We were able to save a puppy from this place. When we arrived at their location we were kind of…read morestunned. It looked like someone's residence with a barn type edifice in the back. We were introduced to our puppy under a car port with a dirt floor with the puppy in a little fenced area. The lady that met us was smoking cigarettes and just tossing the butts on the ground near where the puppy was. There were cigarette butts on the ground all over the place. The smell of feces was so strong that it made me ill and there was a large pile of empty Busch beer cans piled up on what looked like a pump house. I wish that I could simply forget that place. When we got our puppy home we found out that he had severe Giardia and infection in both ears. Blood in his stool and red inflamed ears. He was also terrified of everything. It took about two months to get him healthy and about a year of working with trainers to get him properly socialized. We contacted the vet that was on the vaccination paperwork that was provided to see if we could get more information about his health history and were advised by them that they had only done vaccinations, no examinations or any other type of testing or care. We also attempted to contact the "breeder" that was provided on another document that Heartland Puppies provided only to get a constant ring with no answer and no option to leave a voice message. When we attempted to search for the breeder on line we could not find them on the internet. Today our puppy is much better and enjoys the love and attention from many but it took a tremendous effort to get him to this point, not to mention the cost of it all. I would not recommend this business and will definitely never return.

If Saturday is most the people, perhaps making a reservation only would be a better experience. 2. The staff working was friendly, but only one spoke English. Again, this was caused by high volume of people and only one person who spoke English. 4. Overall puppy purchase transaction was let's just say underwhelming. DO NOT BUY A PUPPY FROM THIS PUPPY MILL RETAIL FRONT!!!…read more We bought a Corgi in, April of 2025, as cute as can be and we fell in love with him. Do they have cute puppies, that is for sure. However, the breeding behind that storefront is seriously flawed and the health of their puppies is in serious doubt. At the end of March 2026 on a Sunday night we had saw that he became lethargic and needed to go to the emergency vet, otherwise he was going to die. At the Emergency Vet and the Specialist that we seen afterwards we found that he had congenital kidney disease - essentially he had the kidneys of a 13-14 year old dog at less than one year. On that fateful night in March on a Sunday, we had to take him to the Emergency Vet at a cost of $2,000 to find out that his kidneys were failing. From the perspective of Blue Sky Puppies, because we took him to the Emergency Vet, and hence, we found out about their bad breeding - that voided our warranty of our puppy. These people are just sick in the head and, from my perspective EVIL - have the puppy suffer and take them to one of their vets the next day, or even a regular vet - thus increasing the chance the dog would die and thus be out of their concern. He eventually pulled through, but the clock was ticking. The specialist gave him initially 1 week to 1 month. With a change in food and additional medicines and then fluid therapy coming down the end we were able to give him 7 months of life at a cost of multiple times his initial purchase price. Blue Sky Puppies took no responsibility for their defective breeding and weaseled out of their guarantee and we had to foot all of the bill. Our puppy died this Thursday at a year and a half and never got to see his second birthday - a hole that just can't be filled after a long battle that we knew we were going to loose. So, long story short - YOU CANNOT TRUST BLUE SKY PUPPIES. They do not care about the dogs and they do not care about you as a customer. Their warranties mean nothing. From my personal perspective - they are EVIL. Their license to operate should be revoked.

Plus there's certain times I didn't understand exactly what they were telling me. They acted like I should know that. My dog performed everything they taught us all seven weeks except he did not like people to touch him And he was supposed to. I asked him at the beginning of the class what to do because I knew he was that way. They told me by the end of the class that he would know how. Well they never explained to me how I was supposed to train him to do that. And I miss something at the beginning of the class and did not know it. Since they were supposed to be teaching me don't you think they should have told me then how to do it. I am a human being and I make mistakes. We did practice healing around markers and he did fine I thought because he went through it. They never told us I said graduation that we would have to set our dog in the middle of the rang tell them to stay in to be able to walk around and have them stay. All I heard was just do it and increase your time for them to stay. If we never did in class and how am I supposed to know how to do it at graduation? At the end they told me I have a whole lot of work to do to do that class again. I paid $100 and something dollars for the class and $30 in gas times 8 visits. And they expected me to pay and come back again for another one time when I was not taught how to do what they wanted. They told me I was LAX and didn't do what I was supposed to do. As far as I'm concerned I was paying them to teach me not there there to chastise me at the end. As I reached out for some 101 help I accidentally got a hold of one of the teachers. She told me I'd have a whole lot of work to do to make him better. That was why I signed up for the class in the first place. But I ramble on. Just know how to do the things before you bring them there. If you don't you will fail.
