and your future self) a favor and check out what this place has to offer. Could end up being a complete game changer. read more

You haven't really experienced true peaceful relaxation until you've floated in a pod. Take a cleansing shower, slip into a tank, turn off the lights, turn off your mind, and turn off the world. I went in thinking it would be a little"new-agey-hokey-but-I'll-try-anything-once" and once I got in the pod entire thought process transformed. This is the peaceful AF knowledge you seek. Go. Went here to check it out after others recommended. I wasn't familiar with the area and drive around the block probably twice! Greeted a few minutes after arriving. She got me signed in and explained a few things before we headed back. There were a couple people sitting in a room drinking tea. Everything was clean and calming. Went straight to a room and got in. I did not know ahead of time to not shave. I believe I was relaxed enough to fall asleep even if it was just a couple moments. For me I never did get comfortable warm - I was cold the entire float. Music was never mentioned to me but I think it might have distracted me instead of relax. I did absolutely Nothing for the rest of the day! I was so relaxed and calm - I think I even took a nap afterwards. Enjoyed it enough that my husband bought us a gc to go back. Only thing I'll change is asking ahead of time about making mine warmer. read more

I'm a repeat floater and have also used the sauna a few times. Weightless does an amazing job of explaining floating to newbies, they take you through what you need to do to prepare for so that you are able to get the most from the experience. The staff are very friendly, and welcoming. The entire facility is extremely clean and has a very pleasant atmosphere that sits somewhere between a spa and a yoga studio. Going in for a float at least 1x/month is HUGE for both my mental and physical health, and I always leave feeling rejuvenated. When I can tell my body really needs some extra TLC, I'll schedule a float and sauna back to back. If you've never floated and you're anxious about it, this is the place you want to go! This is amazing. I wish it was closer to me but I'll make the drive. You float for a full 90 minutes plus get time before & after, which is why it's blocked in 2 hour times. This place is more spa like, quiet, and blissful. The best in Louisville between the 2 places that do this. If your claustrophobic, don't worry. I scheduled a float at 8 months pregnant when I was at (what I incorrectly thought) my most uncomfortable. I was a little hesitant, as I tend to be a little claustrophobic, but I was desperate to not feel the weight on my belly and back for a bit. I am so glad I went! It was nowhere near as scary as I'd imagined and I ended up relaxing very quickly. My pain melted away and I could even float facedown with a pillow. Any pregnant belly sleeper knows what a miracle this is. I basically described the entire experience to everyone I've discussed this with as a 90 min savasana. I can't wait to come back. read more

Weightless is truly a great space. I recently booked the total package with a massage, float and sauna session as I was preparing for a long work trip. If you're new to floating the staff seems devoted to making sure I knew what to expect and how I could improve my experience. With this being my third float, I've also noticed they are plugged into the international floating community and are consistently improving the service. The benefits of floating are numerous and include detoxing, relaxation deeper than you've known before due to the lack of gravity at play in the water that is more dense than the Dead Sea, and therapy for bones, muscles and tissue, to name a few. I'm hooked. My massage was done by Arielle and she knew just how to prepare me for my float. She left me feeling great and gave some personalized feedback as to what she found happening with my muscles and alignment. As a yogi and professional entertainer I appreciate the knowledge she had and the attention to detail. Two thumbs up! Lastly, the sauna session was a perfect cap to my spa day. They have an infrared sauna that heats gradually and warms your body from the inside out which is more comfortable than steam saunas. Don't worry though, Ellis, the owner, informed me that inside out just means a few layers under the skin. Your organs are safe! I recommend you check out this space whether it be for massage, sauna, float or even the late-night events and yoga they offer. P.S. Weightless is my new favorite health and balance community. I had never floated before, but since a recent head injury I experience sensory flooding, usually overstimulation from noise or activity. After a few weeks of nonstop activity and noise I was exhausted and jittery. I decided to try an isolation float. It was wonderful. It reset my stimulation baseline and left me better able to tolerate the noise. I find that when I start to feel the accumulation of overstimulation, a float helps me calm my system, usually for a week or so. I can't wait to try the sauna and the special workshops! read more

Weightless is such a great little spot. Floating is a bit of a weird experience the first time or two, but it gets better and more interesting the more you go! For me, the best thing about Weightless is the passion of the staff regarding the benefits of floating and their genuine interest in ensuring you have a great experience. I was pretty nervous before my first float and they encouraged me to ask as many questions as possible - and didn't make me feel stupid! The space is clean, beautiful and relaxing. There's an area with tea, water and books to hang out in pre or post-float. When you go into the room with the tanks, there is also a really nice shower so you can rinse off before and after entering the tanks. Lots of really nice products including Dr. Bronner's is provided for your shower, so you don't have to worry about bringing your own supplies. Such a nice bonus. And the staff certainly don't rush you out when you're finished, which I really like. You can hang in the lounge area with a book and cup of tea to absorb the very interesting experience you just had! The owner also encouraged me on my last visit to feel free to come early and use their yoga room to work in some nice stretching to center and calm myself before my float. I had been curious to try float therapy for a long time and I was ready to go when Weightless was established in town. My first experiences with floating have been incredible. These folks make it easy to come in and get going. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Facility and equipment are clean and well maintained. Great peaceful atmosphere inside the spa. I was given a thorough run-down of what I could expect. My wife who was hesitant to try floating is on-board now as well! Personally, I use floating to relieve lower pain and neck tension from heavy training and racing on my bicycle. I have not found much else that works as well. It's also an incredible stress reliever after a long week to clear your head. They also have saunas which I have recently been taking advantage of. Just had my second float a couple of days ago and I can't say enough good about it. I went in suffering from tightness in my back and toe numbness, and right after the float was over I already had feeling back in my toes. Great for stress/anxiety relief and wonderful for muscle/joint/body pain. And the facility itself is super welcoming and calming, as is the staff. I've only floated twice now but plan on doing it regularly moving forward. The benefits are too good to not do so. read more

I love this place. It's in part of the renovated Distillery Commons. The facility is beautiful, and each pod has its own room, with individual showers and an assortment of organic shampoos, conditioners, body washes, and lotions. The lounge area is great, with beautiful artwork throughout. The biggest difference here is that you get a 90 minute float. This was great for me, since it took me about 45 minutes just to relax and get acclimated. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Will definitely come here again! read more

Horrible horrible experience. Scheduled wrong multiple times and then they cancelled me. No offer of discount or anything. Employee blamed it on new people - which doesn't speak well of their management to not train and then blame it on employees to customers. Wow what an experience! I arrived early and was shown around the center by staff. This place is beautiful, relaxing and quiet everything you want for a therapy like this. Awesome room with clean and personal amenities. Personal shower before I float, clear Instructions and what to expect also how to resolve an issue like salt in the eyes. Post float lounge with tons of unique books about alternative therapy's like Earthing and psychedelics. Tons of time to hang out never a rush. I would say I would love here if I could. read more
