I have been a patient at this clinic for the past several months and have had great success with my GLP-1 weight loss program. Unfortunately, my experience today completely destroyed my confidence in this practice. The office opens at 9:00 a.m. I arrived at 9:20 a.m. to pick up my next month's medication before leaving town. This was a routine refill, and I specifically planned my morning around it because today was my only opportunity to get my medication before my trip. When I arrived, the receptionist informed me that she was the only employee in the office and that nobody was there who could actually assist patients. She told me someone was supposedly on the way but had no idea when they would arrive. I waited, hoping someone would show up, but when I left at 9:30 a.m., a full 30 minutes after the office had opened, there still was not a provider or staff member present who could help patients. While I was waiting, I was informed that I could not receive my medication because I needed a new physical. This was the first time I had ever heard of this requirement. Four weeks ago, when I picked up my previous month's medication, nobody mentioned that I would need a physical before my next refill. Had I been informed at that appointment, I would have scheduled one immediately. Instead, I was only told about it on the exact day I needed my medication and was leaving town. I explained that this left me with no opportunity to schedule the required appointment before my trip. I was then told there were no providers available, no telehealth appointments available, and no way to resolve the situation that day. What was most disappointing was the response when I explained that I had never been informed of this requirement. I was told, "I probably did tell you that. I'm really good at reminding people." That response felt dismissive and did nothing to address the fact that I was now being forced to interrupt a treatment plan that had been working well because of a communication failure on the clinic's end. My frustration is not with the requirement itself. If patients need a physical every six months, that is a reasonable policy. My issue is the lack of communication, the fact that the office was not adequately staffed when it opened, and the complete lack of options offered to help an established patient avoid an interruption in treatment. When it comes to healthcare, communication, reliability, and professionalism matter. Patients should not discover critical refill requirements only after arriving for a scheduled medication pickup, especially when there is nobody available to help them once they get there. Because of this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Weight Loss MD, all thanks to Diana. I mistakenly thought I could walk in for a medication refill and learned that an appointment was required. Instead of turning me away and making me reschedule for another day, Diana went above and beyond. She immediately valued my time and creatively solved the problem by arranging a Microsoft Teams meeting with a Nurse Practitioner right then and there. I was taken care of quickly and received excellent service. Diana also took the extra time to remind me exactly how to dispense my medication properly, which I truly appreciated. Thank you, Diana and the entire team, for your thoughtful, efficient, and outstanding care! read more

The GLP-1 product I received from this business has been more effective than those supplied by other clinics. Their compound Includes B12, but no glycine. Their prices have recently become more competitive. I bought the 3 month program. I have tried several other providers. with less success. read more

great weight loss services and options, lovely staff and prices are reasonable. The provider was informative and the MAs were kind and welcoming! read more

I have been coming here for many years. In the past year the service has been HORRIBLE!! I now call them every time before I go in to make sure everything is 'good to go'. The last 3 times, after having called and been told that everything is good, and I can just show up, no appointment is needed... it turns out that is NOT the case... Yesterday I was told to just come in to refill a prescription, no need for an appointment. I show up today, and am told that the prescription can not be refilled, and I need to make an appointment!! They made me waste 2 hours of my life today, time I will not get back, because of their lack of care and respect of people's time. I do NOT recommend this place. read more

Very disappointed. I purchased a package that clearly stated a medium area includes legs, but when I arrived (after driving 45 minutes), they refused to honor it. I ended up wasting over an hour and a half of my day for nothing. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place at all. Also lost $100 because Groupon won't give me my money back since the girl in the front used my groupon.. read more

First of all there's a 2 month wait to just get an appointment. Once there it was fast. Staff was nice. However they messed up and I haven't been able to get me an appointment since. First the person that did me no longer works there then the next supposedly had Covid then the next one too only they failed to call me so they wasted my gas and we all know it's insanely expensive. On top of that they will only fix their mistake if I pay for it. I was never treated this bad in Las Vegas where I previously went. I guess this won't be my regular place in Denver. read more

Three months and $1,000 later, I only gained weight on "Semaglutide." I put in quotes because who knows how they're mixing the GLP1 drugs, it's not legit. No stars. Do not recommend. read more

This place seems to be the starter clinic for mid level providers out of school or needing a job. The turnover is crazy. As a healthcare administrator, I didn't have much negative to say about this place until *recently* The most recent provider in there speaks to you like you are a child, is patronizing, and refused to write a prescription that she and many other providers there have written for me under the exact same condition and medical history as before, stating "company policy has changed(?)" what? Nonsense. This same provider told me that a medication I'm on (bupropion) could make me gain weight and there's absolutely no research that shows that. I will not be back. I had zero problems until she was hired, I felt like I was being talked down to by a preschool teacher that had no idea what she was talking about. I knew more about my meds than she did. read more

BEWARE of deceptive advertising with Weightloss MD! I was able to purchase 3 Groupons for montly weightloss injections @ $149 per month, all of which has a 3 month expiration date. When I made an appointment for my 2nd month, I was informed that I had to pay $399 and could not use my purchased Groupon. They say their policy is only 1 Groupon per patient every 6 months but this policy is not identified on the Groupon advertisement or the website. Weightloss MD lures you in with a great advertised price then when you spend $$$$, they tell you that they will not provide the service you for purchased for the purchased price! read more

I purchased a Groupon for a month weight loss program that includes 6 B12/ lipotropic intramuscular injections and a 28 day supply of phentermine. So far I have had two of the shots and have taken the phentermine for 4 days. Phentermine is an amphetamine prescription appetite suppressant and it can have scary side effects. I only take half each day because of the very common insomnia risk. Also, you shouldn't drink caffeine while taking it, bummer. But my goal is to lose 15 lbs quickly and overeating is my downfall. Pros- even without the Groupon pricing, this place is pretty affordable. Walk ins welcome for the injections Cons- not a very personalized experience. Given the lousy of side effects (especially for phentermine) I was really surprised the don't take the time to check in or even ask how the phentermine is going. Also, no words of support in weight loss or even weigh ins. You would think for a month long weight loss program they would at least want to track progress. Overall this place is okay. Good location in Cherry Creek by the 1 bus line. Clean, friendly front desk staff (there is one guy at the front desk who is especially knowledgeable and friendly). This is my first experience at a weight loss clinic so I don't have a standard of comparison, this is just my first impression of the business and experience after 2 weeks. read more

The upper management doesn't care. They don't train their employees and expect them to know what is going on. It's so sad. If you don't like your experience with an employee, it's the reflection of management. Run as far away as you can. Once they get management that care, employees will be happy too. I get my B12 shots elsewhere. Not here. read more

This clinic has become overpriced and ripping off the general public. I have been coming to this clinic over 4 years and it is sad that they would have 30% increase within a month with no notification. Not only does the owner not communicate these changes through ongoing marketing updates but he springs these changes on the employees . Therefore they have no idea how to handle the situation when they have to abruptly inform us patients.. Your stent of overpricing your services will be a long term decrease in revenue.. Enjoy !! read more

Skip this place. I was to have the Bio Te hormone pellets placed, Had a 9:30 am appointment, 2 1/2 hours later they still hadn't taken me back. I had to leave for another commitment. 145.00 for the labs, $350 for the pellets, I had to return for another long wait (2 hours) before being seen. Disrespectful of my time. Then, they refused to give me my lab results. I filled out the release form, they demanded the director approve the release before giving me MY results. 2 weeks passed and they still didn't give me my results, and to this day 4 m later I still don't have my lab results. Weight loss: again, long waits (minimum of an hour past my appointment time) and no real support or information about weight loss. The phenteramine appetite suppressant really did help, I lost 20 lb in 5 months. read more

I have been going to this office for a few years because of their proximity to my work and home and they always have Groupon deals. I usually just go in for B12 shots, these take about two minutes to administer. Pretty much always have to wait about 15 minutes to be called in for this simple procedure. Last couple times I went in there were ZERO other patients in the waiting room and THREE people working behind the desk. I still had to wait 15 minutes! This makes NO sense! There have even been a couple times I have tried to go on my hour lunch break and had to leave with out getting my shot because I was waiting for about 37 minutes to be called for my service. Just be prepared to wait and wait and wait EVERY TIME you go into this office. read more

I had an in person appointment for my bio t. The staff was extremely courteous, the nurse was on time. And the procedure was painless. *****I also posted this review on the "other business name they use which is Cherry Creek Aesthetic & Massage***** Thru my research i've found out they switch names after they receive too many bad reviews and complaints to the health department. I had originally gone to this business on a groupon for b-12 shots. I did not have any issues with them other than a revolving door of both MA's and front desk staff. I use to get shots once a week and in all that time I never had the same MA once.....even if I went on the same day of the same week. I had also purchased (at the same time) a laser hair removal package and they burned my lip so bad I had blisters for over a week and I'm afraid some of them may scar. I asked the tech immediately to get her supervisor and when he came in he was very rude. He denied that I was indeed burned. I asked for my money back on both my packages and he declined. 2 days later I sent them an email with the pictures of my blistered and scabbed lip. I got a call back from Darren (not sure if he is a Doctor or what) was told that they would refund my money and I've yet to see a check even though I've reached out to them and gotten zero response. This place is a total scam and I think the only business they get is from online deals, they simply can't stand on their own services and are in fact very dangerous. read more

Purchased a Groupon like many others. It included 6 weeks of shots and a 30 day supply of Phentermine. I've only visited twice so far but i have to agree with the many other reviews, this place lacks professionalism. The staff doesn't seem to like being here and the program is not personalized which makes the experience pretty blah. After the initial visit you go weekly to get your shot and pick up refills for the pills if you want. Was so annoyed with the experience, I didn't even finish the last few weeks of shots read more

The front desk staff is horrible! Not welcoming at all, they made me stand there for 5 minutes before acknowledging me. I purchased my second Groupon with them for just B12 shots. They said oh you need to see the doctor before getting these. Didn't mention this to me the last time I had a Groupon and they didn't have this on the Groupon I purchased back in August. My suggestions to you... train your front desk staff to be welcoming and amp up customer service! I would have probably thought about seeing the doctor if I felt welcomed! Maybe try saying "yes this is required because we want you to have the full benefits of the b12 shots and it will only cost you ___. " not saying oh no it's required. No sorry from them either, no I'm sorry for this miss communication. read more

I'm going to give a comprehensive review of this clinic. As "weight loss clinic" it really fails (1/5). As a phentermine distributor, it's not bad (4/5). I got the "1 month weight loss program" through groupon. I have an extensive medical background. I went for some extra help with weight loss because I am going to a special event in a few months. Wait time: 5/5 - I arrived at 4:00 pm, paperwork and waiting in the waiting area took about 10 minutes. I was out by 4:30 pm. Cleanliness: 3.5/5 - Bathroom had a urinal that was non working - but it wasn't empty. Yeah, ew. - Waiting room/exam room - It's fine. Old magazines but nothing to write home about (good or bad). They sold tons of protein shakes and nutrition bars. Medical advice: 1/5 - basically non existent. They asked me repeatedly if I knew what phentermine was. The NP advised me to take half a pill initially and upgrade to 1 pill when I stop having insomnia. - There were no nutrition counseling, no exercise counseling, no diet counseling, etc. "Treatments"/prescriptions : 3/5 - As I said initially, it's a phentermine distributor. - They came in with the B12/lipolean shot. It's a syringe that had about 2-3 mL of red fluid in it. CNA didn't know what was in it. I didn't see the container that it came from. For all I know, it could've been red food coloring with saline. Very questionable. I don't think I'll be coming back for the rest of my 5 shots. - Interesting fact: they said all the shots must be taken "in house". If i wanted to get the same shots (B12/lipolean) as "to go" - aka give it to myself at home, I had to pay and buy it myself. This is kind of suspicious. It makes me wonder what did they really inject me with. Was it just saline? Honestly, it would save the clinic MORE money to allow their patients give themselves shots at home because it would save their CNA time. The only reason they wouldn't allow that (that I can think of) is 1. liability for their patients. 2. they shoot you with fake stuff. I don't think it's the former because they DO allow that option for their patients. - They advertise it's a "1 month weight loss program" but really it's nothing more than phentermine distributor. There was no program except come in to get "the suspicious" shot and pills. PS. those who do not know... phentermine is a stimulant. All it does is to suppress your appetite. It acts like Adderall/Ritalin/caffeine. It has similar side effects such as jitterness, anxiety, difficulty sleeping, loss of appetite, and many other adverse drug reactions and interactions. As a medical professional, I highly recommend you get cleared by a REAL doctor before getting this med if you have ANY medical conditions. PPS. vitamin B (all complex) and C are water soluble vitamins. Even if the shot was real, I would recommend you skip the B12 shots as if you get too much, you will just pee it all out. Just take B12 vitamin supplements in higher doses. Overall: I am "iffy" about recommending them to others. If you need phentermine, maybe. If you need real medical help other than an appetite suppressant pill... then I would recommend you look elsewhere. read more

I had a lot of weight to lose after having a baby and was unable to breastfeed, so I decided to take phentermine. I took it once before many years ago when I became hypothyroid. I had to go to my regular doc and it was an expensive program but I kept the weight off until the pregnancy. This is much more affordable, especially with the Groupon, and I lost all 50 pounds I needed to lose. Yeah it's a process. You have to have an appointment first and then you can come in and buy refills. I don't go in for the B-12 injections but it's because the place isn't conveniently located for me. I wasn't looking for a lot of medical advice. I wanted phentermine and was able to get it locally without much hassle. I lost the weight and my pre-diabetes is gone. And though this is off-label, I don't know how I would have made it through the past few months with my infant (who.still.does.not.sleep) without the extra pep in my step. :D read more

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE- I've been going there for about 3 weeks now for a Groupon that I purchased, and you're supposed to get injections every 5-7 days, but the wait is almost ALWAYS and hour long. More times than not, after being told the wait wasn't that bad, I end up leaving after sitting around waiting for 30-45 minutes since I can't sit around in a waiting room all day. But when I come back another day/time hoping that it is less crazy, it seems even worse than before... My initial appointment was at 2pm... I wasn't even taken back into a room until almost 4. What's the point in even HAVING an appointment if they don't follow them??? Then, they schedule you for random appointments for the weekly injections without your permission or consulting your schedule, which throws me off every time I get an email reminder. I also hear others complaining that others who haven't been waiting nearly as long have gone in ahead of them. The whole place is a sham. And after reading the review above, I agree that every time I've gotten service there, there was someone different behind the counter and someone different delivering my injection. And every time I've gotten a shot, I've had a HUGE bruise afterward... And good luck filing a complaint. Almost everyone's excuse is "I'm new" so either they're lying or else this place can't even keep their employees around... And when I've asked to speak to the manager, I'm usually told he's not there, they take my number and I NEVER have gotten a call back. The ONE time I've gotten to speak to him, he simply says whatever he THINKS you want to hear. Clearly this guy is used to talking his way out of messes. The waiting room is nasty, jam packed, and the bathrooms are always disgusting and out of supplies. This entire business is totally a scam. I'm fairly certain that Groupon is the only means they have to build clients. It makes me doubt ANYONE I find on Groupon, and after my month here is up, I'm leaving. Don't waste your money. Try somewhere else. This place is a joke. read more

Surprised by all the negative reviews here. It's a weight loss clinic that relies on a constant stream of Groupon users. What did you expect? I've had a good experience here, but I also did my research. The pills are Phentermine, 1/2 of the infamous drug fen-phen, which was pulled from the market back in the 90s. You have to know what you're getting into. That being said, it's working well for me. That doesn't mean it's for everyone. It's still a drug, and a strong one at that. So everyone will react differently. The place isn't spotlessly clean, the magazines are dirty and wrinkled, most of the staff are CNAs or admins, there are no doctors. But the nurse practitioner who did my initial eval was kind & thorough. I do have one major complaint, and that's when I went for a refill and tried to tell the girl about a side effect I was experiencing and ask if it's normal, but she just said "I don't know", had me sign in, and sent me on my way with no further questions. So that's a little frustrating. But I will continue to support this place because it's works for me. read more

I was hopeful this would help me shed some of the stubborn baby weight I was holding on to but if you choose to try this, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH FIRST!! While filling out the paperwork, no where does it ask you to list current meds you're on. During the very brief and curt visit with the NP, Monica, I told her I took anti-anxiety medication and was wondering if it was ok to still take. She asked what I took and I told her the two I took. She said yes it was fine and should be taken because I would most likely feel anxious on this. She wasn't kidding! I have taken for 7 days and have been jittery, anxious, forgetful, short tempered and unable to go to the gym to exercise (since she said specifically not to as it could make me too jittery). I decided to do additional research on Phentermine and found out that there were MAJOR contraindications on two of the daily meds I take!!! One of which I TOLD her I took and she said it was fine! This potentially could have been very severely dangerous to me!! I called today and again a very curt Monica took my call. When I explained while I was calling, her response was, "I thought you had a short question. I have patients. I need to call you back". Absolutely no concern about the potential danger she has put me in. I will most likely be filing a more official complaint against this organization. But if you do choose to go there, please do some research as your welfare is clearly not their concern. read more

Usually an okay place, but today The strawberry blonde woman behind the counter was extremely rude, unpleasant and acted like that it was a bother to be asking her questions.I would have liked help trying to decide on what type of shot I should receive as they offer many. It is too bad the employee doesn't know how to upsell and maybe I would've bought a more expensive package for a couple packages! When you're a customer based business your customer should be your top priority and you should answer any questions they have and a friendly manner and with patients! I have 25 B12/Lipo injections that "never expire". They were purchased before they had "take home injections". I live 60 miles away and saw that they now offered the take home and verified my injections do not expire. I would need a new evaluation from the NP though first. Drive down, get new evaluation but than am told 1-they would need to train me before allowing me to do the take home (I am a ACLS RN) 2- my 25 injections are not the take home "program" and they are not transferable under any circumstances. Really? The take homes are cheaper to purchase and I purchased them THROUGH this clinic! Same exact item. Just another sneaky way to steal your money. Sorry- you would have to purchase a "take home" program. Don't waste your time here. Staff at front desk has always been rude in the 3+ years I have been here but I always have so many injections I PAID for to use up. Ask your primary care doctor for a prescription for the phentermine. It's covered under insurance and so much cheaper!!! Now I just need to find another way to get my injections. read more

So I bought a groupon for the month, which they didn't actually honor the full month which was frustrating! Secondly, they state when you come in for the injections, that you can just walk-in; however every time that I walked in, I had to sit and wait for over 30 minutes. I would see people come and go and I would still be sitting and waiting, it was very frustrating considering it took all of two minutes to get it done. It wasn't because it was busy, it was simply because if you've already given them your money they didn't seem to care as much about you. It might have helped me lose 10 lbs, but honestly it wasn't worth it. I would go somewhere else. read more

And they rescheduled because the nurse was sick and they don't have a back up nurse. They rescheduled me for Thursday at 915. Guess what!?! The nurse is late to work and I'm still waiting. I have now used 5 hours of vacation. I earn $29 an hour and this groupon cost me $62. Hmmmm. Location not worth it.
