Though my friend had never seen him personally he kept mentioning how one of his boys saw Ryan before his wedding and loved his experience. After seeing that my insurance covered it, I said why not. Another thing that sealed the deal was seeing how hard it was to get an appointment with Ryan. Finally I made an appointment for 7 p.m. on a Monday and I am so glad I came in. I have recently hit a plateau and always kept down playing talking to a professional thinking there was nothing they could tell me that I didn't already know, or that wasn't already mention on some health IG account. Well ladies and gentlemen, I was wrong. Ryan gave me knowledge and a plan to kill. I am now on week 3, and I love walking into work to "wow, Shakira you are slimming down!" (Yes, tell me more!!) This is all a result of changing my eating habits and listening.

I have been with Lorraine for almost a month now and can safely say that she has completely changed my life and point of view on food. She provides such a comfortable and safe environment to talk about not just food, but my cognitive and mental outlook on my life. Upon my consultation, she made sure to note all aspects of my health and past eating habits, and created a delicious customized meal plan based on my preferences, as I am primarily plant based. These plans also integrate meal prep into them, which has reduced my snacking tendencies, as I can just grab my prepped meals from the fridge. I have fallen in love with cooking at home again and get excited about each meal as they are all so diverse and completely satiate me. It's crazy how quickly my taste preferences have changed and crave her recipes. The 3-month plan I opted for includes weekly check-ins, where Lorraine doesn't mention calories or weight every time, but more of how I am feeling mentally based on the foods I am eating. She is also sure to educate me on certain foods to avoid or gravitate towards which can positively affect my lifestyle. I look forward to seeing her each week because she celebrates every small victory with me. I could not recommend anyone else- thank you Lorraine!!!

We didn't really connect on an emotional/psychological level and her hyper rational approach didn't always work for me. Having someone to be accountable to is always helpful, but I didn't feel like I was getting much insight beyond what I've read in books or online. What really tripped me up was her cancellation policy. I had to pre-pay for my time with her and when we weren't connecting and I didn't think I had much more to learn from her, I still had to pay for the two months of sessions I no longer wanted to attend. It's her policy and that's fine, it just really didn't work out for me and I would have loved some recourse for the situation I found myself in.

It wasn't until I met Lisa that I really began to understand what was at the core of my struggle. She taught me how to become aware of my behaviors and to recognize where they were stemming from. How to focus on what it was that my body and mind really needed. How to make food meaningful to myself again. She helped me face my triggers, structure my day so I satisfied my body when I needed it, and appreciate my mind and body for what they are. She taught me that food cannot make me happy. I'm the only one who can make myself happy. We have just finished working together after a year and a half. She has helped me achieve my weight loss goal, which I had thought was impossible, and maintain the weight. She has provided me with all of the tools necessary to progress with my weight loss journey and continue to build a positive relationship with food. Thank you Lisa from the bottom of my heart.

I first met Adrian about 9-10 years ago at NYSC where he was a personal trainer. I did a handful of…read moresessions with him and got myself on a regular regimen and got into good shape. Eventually I fell back into my bad habits and stopped going to the gym. Putting most of the weight right back on. I stood in contact Adrian because we hit it off immediately when we worked together. We both loved sports and were actively playing. We even played in the same football league in the fall. Over the years I followed him on social media and watched his business, his fitness aspirations and his life evolve. I knew when I was serious about getting myself into shape, I'd reach out. So May of this year, I was ready. I had been having back problems, digestive problems and missed the whole football season with a back injury. I reached out to Adrian, we immediately jumped on a call and mapped out what I wanted and how we were going to get there. It was the best decision I've made in a long, long time. I'm 35 with 3 kids and in the best shape of my life. My back is great and my digestion is better than ever. Adrian gave me real information, held me accountable and pushed me to get even better results that I set out to achieve.

I was immediately intrigued and thought to myself, "I need to commit to this, so that I can look like that." It wasn't until later on, and after experiencing the trials of his program, that I realized I wanted so much more than just the body I fought to love in the mirror. I also began to want mental stability and discipline, healthier habits and more informed decision making. Ultimately, I learned to want growth. I've received all of the above and then some. This program was an emotional and physical commitment and I was ready. I struggled at times. I'd be lying if I made this sound easy. It wasn't. It wasn't meant to be. It was meant to shake things up, get down to the core of who you are, what you want, and what it would take for you to succeed. Adrian's commitment and management to my success made this doable. He made it clear from the beginning, if I don't make the time, this will not work. It's about deciding how to adjust and making this a part of your everyday life. If and when I would fall off track or struggle, Adrian provided the one-on-one coaching to get me back in the game. To bring me back and focus. Yes, there was a goal, there's always a goal; however, I received beyond my expectations.

I have gone from not knowing how to use a Barbell at all to being able to deadlift more than 100lbs. Additionally, she offers useful nutrition advice.
