Big problem for an insurance agent. Accuracy is imperative. Mishandled our policy with multiple errors, then tried to blame it on someone else. Obnoxious and rude to me on the phone on one of the very few occasions (and last) time I called the office- instead tried to upsell me on more insurance. Inherited us as clients from Dan Jilek- who sadly passed too soon. Fahoome apparently feels he doesn't have to build or maintain relationships with customers of 25+ years that were HANDED to him- ZERO EFFORT- and we are THRILLED to be rid of him and his constantly changing office staff. Can't keep customers or employees. Do yourself a favor, get out before you have a claim- from those who reached out to me with a claim, it's an even bigger nightmare to deal with him. You're on your own. ‍

State Farm in general tends to have good customer service and good responsiveness. As far as…read moreclaims, when someone hit my car (while I was parked, mind you), the agents here did listen to the story. They tended to refer me to the corporate office which I wasn't too pleased with. Though I understand that the nat'l hotline handles claims, I would prefer they look into my case on my behalf. Because really, that's the only time you need your agent, right? ..is when someone doesn't look where they are going and bumps into the driver side of your car WHILE you are parked. The only time the agents here were very friendly was when they were signing me up for their insurance (of course). In general, as a local chapter, I wish they were a little bit more "on top of things" and responsive to their clients. It just seemed like when an accident actually happens, they don't have a lot of answers or responses to questions. I think this office is fully capable of improving on this.

He has also been a great source when we have been in need of connections for services such as windshield replacements or things related to insurance claims and has proven to be well connected to top notch groups that have provided the same level of service as Pete! After looking at four different providers for a more affordable rate with comparable coverage, we were constantly coming up short. Gino and his staff were polite, professional, and easy to get into contact with. These things are in addition to the fantastic rates we received on both of our vehicles and our home. -They saved us almost $300 PER MONTH for the same coverage!!!- The money you have helped us save will keep our budget in the black for the term of our policy. I can't express how happy I am with this entire experience. Hopefully we don't have to use our policies, but if we do, I'm hopeful the process will be as easy and stress-free as it was to make the switch.

This year we had some significant life changes that surely would've impacted our taxes. I'd have…read moredone then myself otherwise, but we figured a competent CPA would make our lives a little less stressful. We were wrong. We made a 1 o'clock Thursday appointment with Pat Hanniford. When we spoke on the phone to schedule this appointment he was friendly but offered very little information beyond when to come to his office. I also had to ask HIM what informational tax materials to bring to our filing appointment. Shouldn't this have been something he began with? I didn't feel that he was very thorough in this regard and gave me a very loose idea of what he'd need. I took a half day off work and arranged for a babysitter for our afternoon appointment thinking it might be an hour or so. Running a few minutes late we showed up 3 minutes after 1 o'clock. Pat was nowhere to be found. His secretary, Kathy didn't know where he was and didn't bother to call him until we had already been waiting 10 minutes. Then she told us that he was on his way in thinking our appointment (the one that he personally scheduled) was for 2 o'clock. When we asked how far out he was they told us "maybe 4 minutes". That was a gross underestimation. We waited an additional 25 minutes, our first impression of this group growing less enchanting with each passing minute. We had a 2 month old at home that we had scheduled around so this was very inconveniencing, somewhat stressful, not to mention highly unprofessional. When he arrived he was over 40 minutes late for our appointment. Then the actual meeting took less than 5 minutes. We laid out our forms and paperwork, he looked them over, and told us he'd be in touch. Never being told how long the appointment would last nor that he could only devote 5-10 minutes to us, we felt rushed the entire 10 minutes. I later found out that I could've just dropped off the paperwork after work. The whole meet and greet with this office was abrupt and impersonal. So impersonal in fact that they didn't even bother to close the doors to the conference room we were in, allowing whomever to listen in on our personal business. Thus far, not impressed, but we decided to ride it out. At our meeting Pat had told us he'd have our taxes done by the beginning of that coming week. We never heard a thing until WE called at the end of that next week. We were then told they'd be ready sometime the following week. We never heard anything the following week again and began calling every few days leaving messages with Kathy for Pat but never getting a call back. Eventually I just emailed Pat who wrote back apologizing and scheduled us to come in to review our filing. When we arrived he was out of the office again, and came in late, giving us about 10 minutes of his time to review what he prepared. He left us with 1 of 2 options to file and we told him we needed to think about it and call with our directive early the following week. Come the next week and after 3-4 unreturned phone calls to Pat with questions we needed answered, I eventually just went to his office. He of course was not there again but "he's on his way in and he'll be here in 5 minutes" was repeated a few times by Kathy while we waited. (Be aware that this is a habit with this guy, and that his office always always says "he'll be here soon" - Plan on waiting for him every step of the way) . He actually wasn't in the office ANY of the 4 times that I or my wife went there to speak to him and didn't return a single message we left with Kathy. As it's all said and done now, I'll steer clear of this group in the future. Customer service was nonexistent and common courtesy is a reach here. It would seem that either their clientele is the weathered Brighton establishment, not considering a younger generation of client worth extending courtesy to, OR, they're just fundamentally inconsiderate.

I reluctantly agreed because I was considering switching my auto insurance policies from AAA to state farm. I showed up, and proceeded to wait over 30 minutes before the secretary informed me that she wasn't sure when he would be getting out his meeting. He didn't even come out of his office to explain he had another meeting, or to apologize to me. I didn't receive a phone call or an email apologizing either. As a business owner, this is absolutely unacceptable and I will be taking my existing policies and business elsewhere.
